For almost a decade since it was handed down to me. I’ve been enjoying this ring with compliments coming fast and furious each time I wear it. Now that I’m living in the Southwest. My jewelry collection has evolved with a bit more Native designs and silver pieces in my possession. So my jewelry box is getting a purge that just may be good fortune to the right eBay buyer. I don’t know much about this ring other than the 18k gold-plated tungsten features six light olive Peridot stones securely fitted into an intriguing open design. The photos do a pretty good job of showing the ring from all angles. What’s fun about it. Is I never knew what was the ring’s“official” top or bottom, so I wore it ... moreboth ways; sometimes positioned on my finger with the sixth stone nearer to my hand- other times reversed. With that stone pointing toward the end of my finger. Either way. It has a distinctive look, especially with the way the stones are positioned in the eye-catching open asymmetrical design. The ring is photographed next to a dime so you can get an idea of the stone areas size…and it rises on box-like prongs about ½ inch above the band. Giving it some height on your finger. I would characterize this as a bold yet delicate ring. Its height and number of perfectly matched cut stones most certainly make a statement. The pictures show the wear. Mostly a bit of fading on the plating on the palm side of the band. There are multiple facets in each stone. Oval shaped, but with smooth rectangular faces, some minimal scratching on the gold. Even less on the stones. I wish I knew more about this ring. But more provenance would probably add to the price so I’ll just share that it originally belonged to an East Coast jewelry buff with an extensive collection of vintage pieces and items she acquired on her many travels.
