It has a simulated metal cap on the front. It is nice and straight. The only thing I see wrong with it is that the back of the side pieces has a support brace missing on the left hand bracket, but other than that it is nice. We will detail out the cracked panel and make sure it is tight and sturdy prior to shipping. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 17 inches deep on the base, 21 inches high to the marble, and 98 inches high to the top. It has the original cast iron drip pans, umbrella arms are intact, pegs are all intact and a fancy out cutout crest top with a tombstone mirror below. The mirror appears to be original and in good condition as well. The overall size is 42 inches wide at the widest point, 17.5 inches deep at the deepest point, 31 inches high to the marble top and 88 inches high overall. The size of the looking glass is 15 inches by 24 inches. The dove tail drawer has had a knob replaced, but I didn’t even notice it at first. It is in really nice original condition. If you remove the bottom round onyx piece you will see an underlying brass design(see third and forth photos) which explains why these are usually lost. Really a graceful design. I't as good as it gets in antique furniture. There's no damage, no repairs. It's in wonderful original condition with a great patina. The marble is in great shape as well. Thereare 2 very minor super ficial nics on the edge. They can barely be fet to the touch. There shown in the pics and hardly visible. I don't sell suprises. So while they're minor issues, I mention them. I'll estimate this piece around the turn of the 20th century in age. The stand is 30" high. It's 12 1/2" at the widest bend in the legs. It could be used for a myriad of things. It is carved from Fruitwood and has three shelves. Each shelf is beautifully decorated in a pyrography technique and painted in vibrant colors. The top shelf is decorated with a house and a windmill under a large tree and vibrant greenery surrounding the house. There are several sprigs with flowers and leaves- also in different hues of green and floral colors. There is a butterfly in the corner in vibrant colors and two bars swallows in flight approaching the cottage. The second shelf. Ie middle shelf is beautifully decorated with red and blue poppies and their green foliage. The ... morebottom shelf is decorated on it's almost entire surface with sprigs of different floral motifs, life daisies, zinnias, Indian Paint Brushes, etc. The stand is very heavy and carved from Fruitwood and is in good used condition. The beautiful patina of this really enriches it's presence. There is also a pearl like stencil decor around the periphery of the shelves. This a great looking etagere from the 1800s. It has four shelves and is made of oak. With brass accents and a mirror. Measures 52" tall x 17-1/2" wide x 12-1/2" deep. The stained and varnished scroll-sawed back is of plywood and does not appear to be original to the piece. It is nailed to the back edge of the shelves and could be removed. It is quite unusual to find embroidered upholstery that has been as well preserved as this in revived examples, and it brings an incredible amount of life to the chair. The arms are long and molded, with a soft cabriole form curving into intensely carved hand rests. Similarly molded arm supports rise to lock the arms in place, each arm flanking a broad tapestry upholstered seat of animal life amongst foliate designs. This ornate etagere would have been quite expensive to purchase, when it was new over some 100 or so years ago. I would imagine that very few could afford such a fine luxury as this, and not many were ever made. It does have numbers and some markings on the back. We are fairly certain that it was made out East, possibly New York, and around the 1880's- 1890's era. It is certainly well over a 100 years old! The casting in as nice as you will see, and they can not even come close in the newer reproductions they attempt to make. The quality and detain of this Victorian etagere is as nice as you could hope to find. It would be wonderful to display your prized Art Glass, large antique vases or what ever it is that you enjoy collecting. for sale is a very large quartersawn oak hall tree or hall bench with a mirror big enough to be called a pier mirror. it has very nice quartersawn flake throughout the entire piece. mirror is original and is beveled and shows a tiny big of silver loss and some smokiness. it has nice carvings at various places that can be seen. it has neat arms and arm supports that are very thick. Shaped, and has molding cuts. it has a large storage area under the seat. it is a very large hall tree, 88 inches tall, 16.5 inches deep, and 42 inches wide. all the carving is tight and intact, no missing pieces as far as i can tell. it is very solid and sturdy. it has not loose parts or pieces. it has a very nice contoured crest with a cut out in the center. the arm and arm supports are pegged into the hall tree. i hope the pictures are good enough to add to the ... moredescription. hall trees this size are not too plentiful and don't come up for sale often. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. if shipped i would recommend an antique mover due to the large mirror and large size. good luck.

This a great find from an estate we just acquired.It is an umbrella stand that has a cast iron base and shaft which has a ball representing the handle of an umbrella.The shaft is surrounded with hand sewn heavy leather crafted as 5 folds to hold umbrellas.It is 28.5" tall overall. Has a width of 14"across the top,and the cast iron base is 5" across.In researching this form I have found similar examples in decorated metal mostly recent vintage. I have not found a similar example. It has the plate that goes in bottom and that is pretty rare to find. According to the research I got on these. It says in book that these were made from 1883-1886 with this particular design, then they made a design almost identical around late 1800's that had a rabbit, then early 1900's they changed it to a duck instead of a rabbit, all 3 designs had the same large dog background. It has two canes held together by what looks to be a collar and a head of a whippet on one and a horse on the other. It has the number 12 on the dog tag. It is about 25" tall, 13 1/2" w and 8" deep. But it looks like a Fiske. It’s three cast iron pedestals joined together in the center and the iron base is a little cockeyed in the center, because walnut is a soft hardwood, which cause the top to be repositioned over the years. The table top itself has a cutout notch molding and a few little cracks, and little imperfections, and one of the little nubs is missing. The cast iron itself has not been repaired or altered, and is really quite unique. The overall size of the table top, which is solid black walnut with a beveled edge, is 20 inches wide, 14 inches deep, and 28 inches high. The width across the cast iron legs is 15 inches. This is an umbrella stand that has been inherited from my wife's parents. It looked great in our living room. But we since have down sized our abode and have to let a few things go. So, here it is. It is beautiful. A deep reddish brown color that did not come out of a can, it is the natural exotic teak wood valued for its fine natural grain. Antique bench/ umbrella stand that is a great size to fit into a small entry foyer or hallway. We bought this at an estate sale years ago in an exclusive neighborhood in Little Rock. AR, and no longer have space for it. Size is 32" wide by 34" high by 13.5" deep. We think the wood is oak. I do not know the age of the item as I'm not an antique expert. We paid about $200 for it at least 15 years ago, and just want to find it a new home. The wood is dry(it has been in our basement storage area for several years) tung oil will restore it nicely. It has a full one inch bevel around the mirror. There is carved egg and dart trim all around the mirror. Below the mirror is a shelf that is curved. Please look at the photos below to see the other special cravings. It is missing the molding on the left bottom side. This would look great in a jewelry/ clothing store. Or in the foyer to any large building or home. This was found in southern Iowa in a 100 year old clothing store, stored upstairs in what was originally a funeral parlor/ furniture store. One of the pegs with porcelain button is loose because the stamped tin washers on the back came off. It dates from the 1880s and measures 18” x 3 ½” wide x 3 5/8” deep closed. It can be opened to varying degrees depending on the size of your space and the appearance you want; fully extended it measures 48” long. This is a great estate find. This design is timeless. This is a hand made planter/plant stand. It is unsigned but on the bottom of the upper section is a pencil drawing. Maybe a preliminary design of this stand. The copper liner is missing. There are worm holes in the inner box. There are minor surface water stains on the inside but. No water damage. There is a small old repair on one leg. The stand is in very good condition for it's age. It has small scrapes, dings, and scratches. I wiped the dust but, did not do any other cleaning. Antique oak coat rack with 4 cast iron coat hooks. This coat rack has its original finish and original wood dowels threaded through the cast iron hooks. All four hooks are secured tightly to the oak board. The rack measures 25 1/2' X 3 1/4' The hooks protrude 6 3/4' from the rack. The top wood dowel is split at the end while the bottom dowel goes the entire length of the rack. Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Co. was a premier manufacturer of metal accessories from about 1852-1940's. These metal accessories for both the home and business. This cast iron plant stand is in the original found condition. A very high percentage of the original gold gilt paint is still present.
