Antique vtg massive double bell buzzer chime
Massive bell. I tried testing it with a 9v battery and it either doesn't work or that wasn't strong enough. I hesitate using house power as it might burn out the transformer. The bells are 6" wide. HEAVY. At some point these bolted loops were added I assume to mount it to something. I'm leaving them in case you want them but they are not original.

For sale from an estate sale. A lot of 2 lion head door knockers.The larger one is magnetic and I believe it is cast iron. The smaller one is nonmagnetic and is brass colored. The total weight of the knockers is one an a half pounds. The small lion head measures 2 inches wide by 2.5 inches long and the ring is 2 inches diameter. Antique Victorian Servants Butlers Bell Board Description: Antique Victorian Unrestored Servants Butlers Bell board complete with pulley Rare find is this very nice Mechanical Servants Butlers Bell. The bell has a single spring and a bronze bell with a good clear sound. The mount is decorated with a brass Tudor Rose. The bell is fixed to a board with a spring to the left side which acts as a return spring for the bell. On the right side of the bell there is pre-tensioned wiring which is connected to a double bell pulley. On the other side of this pulley you would attach a pull cord which would then be used to pull the bell. Please note: The bell is operated from the right and cannot be turned to operate from the left. The second pulley can also be used if you would want to add a second bell to the board. The wire can be fixed to the correct ... moretension with a small allan key. The enitire set has been sympathetically cleaned but so you can see what it should look like however I have not refurbished it to look like new as I prefer to leave it as it is and if the buyer would want it to look like new again they can have it refurbished. Still has some original wiring left. Has the original chrome/ steel bell at the base of the box. Please see the photos of the inside of the box. Room names: Drawing Room. Parlour, No 2 Bedroom. The bell has some pitting on one half which was the half on the outside of the box but I have turned it so you now have the pitted side on the inside of the box and the nice part on the outside. Antique Victorian Cast Iron Door Knocker, Flower Basket, Hubley
This small door knocker is mounted on an oval base plate that measures 3 7/8" long by 2 1/8" wide. There are a couple of faint impressions for marks on the back. But they are not legible. Research tells us that it is a Hubley design. The hinged knocker is a molded basket of flowers, held by a ribbon at the top. The finish is dull, and the oval plate has a slight bit of oxidation, more like missing paint than rust.it would disappear with a little oil, but we do not alter anything. It measures 9" x 6" would fit in a door that is about 1 1/2" thick and looks to be in very good condition with no problems that I can see.
