A vintage sterling silver charm bracelet with 8 charms. The bracelet itself is marked both“sterl” and“Janel” on the clasp. It has an insert type clasp closure with a safety chain. There are 8 charms. 6 of which are head charms with engraving. The engraving is of names and what I think are birthdates– the years go from’51– 77. Each of the head charms are marked. But it is very small printing; as best I can tell, 1 is marked“Janel© sterling, 3 say“Wells ster, 2 say“A.J.C. Co. over“sterling” but I cannot be sure. There is also a round disk charm with a lace-y type trim; it is engraved with initials and“67. On the back of the disk charm it is marked with what I think is“sterling ... moreJanel. Vintage Sterling Silver Jewelry Lot – Bracelets, Charms, Pins... (10 pcs)
This is a lot of jewelry consisting of 9 pieces. There are 7 pieces(3 bracelets. 1 lapel pin, 1 broken pin, 1 pin missing rhinestones, and 1 necklace/chain) marked sterling or 925. There are also 2 pieces(1 beaded ball bracelet and a pair of bead/ball post earrings) that are marked 925 but I do not think that either the bracelet or earrings are sterling because they are too shiny and don't feel like sterling so they are only being sold as silver-tone. I am not a jewelry expert. But just enjoy vintage jewelry. The ring pictured in one of the photos is NOT included in this lot. The items being sold in this auction are: 1. A vintage sterling silver charm bracelet with 8 charms. The bracelet itself is marked both“sterl” and“Janel” on the clasp. It has an insert type clasp closure with a safety chain. There are 8 charms. 6 of which are head ... morecharms with engraving. The engraving is of names and what I think are birthdates– the years go from’51– 77. Each of the head charms are marked. But it is very small printing; as best I can tell, 1 is marked“Janel© sterling, 3 say“Wells ster, 2 say“A.J.C. Co. over“sterling” but I cannot be sure. There is also a round disk charm with a lace-y type trim; it is engraved with initials and“67. On the back of the disk charm it is marked with what I think is“sterling Janel. The last charge is a figure charm that is only marked with“925. This is a lovely bracelet that makes a nice noise when the charms jingle– very pleasing sound. It is hard to get an exact length of the bracelet because. With the safety chain, I cannot lay it out straight. I think it is about 7 inches long. 2. A vintage Siam sterling bracelet I have had since I was young(about 40 years) But now cannot wear. This bracelet has links that consist of a flat-ish shape with Siam dancers etched/engraved on them.
