This dish is hand wrought as you can see in the photos. It was made by E. T. C. Fish in Tioga. Pa. It is marked on the back side"E. T. C. Fish Hand Wrought Tioga, Pa. and there is a heart with an F inside it. The condition of this piece is very good. I have not cleaned or polished it in any way. The finish I believe to be original. This auction is for an round Arts and Crafts sterling silver crystal jar/bottle. It is signed and numbered sterling silver and 3006D(little hard to see) It was gold-washed inside. The silver top weighs 70.0 gm and the hand-cut crystal weighs 444.5 gm. It measure 2 7/8” tall X 4” round on the silver top. It has a light dent on the lower left hand side otherwise in excellent condition. It looks like initials were removed. I guarantee authenticity. I will accept Paypal only. Hampshire Pottery matte blue snake skin glaze hand thrown arts & crafts vase
Here is a very good Hampshire Pottery vase with a beautiful variegated blue"snake skin" glaze. Made in Keene New Hampshire before 1923 this pottery was influenced by Boston's Grueby Pottery. Although most Hampshire is molded. They did employ a full time potter to throw the simpler forms like this very pleasing one. These wheel thrown pieces are hand incised Hampshire Pottery instead of the in the mold mark. It measures 5 5/8 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with only a few minor bubbles in the glaze, some very minor lines inside the foot ring and no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Dirk van Erp was born January 1. 1860, in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, the son of Willem van Erp and Agatha(born Agatha Tjepkema) Dirk's father and other family members were coppersmiths. Very rare early petit 20th century Arts and Crafts bar. Bar is made of oak. Copper and hand wrought iron nails. It has pictures on the side panels depicting a boat scene and a windmill scene.the piece has an interior lazy Susan for holding bottles and interior shelves as well as a small drawer on the bottom. It measures 30" wide x 14" deep x 32" high to the top of the back splash. The top has a copper partial deck held in place with hand wrought nails and the door has strap hinges also made of copper with huge hand wrought nails. The door has a lock with key for locking your liquor. This isn't wonderful piece with a great patina and color. It looks like the original finish. These little stars are made of solid copper or steel. According to your choice which have been hand cut and beaten. They are 3.25” in diameter and one sided to allow for hanging on a xmas or other tree. Double sided ones and larger ones can also be made to order. Please email for details. They are made by a local craftsman who has exhibited in Scotland and Merseyside/ Chester and currently has his work in galleries in Dumfries, Moffat and Peebles. The initials also suggests a hand made piece. It is very sturdy an you can see the small brass screws that affix the sides together. The carving is wonderful with lovely Art Nouveau floral images first carved and then hand painted into the carved groves. Most of the paint remains. There are some spots that need a little stain. But basically this is in excellent vintage condition. Dimensions = 10" on each side. 29" tall. Serious downsizing means that this and many other wonderful items must go so check out my other auctions for outstanding buys. Beautiful antique oak trunk with hand carved ornamentation. Th original finish that was hand polished with 0000 steel wool and pastewax. It has a frame constructed of 7/8" thick oak with oak veneered panels. Bottom outside frame is carved with a nice detail. The medallion under the keyhole is a series of swirls. Flowers and leaves. The black metal strap hinges are stunning. Ball feet are 2 1/4" in diameter. The trunk measures 37" wide x 18 3/4" deep x 19" tall. Inside is 34 1/4" wide x 16 5/8" deep x 15 1/4" tall. There is no key so it's unknown if the lock works— it's marked"Secure 2 Lever" There are some marks from age and the veneer on the top is a little wavy.
