Another one of my estate sale Relics. The hinges are estate fresh. And could use a detailed cleaning. The hinges are cast iron with a brass pin. The hinge on the rights pin is half way out and needs to be pounded back in. I put some water on the right hinge to bring out the details. The hinges would have been door hinges for a very old cabinet. They measure 2 1/2in tall x 3 1/2in wide, opened flat. These aren't trunk hinges, and would have gone on a door. Here is an excellent vintage set of 4 vertical cast iron claw feet from an old tub or stove. These cast iron claw feet have the number 0 on the back. These have a great shabby chic look/style great for a project. Whether you are restoring/repairing or using old parts on a new project these feet have a great patina and character to them. All painted a shabby. Chipping, crazing white with one only painted once(Darker than the rest) An excellent set for that restoration project! These legs are 6.5" tall 4.5" wide and 3.5" deep. 8 Old Vintage Rustic Turned Wood Furniture Pieces Posts Legs Wood Screws I had an opportunity to go down state Illinois recently for the homecoming of my Alma Mater and shopped the wonderful sales. Barn sales and antique shops along the way. I have a huge variety of oldees for you this week- from 19th century primitives to 1950s kitsch- there’s something for everyone! Here's a lot of 8 old turned wood furniture pieces- each one measures 15 1/16" long(not including the screws) Is 1 3/4" diameter on either end, and the ones that have a hole(not the a screw) have a hole that is 5/8" diameter. The threaded wood screws measure 1 1/4" long and about 1/2" diameter- they do fit well/screw into all of the open ends. There's 4 piece that have just a hole on either end(both ends- I have not pieces with a closed end) ... moreand 4 pieces that have a screw on one end and an open hole on the other. I do not know what type of wood this is, but as you can see from my photos, the finish is veryveryvery worn. You can also see what looks like finish drips on some of the pieces- see photos 13& 14. I'm showing in photo 15 that one has what looks to be a 2" paint oops on the side. Now, I have no idea if they were legs, or some type of post like on a bed( but as you can see from my 18th photo, I was able to screw all of them together to make one long piece(not sure that's what you are supposed to do- I was just curious) They are yours to do what you want with- aside from the finish issues, they are really in excellent solid and sturdy condition. There's minor wood dings, scratches, nicks and scrapes- but no major structural issues that I can find. Enjoy! Please ask if you have any questions. This is 4 matching cast iron ball and claw feet that have been painted a soft gloss white. They measure about 7.5" tall and about 5.5" wide. They are probably off a tub. But could be from a stove, I am not sure. They would look great on a piece of furniture! One of these has a chip off one side, but certainly could be used on the back side so it wouldn't show. Lot of Antique Vintage New Furniture Casters and Plugs
Lot of 37 assorted Furniture Casters and group of inserts/plugs. Some of the casters have plugs and others do not. Group of separate plugs may take care of these. The older ones are both wood and metal wheels. A couple of metal ones have ball bearings. All work freely. The wooden ones do not appear to have any flat spots and cores are not worn. The top left caster(off white plastic) actually has a set of 4 but 3 were omitted from the picture but are included in the count of 37. The 2 right side sets of 4 are brand new with the black plastic set including plugs and the brass finished set including mounting screws. We have attempted to accurately describe this offering. Walnut Eastlake Cabinet Door / Panel
Up for auction is one very sweet wooden frame I would estimate was made in the 1880's-1890's. This frame is a very large 46" tall x 34" wide at the bottom x 39.25" wide at the topx 2.25" deep. Frame is in excellent condition except for a piece of rail that has been damaged. This is easily replaced and made perfect again. This frame is very tight. And I know how it will look against a painted wall or over a mantel as a mantel mirror, or as a large bathroom or entrance mirror. You will not find another on Ebay, it's very unique.
