This hall tree was refinished by the previous owner, and they did a really nice job. They strengthened the back of the mirror with support sticks as shown in the photos, too. It is tight and sturdy, scroll front legs, lift top seat, applied carving on the base and shapely mirror top. The overall size is 36 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 29 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 17 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat, 28 inches high to the arms and the overall height is 84 inches. The finish is all original and the small hinges on the shelves appear to be brass. This stands 24” tall with each of the“sides” measuring 4 ½” wide at the top& bottom and 8 ½” wide in the middle. The shelves have a 4 ¼” arch of usable space at the top& bottom and an 8” arch of usable space on the middle shelf. For your consideration is this Very Nice Antique Oak Entry Hall Tree. I have been told it dates back to the late 1800s. But i am not sure, could be the early 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern ... moreabove the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. This beautiful antique coat/hat rack was made by the London based company. Heweston Miller& Thexton. They orignated in the early 1800's and were considered a high end furniture crafter. They were located on the famous Tottenham Road, also known as furniture road. This piece is wall hanging and is approximately 3' in height, 2' in length and 1" in depth(not including the hand carved flower/leaves that protrude) It has 8 dowels for hanging of coats or hats. The center of the piece displays a flower in a pot. It is absolutely unique and I have never seen anything like this. Rare antique Jenny Lind maple wash stand. Very good to excellent condition. Wooden drawer slides well. All joints are tight. Beveled edge around stand top. Dimensions: from floor to top of towel bar is 33.5 inches; from floor to top of stand is 28 inches; width from towel bar to towel bar is 25.25 inches and across top of stand is 20.5 inches; depth is 15 inches. This is a lovely and unusual antique piece. Pick up only. A bit of history about the Jenny Lind style of furniture. Jenny Lind(officially named Johanna Marie Lind) was a famous Swedish singer born in 1820. She came to America in 1850 for what turned into a very popular concert tour. The spindled furniture that bears her name is the result of her reportedly having slept in a bed with turned spindles and posts which she greatly admired.

A very fine antique. Circa 1850's, Rococo Revival carved walnut hall serpentine etagere. The crest is with carved grapes and leaves having a scallop shell finial. The supports are nicely scrolled and pierced. The mirror is fine and original. Lots is shelf space for statues, family portraits, or nicknacks. The etegere measures 6'8" 80" tall by 4' 48" wide by 15-1/2" deep at bttom center. The mirror is 29" tall by 15" wide. Excellent condition: walnut boards without chips or cracks, and nicely refinished.

Victorian Aesthetic Rennisance Revival Walnut Halltree Pier Mirror~Carved Head~
For your consideration we offer a 19th Century Monumental Walnut Hall Tree. This piece dates from the 1870's. It is beautifully carved and decorated with very choice hand carved decoration. We believe from our research that it may have been made by Thomas Brooks. The Hall piece is about 8 feet tall or 95 1/2" tall. Just the carved head crown is 27" in height. The Hall Tree is 55 1/2" wide from the widest carved part on the side. Midway down. The brown beveled marble is 33" wide by itself. The marble shelf stands 22" tall up from the floor. The Cast Iron Pans are in the shape of huge Clam Shells and the wood is custom carved to accomodate them. The Hall Tree needs a very good cleaning of the finish. It has a lot of build up from the wax or polish over the years. We had this delivered in the middle of winter here ... moreand have not yet had a chance to clean it throughly. We will be doing the cleaning this weekend. The carving on this spectacular Rennisance Revival piece is just beautiful. The head and carved pieces are solid walnut. There is some Burl Walnut Veneer on the side pieces of Walnut. The marble is the more rare with its rose color& beautiful matrix. There are a couple of loose pieces one from the corner at the top and another small piece that fits by the back. The Hall Tree has had some losses and repairs over its 140 years of age and usefulness. We are selling it as is due to its Antiquity. This is a very heavy piece of Victorian Furniture. 19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOTHIC ARTS& CRAFTS ERA TWISTED CAST IRON TRELLIS-POLE STAND WITH TWISTED IRON FINIAL. The stand would serve as a decorative element-it is circa mid-to-late 1800s in the Arts& Crafts period& design with raised relief deep inset iron scroll work. A central twisted-trellis iron rod, and a twisted iron ring finial at top which is lovely and quite large. The iron finial twists onto top threaded rod-see close-up pic provided of this area-there is a nut or iron washer-or something of that nature missing/absent as there is a space between the finial and the end of the rod where you can see threads-the finial fits on well but a washer or something similar would make up the space and cover the exposed threads-please see pics provided of this feature described. The central rod which is ... morelovely twisted cast iron like a trellis fits into and screws into the base which is original to the rod(see pics) Not bent-it is straight-tight-and intact. The base is lovely with inset and raised relief of open work of scrolls roping on edges-4 large bands-and a center folwer or fleur-de-lis shapes(see close-up pic provided) Measures approx. 26.25" tall x 7" wide(at base of stand) Slight surface rust with no deep corrosion. No cracks or chips-not bent or broken, very good used period condition, clean& unsoiled. I do not know what this was used for, the finial could be re-purposed and the stand made into a table or something-or simply enjoyed as an cast iron antique 19th century Arts& Crafts Gothic influence statement, for collection, display, re-purposing, etc. smoke/pet free home. I am pleased to offer this VINTAGE ART DECO CAST IRON CANE STAND OR UMBRELLA STAND I found digging around a barn that had fallen down over 40 years ago. I am selling it in"as found" condition which is still pretty spectacular. It is 42" tall and features a SEMI-NUDE figure with her arms outstretched holding an arc which is obviously the handle. She appears to be standing on a globe and her top is bare with a draped garmet flowing from her waist. This part is 9 1/2" tall. There are three prevelant interconnecting 4 3/4" cast circles in which the canes or umbrellas were place and smaller spaces too. This section is 12" across. The base is also cast with 10 pointed spears in cast which secures the stand quite well and it is 10 1/2" in diameter. There is a screw under the world and under the rings which could ... moreadjust it and the base could be screwed off too. I'm am leaving it all the way that I found it. It has overall rust. But there are no breaks which is amazing. It needs a good wire brushing and oiling to bring it back to life. True Victorian era carved wood wall pocket(umbrella holder) with two carved birds at the top sides also embellished with carved oak leaves throughout. It measures 15" wide at the top and 25" high. As above mentioned. There is a portion of the oak-leaf gone at the lower left as reflected in photo 5 and other pics. Also, there are some old mends. this is still a solid strong piece and, though I am sure will probably to be used as a small umbrella holder, it is still functional as one.
