Mid-Century Chrome Eames Era LONG 36 Slot Letter Holder Mail Sorter
Classic Mid-Century sorter/ letter holder in a most unusual size. 36 slots and almost 3 times the size of normally seen letter holders of this style. This piece is both exceptionally useful and very dramatic. Overall dimensions are 10 1/8" long and 2 1/2" tall. Coil itself is 2" across and 9 3/4" in length. Versatile for many uses, imminently practical and sleek in a chrome finish. White rubber feet are intact and only show minimal wear. Chrome is in excellent condition as is welding to the base. Baldwin retail store Letter Box Plate Mail Slot display- Used Brass- 10" wide When we were a retail location. This was one of two Baldwin Brass mail slot displays. The letter slot is screwed to a fancy oak board for presentation purposes only. If you make the purchase, we will remove the two mail slot pieces from the board. so. no wood board is included. This is what we referred to as a medium size mail slot. It was Baldwin model# 0015 in standard brass(not the lifetime brass that came later) The overall measurements are approximately 10" wide x 3" tall. The slot opening(where the mail goes through) measures approximately 7 1/2" wide x 1 3/8" high. This listing includes both parts. The top part for the outside of the door has a spring-loaded flap that keeps the flap closed tightly to keep out the wind. The bottom ... morepart is for the inside of the door. It does not have to be used since i t has no function other than covering the rough opening of the hole in your door. The outside part is pretty new looking with some very minor surface scratches. The inside part has tarniishing on each of the four corners with Picture# 2 showing the worst looking corner. We ship only to the 48 States via UPS Ground. Sorry no AK. James Cartland & Son Brass Door Hardware Victorian Letter Slot & Door Knocker
Nice Victorian Brass Hardware. Both have the JCS Cypher and the knocker also has what looks like an R monogram that I have been unable to identify. The letter slot measures 9" x 3" and the width measure between center of screw holes is 7 1/2" The door knocker is 8" long and top plate width is 3 1/2" with center to center screw hole width of 1 13/16" Condition: Original Patina. On Letter plate. One spring hinge with holding pin is missing and although easily remedied, functions with the one that is there. The knocker sits slightly askew but looking closely at it, appears that that can be easily remedied. There is a minor scuff on tip of nose. There are several photos so please scroll.

But if your shelving/organizer unit uses 9" wide by 11" deep removable shelves, these should do the trick. they are slotted on the bottom to allow to be adjusted and held up on typical shelving/organizer pegs. They are used, and show signs as such, but in overall good shape. May have tags on them from previous use to denote the purpose of the slot they were in, as shown in pics. May have slight scrathes or other small blemishes. Vintage Antique door mail slot.Brass 6" wide 6" tall with a 4" slot for the mail. Very ornate and and decorative. heavy brass. Has a brass ornate lid/cover. Also has a rectangle in the ornate part above the slot where the name place must have been. A very cool piece of history! It does show the beauty of age and has a very nice patina.
