A very good quality arts and crafts sterling silver bowl. It is hallmarked for London 1940 with the maker’s marks being F.H for Fernand Haville. It has been beautifully made having a lightly hammered bowl with a knotted handle design and a rope effect rim. See for another example of his work. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs- just light surface marks from use. It measures a touch over 6.25 inches(16cms) wide between the handles by almost 1.25 inches(3.1cms) tall to the top of the bowl. It weighs 103 grams. A very good quality useable example. This is an excellent antique hand colored print titled"Tannhauser" possibly depicting a scene from the medieval opera, Tannhauser" It was printed in 1915 by Louis Wolff& Co. in London and is in it's original frame with original wavy glass. The print is hand colored in soft tones of blue and red and has a fantastic sepia background. The frame has the original polychrome finish; gold gilt around the outer and inner borders, on the ornately designed gesso crest, and the beautifully carved corners, with a marbled band around the middle, and blue, orange, and red highlights on the crest. The finish is excellent with only some very minor finish loss on the lower right corner, visible in the photos, and a few tiny chips elsewhere. It is all-original and hasn't been restored, repaired, or re-painted anywhere. All corners ... moreare tight and the crest is firmly attached. The hanger is a decorative piece of rope that looks original. The print is also excellent with no visible damage. The paper backing is no longer intact, but the piece of cardstock with the title on it that was once attached to the backing is still taped on. Outer measurements of the frame are 27 1/2" x 19" and the print measures 24" x 13" It will be packed very well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

I have a large collection of Avon copper including some unusual pieces and I will be"downsizing" my collection. This piece is a Spun Hammered Candlestick. It is marked The Avon Copper Smith Avon NY Spun Hand Hammered. Solid Copper. There is wear and scratches. It measures about 2-1/4" tall almost 6" wide. The Avon Coppersmith Shop was on route 5& 20 in Avon NY and was started in the early 30's by Arthur Cole. Former copper smith of the Roycroft copper shop. Arthur worked under Karl Kipp and Walter Jennings during his stay at the Roycroft campus. Much of the work produced at the Avon Copper Smith resembles that of the work done by Kipp and other Roycroft artisans. Original. Old, well made, hand worked with some hammering on the back, copper pen tray with what looks like a center star burst design. It has nice dark-ish patina, with a couple small tarnish spots. The back has some hammer work shown on the up-turned edges. Nice condition, no makers mark found. It is approx. 9 1/4" long and 3 1/2" wide and 1/2" tall, and heavy gauge copper.

8 wonderful primitive hand-forged hammered copper cups with handles. All unique and vary in size& shape. But obviously made together as a set. They appear to have been made in a crude fashion, possibly soup/stew bowls. Very nice rustic/lodge look. They could also be used as candlestick holders but I'm not sure that was their original purpose and there's no wax residue. There are some pinholes and small cracks in a few of them. It looks like a couple of the bottoms have had plugs/patches applied at some point(see photo 3) Nice vintage patina. Handles are all very sturdy. Up for auction is a wonderful and unusual hand hammered copper 4 piece smoking set. The set is made up of a tray. Cigarette holder, match holder, and ashtray. The tray is kind of a leaf shaped measuring approximately 13" X 9" The tray has an upright"prong" attached which could hold boxed matches. The cigarette holder is a large oval shaped ring measuring 4 1/2" X 3" X 3 1/2" tall. The cigarette holder does not have a bottom as can be seen in the pictures. The match holder measures 2 3/4" X 2" X 1 3/4" tall. The match holder does have a bottom attached. The ashtray measures 3 3/4" X 2 1/2" X 3/4" tall. The ashtray has a bottom. But there is a gap between the side of the ashtray and the bottom as can be seen in the pictures. I have not been able to find any maker's marks on ... moreany of the pieces of this set. On each of the shorter halves of the two pulls there is a hole in the end. You unscrew the two halves. Thread a cord through the hole. Tie a knot, then rejoin the two parts. These are beautifully crafted and they strike me as being from the Arts& Crafts era. They may have been used as pulls for wooden blinds. This circular clock“Ruskin” has recently been on exhibition in Dumfries as part of the Dumfries and Galloway Fine Art Society exhibition. It is 12” in diameter by just under 1” deep. Solid Ash, no veneers. It is. Hand finished and and has a hand hammered copper face( 7” diameter) and four decorative roundels and copper rivets and brass fingers.
