Up for your consideration is this set of 4 mid-century. Wooden table legs. These wooden table legs are 20 1/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches across the top and taper down to 3/4 of an inch at the bottom. Included is 4 wooden table legs and 4 metal brackets to attach them to the table. The 4 legs are in good, solid condition, no gouges, cracks or repairs, but they have scuffs and wear marks from age and use, you may want to re-finish them. The metal tips are probably brass, but I have no way to ... moreknow for sure. They could probably be polished. Wooden table legs. These came off a coffee table with a lower shelf. Two of these wooden table legs are 14 1/2 inches long, and 2 are 6 1/2 inches long. All 4 are 1 3/4 inches across the top and taper down to 3/4 of an inch at the bottom. Included is 4 wooden table legs and 4 metal brackets to attach them to the table. The 4 legs are in good, solid condition, no gouges, cracks or repairs, but the stain has faded with age and the color ... moreis no longer consistant. They also have scuffs and wear marks. You may want to re-finish them. The metal tips are probably brass, but I have no way to know for sure. They could probably be polished. The metal brackets are all in great condition. We have for bids four Sherer drawer pulls from an old country store cabinet. They are iron and are just like they were taken off the cabinet drawers. Lot of 4 Mid Century Modern LAGCO, Couch Legs, Chair Legs, Walnut (?) 5" Tall
I'll be damned if I can recall how or why I have these. I am a MId Century modern lover. And must have seen these at a flea market in my early obsessed days. My guess is that these are walnut. The color and grain look like walnut, and walnut is one of the hardest woods, necessary for a chair or couch. The legs measure 5" tall exactly excluding the threaded screws. The threaded screws measure exactly 1" On the opposite end of the screwside. The tapered legs each have a metal tab on their bottom. The metal tab allows the couch or chair to slide on a hardwood floor, minimizing the scratching that would happen otherwise. Each leg varies in condition but they are mostly the same. Note that in picture#3, the leg shows the manufacturers name LAGCO. The good news is that if you are using these for a restoration. Antique replacement fiber chair bottoms up for auction. There are 2. Genuine antique replacements. Not sure on where or when they are made, definitely old. They are extremely hard, still slightly flexible, the surface shows some age, new owner could possibly paint and they would be like new. ridges in the pressed design are still crip even with damaged surface, its like the paint is missing. Bignall Medina NY Machine Age Industrial Deco Cast Iron Table Base Leg Old Paint
Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" Here is gorgeous antique cast iron table base or stand– it has a really great cross between Art Deco and Machine Age Industrial Steampunk designs. It also has some really fantastic old green paint on it. One side is marked MEDINA NY and the other side is marked BIGNALL CO. This stand or base stands 19 ¾” tall at the top rim and measures 8” across the bottom of the base. The circular top measures 13” across at the outside edges and 12 ½” across at the inside rim or shelf. One side of that inside shelf is marked 12 1/2. Each side has a graceful arched arm for supporting the top piece. The arches ... moreor support arms have a series of circular cutouts in graduated sizes. There is a small square nut sort of quick soldered or tacked in one of the smaller circles– it looks like it will pop right out with a bit of force and a screwdriver. But I left it there. The original owner must have modified it for some reason to suit his needs. It does not have anything to do with the structural integrity of the piece. The center post is attached to the stacked domed base. The top circular rim is attached with screws, nuts, and bolts- I took pictures of how the it is attached from underneath. There is no damage to this piece– no breaks. Cracks, or repairs. There is flaking and missing old green paint here and there with the original black paint showing through. The underside of the base has some rusting, but there are no areas of pitting or weakness in the metal. I gave this piece a quick wipe down with some warm water and a sponge and dried it completely– nothing else. This base will be a work of art– well, it already is. This is an old set of beautiful wing backed chair legs. The back two legs are plain but the front legs are beautiful claw feet with ornate carved design on upper portion and very neat looking claws around a ball design on bottom. These are two toned stained and the finish is worn. These could be stripped and restained to one's liking. Please view the photos carefully and email me with any questions you may have. The front legs measure 8& 1/2" tall not including the 1& 1/2" screw. The back feet measure 7& 1/2" tall and these have slide in rods that are almost 2" long. Dresser Drawer Pull Knob Handle 3 In. Ceramic or Plastic Button Insert Universal
One used drawer pull. Knob, handle, from a dresser. It says TAIWAN on the back. It is 5 inches in overall length. The 2 screws are 3 inches apart. On centers. There are no stripped sc rew threads. It is made of some kind of base metal with a thin brassy finish that is somewhat worn. In the center is an insert made of plastic or ceramic. This plastic or ceramic button insert is cream colored with brass-colored specks. This dresser handle has some scratches and shows cosmetic wear from years of use. Some of the brassy finish is worn away. But it is a perfectly functional solidly made, single replacement handle suitable for old-looking furniture. May need some clean-up to look its best. Antique Hand Carved Oak Wood Cabinet Door Ornate Thistle Arch Pattern Victorian Description: Up for sale is this estate rescued old door. It looks to be a door off of a cabinet of some kind. It measures 24 3/4" x 17 1/2" x 2" including the knob) As you can see from the photos this cabinet is carved by hand. The carving is rough and irregular but still beautiful in its intricacy! The pattern looks like it depicts a thistle plant inside of an arched design. You can also see that there are a couple of pieces missing from the design including one of the oval shaped designs in the top left and possibly two rectangle shaped pieces at the top of the columns below the arch. The knob also looks to have been hand carved. This door still has the original hinges which are rusted in place. The back of the door looks as though it had 2 cross ... morepieces which have been removed. The door does have some cracks developing in the bottom as you can see in the photos. All we have done to this door is give it a light cleaning to remove ages of dust. A very cool door that would make an impressive wall hanging or for your next project! Thank You! SET OF 4 ANTIQUE GLASS BALL & CAST CLAW FURNITURE FEET - CHAIR, TABLE, STOOL
These ball and claw feet were removed from an antique. Likely Victorian era, table but are the right diameter for a chair or stool. They are heavy cast metal and clear glass. The white on our photo is flash reflection. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The cast claws are in beautiful condition, of course not as polished(gold color) as they once were but likely they can be professional polished or plated. They measure 4" tall from the bottom of the glass, i.e. the floor, to the top. The top openings are about 3/4" in diameter. The fronts are lovely acanthus leaves with a hole in the back where one would put the screw to attache them firmly to the wooden furniture leg. Please ask any questions. WOW ! 3-Tiered Victorian Walnut Gothic Pediment - Fresh NY Barn Find!
Up for bid is a beautiful. Beautiful)note the second beautiful) top crest off a 1870's/1880's organ that was found in a barn in NY state and has not seen the light of day I would say in fifty or sixty years. This pediment has nice Eastlake spoon carvings, mutiple layers of molding and fret work, a finish that screams that it is old and a great Gothic/Eastlake feel. Pediment is ready for stain or if you like it shabby, paint. Pediment is 46" long x 12.75" tall and is a total of 8.5" deep. Chairs are 44" tall x 19" wide in the seat and 18" deep.
