Noritake Company, Limited(Formerly the"Morimura Brothers Trading Company" and"Nippon Toki Kaisha Limited" when this Vase was Produced, 1876 to Present) Antique Porcelain, Japanese Art Pottery, Oil Jar Vase with Arts and Crafts Style Buttress Handles featuring a Hand Painted Bridge, House and River Scene on one side and a River Scene on the other side along with an Art Nouveau Background Decoration in Cobalt Blue, Light Blue, Olive Green and Gold Trim in Overall"Excellent" Used Condition, Circa 1911 to 1921. This superb Noritake. Nippon era vase has no chips, cracks, glaze crazing, scratches, scuffs, stains or repairs of any kind. I'm grading this vase as being in"Excellent" condition because the only flaw it does have is some worn gold accent trim in several places. Please ... morekeep in mind that the gold trim was usually applied over the finished piece and with this vase being somewhere between 91 to 101 years old it's inevitible that some gold would be worn away. Another thing to keep in mind is that because the gold trim is applied last it can easily be restored if you desired for a minimal cost. There are still a good many porcelain artists out their who have the resources and skill to restore the missing gold on this vase easily and without much expense. The hand painted scenes on this vase are nothing short of stunning and the trim colors of white, cobalt blue, turquoise, green and gold work together extremely well. In all honesty I can't describe the colors and decorative patterns this vase has any better than what the pictures I've provided can d do, so please use the"Supersize" and"Zoom" features when you view this piece. Stains or possible changes in the patina, small dings. It is original as found condition with no polishing or cleaning. The lid pulls off and on and fits very tight. Clean it up or leave as is. This is an elegant hand beaten Arts& Crafts style water pitcher made by the International Co. with full hallmarks. In very good condition and silver plate. You can see evidence it is plated on inside. Marks which won't photograph well say Derby S P Co. International Co. 2017, a hallmark and W.M. and the rest is not readable. The International Silver Company was formed in 1898 by a number of companies that joined to become the biggest manufacturer of silverware in the world.Derby Silver Plate Co. was one of them. The Derby Co. was founded in 1872 in Connecticut. The company closed in 1933 so this piece dates to between 1898-1933.

Hand made oak arts and crafts style mantel clock, copper face
This clock is 10.25” tall by 6” wide and around 3.5” total depth It is made of solid oak. Hand finished and oiled( around 1” thick, no veneer) and has a hand hammered copper face( 3” diameter) and with brass rivets and fingers. It has a quartz battery powered movement and is free standing It was made by my husband who has exhibited in Scotland and Merseyside/ Chester and currently has his work in galleries in Dumfries and Moffat. He is very much influenced by William Morris. Voysey etc. Condition is new, an unusual one off piece. This Arts and Crafts. Hand hammered nut pick was made by The Kalo Shop of Chicago. Their items have become highly collectible and sought after. This piece as a recent estate purchase. It is a 5 1/4" nut pick that weighs 19 grams. It is marked on the back of the handle- Sterling Kalo 9225 S. The number indicates it was an earlier piece and the S indicates it was considered a"small" in size item. Stunning Pair of Antique Arts and Crafts Copper Warmers or Planters, Hand Rivets
On offer is this truly stunning pair of antique copper items. They are both in really good condition overall. The copper has developed a rather lovely patina from not having been polished in recent years. There is no damage to them at all. They both share the same shape and size and have been entirely hand made. The rivets on the edges and the looped handles are simply divine- certainly crafted by a very skilled person. The top rims have a crimped effect which finishes off the stylish look well. The inner section simply comes out and has a series of pierced holes through the top. The exact usage of these is still a mystery- could they be planters or could they be warmers for either an individual. For sauce boats and small foods. Another possibility is hand and foot warmers- hot coals would be put in them and the heat would radiate out from ... morethe pierced inserts. The are relatively small so would fit perfectly in a stagecoach or horse drawn carriage. The insides have verdegris and tarnish indicating water had been placed into them at some stage. They measure 13.5cm in length(just over 5 and 1/4 inches) 8cm in width(just over 3 and 1/4 inches) and 6cm in height(around 2 and 1/2 inches) I have looked over them very closely but cannot find a mark to indicate a maker. They certainly are from the Arts and Crafts era. Circa 1890's and are in the style of the KSIA- Keswick School of Industrial Art. Arts and Crafts Eucalyptus tile hand made matte green glaze mission
Up for sale is a beautiful. Hand made Arts and Crafts style Eucalyptus tile. Eucalyptus was a favorite motif of several California-affiliated Arts and Crafts artisans, including the Whiteheads and Wesley Trippett. The tile measures a large 4.5" x 8" by 1" I hand press a few of these tiles from a mold of a hand-carved original, and usually 25 or fewer can be made from a mold before it wears out. I then hand carve any unclear details on the molded tile. These tiles are a lot of hand work, so it is very much in the A&C tradition! The tiles are NOT perfectly flat, as they are hand-pressed into the mold, and have some natural warping. In this tile, this is not a defect like it would be in a mass-produced tile. There is a place to attach directly to the wall on the back, or the tile can be framed. The glaze is a matte glaze called"bronze ... moregreen" with great dark undertones. I am only going to make a handful of these. And only 1 or 2 will be sold before Christmas! Already made, so there is no wait time.
