This piece is a flip-top style machine that sits inside the cabinet and lifts out when you pull open the lid. The cabinet features four drawers and one small flip out compartment. The drawers have a variety of threads and sewing accessories included. The cabinet is a beautiful oak with a really nice patina on it, and really interesting ornate drawer handles. This is a brass cover for a heat vent that came out of a more than 100 year old home in Ireland. There is a marking of a"Crown" over a capital letter"A" on the front center square. Description Set of 4 antique cast iron and glass claw and ball feet. They are 6" tall with 3" diameter glass balls. The hole at the top is 1 3/8" at the widest and tapers smaller. Three have no cracks or big chips. One has a chip under the face and along the edge of the metal. See photo) Looks like it was factory flaw. Has air pocket in the chip. Very old chip and not very noticeable because of the jaw of the face over it. The feet fit a stand parlor type table from the turn of the century era. Vtg Mid Century Modern Wood Tapered Pencil Coffee Table Legs Mounting Brackets
I found th ese table legs at an estate sale(I removed them f rom a table I purchased that was from the 1950s) They had a couple layers of paint on them(not original) s o I stripped them to the wood(they could use a little more sanding before staining) The metal end caps were al so painted so I sanded them down. T he tip ends still s how a little rust. Two of these sl ip off easily and the other two will come off with a tug. I didn't want to glue or tack these on so that the new owner can slip them off to stain the legs and repaint the tips too. The top ends have the mounting screws( a litt le rust. But very st urdy) and the mo unting brackets are also included. The brackets had some paint and rust which I attemp ted to sand off some to show they are still solid and sturdy. There is still quite a bit of rust on the back. But that will ... morebe underneath and wont show. These are the brackets that will give an outward tilt to the legs. Not just straight up and down mount. These are definately vintage legs, not reproductions, and are solid wood! There are a few dents and still a little paint do wn in the grain in some are as. Not perfect. But good solid legs! these measure about 13.25" end to end not including the mounting screw. The bracket will add another 3/8-1/2" the y are about 1 3/8" wide at the top and taper to about 5/8" these will cost me at least $10-12 to ship. I a m offering f ree shipping. But just so you know. Here is a nice unusual antique Cast Iron seat pedestal base. Great industrial look to it. Refer to the pictures for finish condition. They could be easily cleaned up and painted or left as is to really show their age. The base is approx. 9.5" in diameter. Height adjusts from approx. 10" at lowest to approx. 15" at highest. The top mount is approx. 9.5" X 11.5" The seat back pieces are approx. 12.5" I can see this as the center base for a long bench. With two of the pedestal bases I have for sale as the ends. Here is a nice antique Mult-Adjustable Cast Iron Pedestal base. Great industrial look to it. Refer to the pictures for finish condition. This could be easily cleaned up and painted or left as is to really show the age. The base is approx. 8" in diameter. Height adjusts from approx. 8.5" at lowest to 12.5" at highest. Architectural Salvage Reclaimed Songboard Circa 1900's w/ carved leather inlay
Up for auction is this beautiful salvaged architectural fragment salvaged from an antique organ with cabinet. This is the piece that held sheet music. Solid wood with original patina/finish and hardware with hand carved details and amazing leather inlay printed with a lovely colored floral pattern. I think this is from the early 1900's due to it's stye details. Measures 18 3/4" by 10 1/2" by 2 1/8" it is in excellent vintage condition and is truly a one of a kind. Industrial CAST IRON LEGS Stand Base Table Workbench Work Bench Vintage
joe calcite INDUSTRIAL CAST IRON WORKBENCH/ TABLE LEGS This offering is for a set of vintage or antique cast iron table or workbench(work bench) legs. These are very heavy duty.carrying an eight foot work top when found. They have a notch built in to hold a stretcher/ reinforcing board. The top piece has a built in 1.5" step up from front to back. As well as a brace for a backsplash. There are no maker's or foundry marks that I found. The rust is very light and much of it is'flash' rust caused by all the rain and moisture in the last weeks. No cracks were found. One small chip on one foot can be seen in photo 11. There is some reddish paint on the front of one leg. The height from the floor to the lower brace is 9" To the top of the front section is 30.5" to the top of the rear section is 31" to the top of ... morethe backsplash brace is 37" On the top, the front/lower section is 13.5" deep, and the rear/upper section is 15.5" deep. The usable space between the front and back legs, for a shelf for instance, is 15" The distance from the back of the splash brace to the front lip is 30.5" Distance between the outer edges of the front and back feet is 24" Each leg weighs just under 60 pounds.
