FINEST HAND HAMMERED COPPER BOX CA. 1910 AMERICAN ARTS& CRAFTS PERIOD ANTIQUE COPPER BOX from the AMERICAN ARTS& CRAFTS PERIOD Ca. 1910. Superb hand hammering of the copper. This is a very heavy box. Probably made as a card or cigarette box. It is lined with nickel silver and a nickel silver plate is attached to the underside of the lid. Which is slightly domed in the middle. Finely wrought details. Obviously made by a master craftsman of the early 20th century. MANY PHOTOGRAPHS BELOW OUR DESCRIPTION There are two holes in the bottom. Possibly to let steam escape when soldering the box to its base. Edges of lid and base are also hand hammered. There are odd diagonal and horizontal scratch marks on the bottom of the box. Top shelf is 18" from floor. Bottom shelf is 5" from floor. Support columns are 20 1/8" tall x 3 1/8" wide x 1" thick. Shelves are approximately 11 7/16" x 9 7/16" Obviously hand crafted. This little table has no obvious signs of nails or glue, yet it is very sturdy. Bottom shelf looks to have been made in 2 pieces of wood I believe to be oak with a dark stain as it' heavy for the size, though I'm certainly no authority of wood grains. Apparently, the craftsman ran out of stain as one inside column near floor is a bit unfunished. View close ups for a better idea. Top shelf exhibits crack as pictured. Vintage Arts & Crafts Ring, Hand-Hammered, Size 5
Craftsman/Arts& Crafts style ladies' ring. Size 5 to 5.25. American or English. Dates to about 1915-1925. Hand-hammered body with applied leaf-forms on the sides, and a hand-set polished onyx. The onyx is ivory to green and in excellent condition. It is 3/4 inch high. The brass polishes to soft luster on the highest points, and a darker patina on the hammer marks. An unusual ring in excellent condition. It appears from the very back that it may have been sized 1/8 inch larger. As there are no hammer marks on that bit. There are no hallmarks or other indications of maker. It was purchased at an antiques flea marked outside Chicago about 10 years ago. I have enjoyed wearing it for several years. But it no longer fits me. I will wrap it very carefully for shipping to the purchaser.

Amphora Teplitz Arts Crafts Vintage Hand Painted European Pottery Vase NICE
First of all this is a beautiful hand-painted pottery/porcelain vase with a beautiful design on it. It most probably is European. Perhaps Austrian or German, Czech- Teplitz or Amphora but I don't know for sure. It is marked on the bottom only numbers: 2149 and 17. The vase is either pottery or porcelain as it has characteristics of both. Stands about 10 and 3/4" high x almost 8" widest at bottom portion. The vase has 2 nice side arms/handles and sits on 4 legs(flat) The main glaze colors are a gloss grey/green and white mottled background. The hand-painted design is on the front and is encircled in a painted/squeeze-bag style design of flowers and vines. The flowers are white and dark green and the white flowers are raised. The central art design is hand done of a monastery(a corner of it) and its surrounding grounds. It is ... morejust exquisite. There is a white path or road that leads to it and white clouds in the sky, green trees, and blues in it. The overall vase for its age is nice with crazing on this type of porcelain gloss body. There are what looks like firing cracks/lines near the opening(see pics) that could be original to the piece. They could also be extensions of hairlines due to age and the glaze process. Overall, the piece is in very fine condition no chips, other cracks, hairlines or repairs. I tried to picture the crazing/hairlines/firing lines the best I could. VINTAGE ABBEY PEWTER OF SHEFFIELD HAND HAMMERED VASE ARTS AND CRAFTS
Abbey Pewter Osborne& Co Sheffield Hand Hammered Vase. The Vase is 7 1/2" Tall with a Base of 2 7/8" and a Top Rim of 2 3/8" The Tankard has a Footed Bottom Rim. The Vase Narrow from the Base to Imitate a Short Stem and then Widen to the Base of a Bowl before Narrowing Gradually and Finally Flaring to the Top Rim. The Vase have a Smooth Surface at the Base and again at the Top Rim. But in between they've been Hand Hammered to give a Textured Surface. The Pewter is quite Dark and will respond well to a Further Treatment of Silvo and Elbow Grease! Louisiana, and I was told that this artist also worked at Newcomb College Pottery. I cannot be certain but can only go by what the family member told me. You will have to decide for yourself if you believe this provenance. The decorations are on all sides of the shakers. There are some tiny flea bites on the base corners of one shaker and the other shaker has a white glaze pop on one base corner. The shaker with the glaze pop ... morehas a slightly dark line on one side near the top that I believe is a scratch. They are clean and missing the corks that go in the bottom holes. Arts & Crafts hand hammered brass vase RUSSIAN Imperial eagle Stamp
Up for sale is this arts and crafts vase. It is made of hand hammered brass. The bottom is marked but the mark is worn as shown in photo. I can make out part of the Russian imperial eagle and a few Cyrullic letters. I conclude that this is a Russian piece made during the arts and crafts period. Cica 1930. It is in excellent condition no cracks or holes. There are some green and dark spots. Maybe where water was left on it. The measurements are, 8" tall by 3" diameter at mouth, 2 1/4" diameter at base. Great set of 12 hand painted Mexican ceramic tiles depicting a city street in Mexico City. Circa 1920s. Each tile measures 4 1/2" and the over all design measures 18" high by 13 1/2" wide. This beautifully painted street scene appears almost watercolor in technique. Each tile is signed on the back embossed"C.I.A.S.A. HECHOEN MEXICO" with a Thunderbird symbol surrounded by a circle motif. There is a signature on the lower left bottom reads"S.A.R. There is some light crazing on the tiles due to their age. They were probably set at one time but carefully removed because there is no damage to the lot. The colors are bright and brilliant. This is a no reserve auction. This is a beautiful hand print. It is medium heavy fabric and I would think an apolstery type. It has the texture of pure linen It measures about 48" x 80" or 2.2 yds. someone crocheted an offwhite edge all around. but it is well preserved and perfect as unused. One of glass shades has small damaged at top edge but can not see from under. It is typical arts and crafts hanging lighting for Spanish. Italian or California bangalow house. It is very heavy gage forged wrought iron and weights about 30-40 lbs. It is very good antique condition except one shade.see last picture) The size of lighting fixture is 19" diameter of frame ring. 29" overall wide and 19" height. Arts and crafts era Z.S. & Co. hand painted atomic age sputnik design sugar bowl
Unusual lidded sugar bowl from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Hand painted with an almost surrealistic design. This bowl is by Zeh and Scherzer of Bavaria and the artist signed his name on the bottom. About 3" tall and just under 4.25" diameter at the bottom. There are several spots on the underside of the lid. But I think it is paint. Otherwise very good condition.
