this is a stunning antique lot of 5 handmade Chinese bronze ashtrays. they are from the arts and crafts era and have a stunning ornate design with a textured hand hammered finish. they are a stylized oval-like shape with sides that taper up and are nicely ribbed. they are signed on the bottom with nice patina from age. very sturdy pieces and each measures 5 3/4 by 4 inches. some still have ashes on the inside of them but can be scraped and buffed if desired. i just rinsed them and still look a bit damp in the pictures. very rare handmade lot. Arts and Crafts style with the flowers and a touch of Deco design in this nice antique hand mirror. The designer is unknown. There are no marks anywhere on the mirror. I am judging the metal as either a silver plated aluminum or brass base(a magnet does not stick to it but it shows light signs of pitting on the edge next to the mirror rim) The mirror rim is definitely a different metal from the form. It is the style of the Arts& Crafts Movement. There are no marks. The parts are soldered together. It is of aged copper. It is 9.5 inches wide and 5 inches high at top of the handles. It weighs 1/2 pound. The center shows discoloration due to use and age. These can be easily polished out. If polished it would shin up beautifully. There is an applied. It is rare that a complete Arts and Crafts antique fireplace set remains intact and together as this one has! This fine example of the skill and talent of the artisans of that time can be showcased on your hearth today. Included in this substantial handcrafted set is the fireplace screen. Andirons, tool holder with four tools and log holder/carrier with handle. In each piece the heavy yet intricate scrollwork and the artistic twist of the metal is repeated. The squirrels in the andiron design will be enjoying the acorn they hold to their mouths. The blacksmith who forged these squirrels has them perched with their famous bushy tails in full display. Very imaginative! The fireplace screen has handles on either side for ease of moving it. It is well-balanced with the scrolled feet projecting 5-inches forward and the stabilizers projecting 5-inches ... moreback. The screen is a heavy mesh and good condition for its age. There is one tiny disruption in the mesh as shown in the photo. The original blacksmith burnt oil finish still fills in a few openings in the mesh as shown in the photo. The log holder/carrier has scrolled edges and is supported on scrolled feet and the handle is movable. The tool holder is well-balanced and holds the brush. Shovel, poker and tong. A welded repair has been made to the shovel to support the metal which had fatigued over many decades of use. Antique Hand Embroidered Linen 24" Table Runner Centerpiece Cover Here is a gorgeous hand embroidered table cover runner filled with really incredible hand embroidery needlework. The table cover has an Stickley. Arts and Craft Deco look to it with a floral design done in embroidery floss. Table Runner measurements: 24” x 24” approximately. The square table cover embroidery floss colors are red. Yellow, green and black. The table cover is nicely finished with a scallop finish on the outer edges. Table Runner condition: Good pre-owned condition with some imperfections. There are 11 small spots where the red embroidery thread on the outer scallop edges is missing. I have purchased red embroidery thread and am including the embroidery floss with this purchase should the buyer wish to repair it in the future(see photos 6 and 7) The shade ... moreof green embroidery floss is an olive green front side and a darker green on the reverse side(see photos 11 and 12) On the reverse side you can see that there has been color bleeding to the green floss. I did not find this to be noticeable on the front side of the table doily cover. The table runner is in"as found" condition and I have not cleaned the table cloth because of the mends required. Early 20th century Arts And Crafts art glass and hand hammered bronze base lamp. This lamp is in excellent working condition. And an absolutely beautiful work of art. The lamp is 20" tall with a 10" radius shade and an 7" radius base. I can find no makers mark on this lamp, although there may be one I am not seeing. If anyone knows were the mark should be, I would greatly appreciate this information. Without a mark, I cannot be sure if this lamp is by one of the important artist or metal smiths of the early 1900's. I see 2 of the chunky glass pieces that have cracked. The ring has an unusual shape being higher in front than in the back. The front is also curved outwards. In the front it is monogrammed with 3 ornate letters. These could be Y.Y.W or M.E.E. These extend out a little further than most you come across which gives you a little more hand room when using them as handrail brackets. These still retain about 60% of their original copper flash finish. The condition is good with a few darken age spots and a few dabs of old paint. These are getting increasingly hard to find in this condition, when you consider only a few Victorian homes had 2 or 3 of these you then can understand ... morewhy. Although these were originally used as handrail brackets they also can be used as a unique and interesting small shelf brackets. A friend of mine used ones similar to these for that in her bathroom and I must say they looked good. The circular attachment base is about 2 ¼” diameter and they would extend from the wall about 3 ¼” I also have a pair like these listed that don’t extend out quite as much. Circ. late 1800s– 1920s. Free shipping. Oil has been applied but they should have a final cleaning and clear coated or painted for continued protection. This auction is for a nice old serving tray. It is wood with ceramic tiles inserted. The wood appears to be hand carved. I am unsure of the age. But looking at the wood and construction it does have some age. It is in nice shape and measures 18 inches by 13 inches. Thanks for looking.

2 Antique Patchwork Quilt Blocks Hand Pieced & Quilted Cutter PIECES for Crafts
These 2 quilt blocks pieces are entirely hand pieced and quilted. On my monitor the background looks orange but it is a rusty light brown. They are 14 inches square measuring from the outer edge of the dark blue square. The total size is 15 by 17 inches. They are in very good condition. Clean and odor free. The cotton batting is soft and lump free.

LOT OF 5 VINTAGE HAND-MADE LACE SMALL SAMPLES FOR CRAFTS. DOLLS, ETC. My mother was a member of the local Chapter of the International Society of Old Lacers. She avidly collected hand-made lace of all types& items with lace trims. These things have been in storage for over 30 years& I need to pass them on to someone else who will appreciate them- either in their present condition or re-purposed as trim on newer items. Some are family heirlooms from my great grandmother's era. But they have all become mixed together. She bought many of the smaller pieces to share with the club to study. Identify& attempt to replicate. This lot of five small strips of ivory& ecrue handmade lace samples fell out of one of her notebooks. I'm so sorry I can't identify them.
