Scarce"Adoree" by Eroy Perfume Bottle NUDE Figural Frosted Glass Stopper 1940 incredible estate find among a box of AVON bottles! VERY GOOD CONDITION no chips flaws or scratches. It does have a couple of air bubbles within the glass. Normal for older glass there is a Y embossed on the bottom. Slight build up around the rim which can be cleaned. I did not want to do this for fear of damaging it due to my inexperience bottle originally created in 1925. Produced by the BTCIC glassworks, and was used for various perfumers but used by Caray in 1939. This bottle was used by Eroy's perfume Adoree in the 1940s. insurance included! Up for bids is a nice vintage 1940's era Illinois Farm Bureau embossed metal sign. The sign has been hung on a building at some time in its life. It shows wear and nice patina. There are a couple of holes in the sign that can be seen in picture three. Sign also has a few scratches and a few dings. Still pretty good shine on the sign considering its age. Was manufactured by Gray Wire Specialty Company. Wire rack is painted a dark green color. The measurements are as follows: 21" across the bottom and tapers to 14" at the top cross piece and is 12 1/2" deep and it stands 27" tall. The spacing between the wire to set the plates in get smaller as you go up the rack. From 6 1/2" on the bottom to 5 1/2" to 4 1/2" ... moreand finally 3 1/2" for the top saucers. This also has a loop at the top for placing a sign or display piece. When you are not using this it folds up nicely. I hope all of this makes sense: The rack has spaces for 8 plates- saucers. Etc. and 2 hooks for hanging cups. I shown you in my pictures exactly what this will hold. The plates, saucers and cups are NOT included but to show you how it looks when items are displayed on it. Comes with the original shipping box and label still attached. Box shows wear and the wire rack will be shipped in it's original box. I know you will find a very creative way to use this in your shop. Home, studio or displaying at an antique show. The condition is excellent and very clean. This is new old stock and has never been used other than the items I've displayed on it so you can see what it looks like.
