The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Antique quarter sawn oak index card file cabinet by Library Bureau Solemakers. Circa 1890. The six drawer file cabinet has solid brass pulls and maker's label. The drawers and cabinet are constructed with handcut dovetails. The back of the cabinet has an inset panel. The cabinet measures about 13 1/2" deep x 12 1/2" wide x 11 1/2" tall. The file cabinet has been restored. The original shellac finish has been re-applied by hand. All brass was removed and polished and the drawer runners have been waxed. The cabinet is in very good used antique condition. No problems found, only normal signs of light use. The rods for each of the drawers are not present. Up for auction is a Antique 1873 Tiger Oak Piano stool.Made in Rochester NY by George W. Archer This tiger oak stool has the Eagle Talon claw and glass ball feet. This is a very solid stool. I got it at a Estate sale. She was 94 Years young and was going to a family members house to live out the rest of her years. Comes from a non smoking home. It was very well taken care of as you can see by the pictures. She got it from her Aunt and I got it from her. So I'm only the 3rd owner. This stool is still in beautiful condition. Darling antique vintage filing cabinet. This dates back to the early 20's maybe even earlier. I have only seen one other like this. Its very unique. Tiger Oak wood. Measures 28" h by 17.5x18.5. 2 drawers that open/ pull down and each has 2 filing slots in each drawer. Metal inside the drawers. This is very unusual and very cool. Once you pull the draws down the green file part actually expands a little bit. This is a very cool piece. Would make a great little side table in an office. Antique wooden file cabinet, quartersawn/tiger oak, mission style
This is an antique quartersawn(tiger) oak filing cabinet with three drawers. Nearly 50" tall. The drawers slide without sticking and the cabinet is quite sturdy; however, the finish is scratched and worn. The inside of the top drawer has a chip that is not visible from the outside. It has been kept indoors(in use) in a smoke-free home. There are no dust guards between the drawers, and the drawer bottoms are open in the center. The lowest drawer has a wooden file divider, but there are no rails for hanging folders. It has the original hardware, which looks like antique brass, somewhat worn. RARE Small TOMAHAWK Tiger Oak 1880-1910
This is an auction for an old and rare smaller tomahawk. This was obtained from a reputable auction house and their description read: This lot features a smaller Tomahawk that was hand forged and made by the Cheyenne Native Americans and is also a Peace Pipe. This has a bowl on the back side of the blade that leads to to the end of the shaft. This piece is very well made and is from the 1880-1910. The head is hand forged and features an iron forged head with an overlaid brass design and is very well made. The staff is a Tiger Oak with leaded pipe stem. The dimensions are 6 1/8" x 2 1/8" head and overall length of the piece is 11 7/8" with a 7/8" bowl opening. The tomahawk seems to have been used and still draws. It is a neat piece! This old 18 or 1900's Antique National Credit Slip Box is made of tiger oak with brass hinges and latches and it's in a nice sturdy condition. The original label on the inside is from the National Cash Register Co. which made this box for store owners to organize their Customers lines of credit. It would have had dividers and envelopes. Rare Antique Mission, Arts and Crafts Tiger Oak Crossback Cross Back Chair
This very rare mission tiger oak chair. I would say, is from the late 1800's to the very early 1900's. This is the oldest crossback chair I have ever seen. The measurements are: Total height 36" the top of the back of the chair is 16" wide, the front seat of the chair is 18" wide, the seat of the chair is 17 1/8" in depth, the width of the seat in the back is 16" the height to the seat of the chair from the floor is 17 5/8" the rear of the chair to the top of the seat is 17" the chair leg diameter is 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 thick. Also, the stretchers appear to be hand hewn on the tops. This is a very heavy, solid chair. This is sold as attic found and ready to be refinished the way you wish it to be for your home- I will also entertain offers-

Original MINNESOTA Treadle Sewing Machine in Tiger Oak Cabinet - early 1900's
This is a very nice Antique Minnesota treadle sewing machine. All original. From the early 1900s. It was my grandmother's who. I believe, bought it from Sears when she was young. It has been in my parents' basement for many years until they moved this spring, now it's in storage and needs to find a new home. The sewing machine is enclosed in an oak cabinet when not in use. I believe it's called a"Tiger Oak" style cabinet. Please refer to photos to see it in open and closed positions. I was only able to take a few photos on the way to storage. Please let them be your guide as to the aesthetic condition. Overall. It's very nice with minimal wear/ corrosion. It should be able to be restored to excellent condition with a minimal amount of work. Size: When closed the cabinet measures around 23" wide. 18" ... moredeep and 30" or so tall. Condition: The belt has broken from age but aside from this. I believe this machine is still in working condition. The wheels and mechanisms all moved when I tried to move them; nothing was frozen. A couple of the wood trim pieces were missing(see photos) Aside from this, there was only a little superficial delamination of the wood in a couple spots; nothing which could not be fixed in capable hands. The short rise of the legs(Photo#3) above the Rush hand woven seat(Photo#2) gives it that distinctive Mission Oak look. All restored and refinished using a mix of 1\2 Minwax Early American and 1\2 Minwax Golden Oak stains gives it a rich light to medium color oak and a professional smooth spray finish with a mix of Furniture Lacquer& Polyurethane. Really nice antique Tiger Oak Desk available for pick up in Newport. RI. This desk is SOLID. I brought it with me from California and have decided to replace my office desk. It's got repairs, scratches, dents, etc. missing the original desk lock and could use some reinforcement on the drawers. This is a very nice quality card cabinet and is made from tiger oak. It is missing it's handles as you can see in the pictures but does have some of the label holders above where the handles go. The cabinet is a dark stained tiger oak. The cabinet is in good shape for it's age and has a few nicks. Dings and scrapes on it as well as a stain on the top left side as you can see in the pictures. Each drawer has a little wooden slide to hold the cards. On the slides it says"THE GLOBE CARD INDEX FILE" and"Patented Aril 13th, 1897, Nov. 21st, 1899 and May 22nd, 1900" We're not sure of the age of this item but we'd bet that this dates from the very early 1900's. It's ... morein great shape for an item of it's age but it does need to be cleaned. The cabinet measures 20.5" W x 17" D x 14.24" H. The inside of the drawers will hold a 3" x 5" card horizontally. 1820s tiger oak buffet
This buffet was built in France circa 1820. It is in perfect condition. The drawers are dove tailed and not loose. They slide in and out. The doors are un cracked and do not sag or rub. The three beveled mirrors are un scratched and in perfect condition. All the finials are original and not cracked. There are no water mark or rings on the top or on serving shelf. This is a superb example of fine 17 century furniture.

This auction is for an INTERNATIONAL TIME RECORDING Master Bell Ringer CLOCK. Made in Endicott. NY, this has been in a gentleman's collection for the past 45 years. It stands 63" tall, 21" wide and is about 9" deep. The case has it's original finish and is made of quarter-sawn tiger oak. Very heavy, it takes two people to carry safely. It appears to be complete and shows no signs of damage. I assume it uses electricity to run as there is no way to wind it and thus no way to test it's operation. A four~ bell schedule matching clock recently sold on eBay for $2979.00 and I used some of the knowledge found on that listing to give the data below: This clock was made to ring bells on a schedule. Antique Treadle Sew. Mach. Tiger Oak 4 Drawers/Frames Primitive Box Repurpose
WELCOME TO MY AUCTION! This is a wonderful Antique Pair of Treadle Sewing Machine Drawers and Right and Left Frames. They are beautifully carved with wonderful detail. Tiger Oak with carving on the fronts of the 4 drawers and on one side of each of the four drawers. Which would have been originally the outside of the sewing machine. All the drawers have a brass handle. Marked Standard S.M. Co. The handles turn to secure the drawers in the frames. As you turn the handle. A metal piece comes down to keep the drawer"locked" in place. Each drawer is 13" long out of the frame. When the drawers are inside the frame~ 14 3/4" long x 10 1/2" tall. They are so much prettier than my bad photos show. There is the usual antique wear. A couple very minor chips and marks in the wood. Really very nice for it's old age. MINT claw foot tiger oak cylinder record cabinet & 195 original cylinders edison
I am new at listing on this site so bear with me as I want to make my auctions as perfect as possible and my buyers to be equally as pleased with their items. Thank you! This is a pristine antique cylinder record cabinet from an estate that had some incredible and well preserved antiques. I have never had an antique as nice and as well kept as this cabinet. First of all it does not come with the Amberola 50 phonograph that is on the top of it. They were purchased together more than 90 years ago and both are equally as perfect. I will be selling the Amberola 50 within another week or two and in the auction I will mention that they originally came together. The cylinders are all original to the estate from where they came. I have been tempted to sell the cylinders separately but I honestly do not feel right about breaking up the set. I also ... moredo not have the time to devote to such an undertaking. I have not gone through all of the cylinders and cleaned them meticulously as they probably should be. They look to me to be in reasonably good and playable condition for the most part.There are some good titles from what I have looked at. Some are comedy. Bands, instrumentals, choruses, and many other types of recordings. A small number of the little cardboard cones that hold the cylinders are missing, as you can see by the pics, and in those places loose cardboard record sleeves are set in to protect the cylinders. I do not believe that it would be difficult to replace these cardboard cones but I will not undertake such a project. I have posted photos of each drawer to give the buyer an idea of the contents. The drawers, sides, back, and top of the cabinet as well as all four claw feet look to be exquisite. The price is firm and I will not end the auction early. Dresser with large tilting mirror and over sized washstand. The carvings on each piece are in the art nouveau style. Please look closely at the photos, the carving is just great(even carving the feet of each piece) Original brass over copper hardware adorns the washstand and dresser fronts. The brown and white marble tops are in excellent condition~no cracks or stains. There is a key and the locks work nicely. The over sized washstand would make a great TV stand. This is a solid sound bedroom set ready to use and enjoy. The bed does show a repair to one side. Photo 10, it is solid and sturdy and will not be noticeable with the mattress and springs ... morein place. The beveled mirror does show some clouding, but not bad enough to replace, in my opinion.
