It is in good overall shape and functional. Front has Kluson Deluxe written in a single line with an oil hole that appears to be slightly larger than you see on the average Kluson tuner. Back side of tuner is stamped on one side of the string post PAT APPLD with the number 2356766 on the other. The tuner button is pretty clean with no cracks and may or may not be original I honestly don't know as this is how it was when I came into posession of it. This is a nice piece for a vintage restoration and really tough to find. Has been in my parts bins that I am cleaning out for a number of years. Founder of the Dallas International Guitar Festival is not just a dealer, he's a player. His first taste of success was on the high-school band compilation A New Hi, an album that enjoys collectible status these days because it also marks the first recording for Wallace and his friend and fellow Oak Cliff native Stevie Ray Vaughan. After high school, Wallace and his band Lynx made quite a name for itself touring in the'70s with some of the hottest acts of the day, such as Styx and Kansas. Purchased by myself as a Musical resale item because it was a Useable*Note READ shipping Terms* ITEM: York Double Compensating French Horn artist series. Was damaged and i repaired& serviced it fully! Everything checked& rechecked! MECHANICALLY: All 4 valves Mechcanical Valves Lubed& checked for action. They have been lubed for 100% and good working. Fast action feel. SIX Slide was completely removed, cleaned with alcohol& lubed with conn red tuning slide grease& replaced, all slide well& feel nice. The bell dents were pounded out with a rubber mallet against a hard rubber form to reshape the bell. This means that the dents are gone, BUT they are not flat and seamless like a new instrument, so it has a pounded out look to it! Thats means this is NOT a french Horn of beauty at all! There are minor dents in the tubing ... morejust a few, but they are not restricting air flow. All tubes are stamped#13. I see this repaired horn as a practice instrument, not for the stage presentation. The WESTWING German silverplated mouthpiece is stuck in the horn end and I did not remove it. It seemed to me the lead pipe was shorter than normal, but i didnt exactly know? I believe this horn is playable again, but you must understand, its NOT pretty! OPTICALLY: GREAT Tonality& Projection is Possible! I play violin. Not Brass insurtment's, but this should be a great sounding French Horn once its Played by someone who KNOWS how to play. A good player can play any FOUR valve instrument in Brass winds, A begineer can play nothing and gets fustrated and accuses the Seller of selling a item; Not as described" If you are a begineer, and Rich- you need to Practice and improve; not accuse! 1958-61 Statton Trutype Americana Hampton Maple Bedroom Set Dated & Numbered
For sale is my childhood maple bedroom set. The newest pieces are dated August 3. 1961. Heavy, solid, and all original maple set. Each have numbers and have a white manufacturing date. Each piece except the bed frame has"Statton TruType Americana" burned into the inside top drawer. Statton Furniture is still in business. The company started manufacturing quality bedroom sets in 1926. Full/double bed frame needs repair where rails seat into the head and foot boards. Planks between the bed frame that hold the mattress and box spring could use replacing but they do work and believe them to be original. Bed frame measures 81 inches long, outside width is 58 inches. Head posts are 40 inches tall. Foot posts are 33 inches tall. Box spring area is 9-1/2 inches off the floor. There is one single drawer nightstand that measures 30 inches ... moretall, 20 inches wide, and 16 inches deep. The dresser has 6 drawers and measures 34 inches tall, 48 inches wide across the top, and 19-1/2 inches deep across the top. The mirror is in excellent shape, hangs independently on the wall, and measures 35 x 35 inches square. The chest of drawers has 5 drawers.
