She had kept all of my grandfathers things and in them there was a box of cufflinks which no one knew what to do with so I asked if I could try to sell them on ebay. I liked the fact that there are so many different types and that they are jewelry made from many different metals. Plus easy to ship. The Treasure of Nagyszentmiklós(also called the Treasure of Sânnicolau Mare) is a valuable collection of twenty-three early medieval gold vessels. Found in 1799 in Nagyszentmiklós, Kingdom of Hungary in the Habsburg Empire(now Sânnicolau Mare in Romania) The treasure was soon transferred to Vienna, the capital of the empire, where it has been ever since. Recently, Romania have issued requests to the Austrian government for its"repatriation" Victorious warrior with captive featured on the ewer from the treasure. Golyama Kosmatka is a Thracian mound near the town of Shipka. In which on September 21st 2004, the famous Bulgarian archaeologist Georgi Kitov, discovers one of the most magnificent and richest Thracian tombs with a fully preserved grave of a Thracian king, buried with his horse. The tomb is build in the 3rd century BC and consists of three chambers and a 26 meters-long corridor. The first room is rectangular and in it was found the horse skeleton. The second chamber is circular with a 4.5 meters-high domed roof. At the entrance of this room a marble door with human depictions is found. CITRINE CRYSTAL BROOCH A gorgeous large citrine crystal brooch dating from the 1960 period. Measuring 2.25" across the decorative pierced work frame being made from gold plated metal. Claw set with a huge citrine crystal stone with unusual scalloped shaped bevelled edge design and facetted reverse. Some wear to the gold finish mainly on the claws and highest raise points. Having a good secure pin and roll over safety fastener on the reverse all else being in good condition. It looks as though it should have been signed possibly by Spinx. But I cannot find a signature.

10K gold plated hinged bangle bracelet with flower pattern
Up for auction is an antique hinged 10k gold plated bangle bracelet that has a flower motif around it. The clasp works really well. But the piece is missing the safety chain. It's a really old piece, and needs a good cleaning. There is a spot on the inside of the bracelet where someone has used acid to test it. It's been tested as 10K gold plated recently by a jeweler. Its a lovely piece to add to your collection or for a graduation present! It's a bit more than 2 5/8" wide at the widest part of the bracelet and is 3/4" thick. Vintage French Chain Belt - Heavily Gold Plated in 14kt
This is a 14kt gold plated chain belt in the style of a French designer. There are no hallmarks so I have been told by Ebay that I cannot guess as to the maker. It is extremely light but when I tested it with my home testing kit it tested for 14kt gold almost giving me a heart attack. I have taken it to 2 different jewellers who both felt how light it was and immediately said it was not gold. I insisted on a test from the second jeweller and he was surprised that the acid test showed 14kt gold which did not dissolve as a gold plated item would have done. I paid to have an electro magnetic test done and the test showed this was indeed 14kt gold plated. The jeweller states that it is heavily gold plated and extremely well done. A very fine piece even though it is not solid 14kt. The chain measures 40" long and has beautifully carved panels ... morewith a flower pattern.
