The coin comes in a 2nd generation old green holder(OGH) slab. the standard sized slab(not the smaller 1st generation"rattler" slab) with a green label(da! which has the PCGS logo and bar coding on the label. And the embossed PCGS logo and small hologram on the reverse. Just in case you're still wondering, pictures of the coin and slab(obverse and reverse) are included in the listing. Antique 5 Gallon Glass Carboy / Water Jug / Bottle (1939!)
This is not your average change jar or beer fermenter! This beautiful antique 5 gallon glass bottle is from the Distillata Water Company of Cleveland Ohio. The bottle is in great condition. With no cracks or chips. There is some minor surface tarnish(i.e hard water stains) on the outside towards the top, and on the inside towards the bottom but it seems cleanable. The exterior has a beautiful raised glass textured decoration which reads Health! As well as“Drink six glasses every day” The back side is marked DISTILLATA wrapped around the top. And a square glass border in the center which is presumably where a decal used to be. Wrapped around the bottom, there is text which reads“Pure distilled water” and“The Distillata people” The very bottom of the bottle is marked 1939! This bottle is VERY heavy, as the glass is quite thick. The top of the ... morebottle is shaped unlike any other antique carboy I have ever seen. The plates are 6-1/4" wide. 2 of the plates have vegetables in the center and one has a rooster surrounded by vegetables. All three pieces have a silver band near the edge. On the bottom of one of the plates is written 1939, in the color matching the makers mark. These plates are in pristine condition for items that are 73 years old! Regular Issues of Bank of Greece 1928-1940 When Bank of Greece was founded didn't have its own banknotes. Until these notes circulated Bank of Greece issued the remaining banknotes of National Bank of Greece overprinted by the new bank's name. Totally ten overprinted notes were issued. The 25. 50 and 100 drachmas of 1923 and 500 drachmas of 1926 exist also without the overprint. In 1932 Bank of Greece issued its own first banknotes, 500 and 5000 drachmas. During the 1930's three different issues circulated. Until 1943 the overprint notes circulated in parallel with the regular notes.
