RARE ANTIQUE HDMD BEJEWELED FACETED GLASS COPPER BRONZE BEADED TRIM FRAG JEWELRY
This auction is for a lovely antique handmade bejeweled faceted glass trim finding. It consists of a gorgeous sparkling emerald green faceted glass stone(stone only 7/8" x 9/16" edged with tiny cut silver metal beads. These beads are edged with cut copper/bronze beads. All beads are irregular in shape and size. This lovely finding has silk fabric hand-sewn onto the back. In the area where it connects in the middle of each faceted and unique shaped longer bead there are 3/16" faceted glass stones which are prongset(see the X-shaped metal underside- 3 of them) The four ends have tiny holes for threads to go through the very tiny beads above and below as well as around each glass stone. These are in shades of gold and purplish pink. The bottom stone is not prong-set. But encased in a base of some sort. This is more rounded and ... moredense than the three in the center. It also has a silk underside. This is in very good condition and is perfect for jewelry making. Etc. I believe the beads are glass and not metal. This is very rich in appearance and would be simply stunning used as a dangle for a necklace. RARE GORGEOUS ANTIQUE 20s OPALESCENT GLASS BEADED SILVER METAL TRIM HDMD 30"x5/8
This auction is for another superb antique circa 1920s handmade glass beaded trim. This lovely piece. Along with another trim previously sold in auction, were both found at an old estate in New York. Its header consists of lovely faceted opalescent/pearlescent glass beads in which no two are alike and are in different shapes and sizes. There are multi-strands of silver metal threads which are wrapped with thicker silk threads. The silk thread is also woven through the opalescent beading and secured to the base. At the bottom portion, there are two clear glass tube-like/cylindrical shaped beads which have a small hole in both ends and the surrounding area is a little thicker. In the middle of these two beads at the bottom there is an opalescent glass bead being the same as in the header. The cylindrical beads are also not exactly alike and ... morethe darker gray shade inside the beads are at different heights in the glass. The top edge of the header has three very tiny clear glass round beads shaped like picots(two at bottom and one in the top middel. They also have the grayish silver color inside each one. This is a wonderful rare trim and also can be used as jewelry to be worn as a necklace. It also some weight to it due to the abundance of silver metal threads as well as the glass beading having some substance. This does not mean that it is so heavy that it is weighed down. The dangles are also moveable as one can see in the photos depicted. The opalescent beads do have a sparkling effect and are not dull. It is hard to discern if the glass tube-like beads are faceted since they are small(two together- 1/4" in length) This is also somewhat cool to the touch. I can only say that this trim is very special and is a must for the collector of unique beaded trims. This lovely trim is one that I believe would not be easily found or seen in the near future. This old bag is a large one. 7" by 7 1/2" with an inch of fringe at the bottom. It is unusual to find this type of bag this large. With beautiful Iroquois beaded design, mid to late 1800's. It is all hand stitched and hand beaded. It is beaded both sides. On brown velvet with muslin lining, red trade cloth binding and some red silk at the top. There are nice small beads in good old colors; greasy yellow. Greasy pink, transparent reds with white centers, blues, clear yellow, clear pink, white, and opalescent clears. Antique/Vintage glass beaded Murano necklace 42" flapper length large beads.The purple beads are very thick and 1" in length.The green with swirls are 1 1/8" in length.The pink are 7/8" long.There are 4 each to these different colored beads on the necklace.The necklace has beautiful round gold glass medallions that I have never seen before. There are only 3 of these and since the beads do not hang symetrically one of the round ones may be missing and the necklace may have been restrung.large beads separated by many smaller ones.Look better in person.Beautiful and interesting.

This is bronze color glass beads with bronze faux pearls and iridescent translucent peach tone sequins. The collar wraps or overlaps in the front with a 5 1/2" beaded flower on each side. Then a matching bead-work vines around the sides to the back. The collar is about 4" wide in the front where the large flower is, overall is is 14" across by 11" long laying flat as shown in the photos. This is beaded on a deep ecru color material that is a cotton blend(maybe with nylon or rayon, I did burn test it and it does not ball up but leaves some crispness to the ash) The fabric is triple; self lined and also has an interfacing inside. There is no damage ... moreto the beading, no lose or missing beads. The fabric is clean and sturdy, no damage, there are some remaining threads from where it was original sewn. This traditional authentic Kayan Glass Beads Beaded Baby Carrier and unique collector item, collectable from Borneo, took 6 months to create, was entirely hand crafted from the weaving of the body, to the carving of the wooden seat and sides, to the bead panels(I have seen the bead panels alone selling for $400.00 and up on the internet and the full carrier for $700.00 and up) A Borneo native is seen on following photo. This is a traditional baby carrier from the Kayan people. Central Borneo made of a combination of beads and weaving. Antique Pawnee Tribal Princess Beaded Headband cut glass seed beads 1900ca
This is a Pawnee Princess ceremonial headband that I acquired from the granddaughter of a Pawnee Tribal Princess who lived in the Oklahoma Territory at the turn of the last century. This headband is from the early 1900s. The headband is made from Czechoslavakian cut-glass seed beeds that had been traded to the Pawnee Tribe. The headband measures 18 1/2" long and sits 4 1/2" at tallest spot. It is backed with a cotton muslin material. This headband is very old. So please look closely at the beadwork. There are a few blemishes along the top edge of the headband. For the most part, the headband is in very excellent condition. The headband was mostly kept packed in a trunk belonging to the grandmother and was worn only on a few occassions by the granddaughter to ceremonial stomp dances. Antique Victorian Glass Beaded Cuff Bracelet, Poss Plains Indian/Native American
Up for auction is a very interesting item. Very unique. It came from the an estate here in North Texas, it had belonged to the great grandmother of the woman. The glass beads do date to pre 1900. As shown in the photos the beads are uneven and some soiled. There are 3 bands of smaller white beads with four blood red diamonds with a white bead in the center. Al the beading appears to be hand done, no loom. The beads are connected with thread. There is no damage or missing beads, there is dirt, I did not attempt to clean this super old item.

antique vintage glass beaded fringed flapper art nouveau bracelet
This is an antique glass beaded fringedstretch flapper bracelet. It's made with several strands of gold beading that shimmer and wave upon movement. As photos show. It has a large"pearl" in the center and the whole bracelet has that great unique feel to it that only very old beads and pearls get with age! The band is stretch so it is a one size fits all. They measure 1 1/8" long by 1” wide. They are fully hallmarked. Tested, and verified weighing in at 15.9 grams for the pair. There are no problems save for ordinary and normal use marks. Beautiful authentic Native American beaded necklace with starburst pendant made in the 1960s to 1970. This item is used and it comes from my parent's Native American gallery and has been in storage since 1980. It is being sold as part of family store/estate. The beaded pendant measures 2-3/4" across and is not reversible. There are a few missing beads around the edge. The necklace which is composed of red glass beads and plastic hair pipe beads measures 28" 14"x 2) This was marked NFS, or not for sale, indicating it was possibly part of my parent's collection.
