It is in the medium dark oak stain. You can see a couple of stains on the top where plant pots sat at one time. The china closet shows normal nicks, dings and scratches from normal use. It has two curved drawers on each side of the table. The drawers are 22.5 inches wide, 20 inches deep and approximately 3inches high. We took the top into the restoration shop to scuff it down and re-spray it to bring out the gorgeous grains used. There are still some minor nicks and dings that can barely be seen through the finish. The table has five pyramid shape pillars with a large shoe foot platform base that gives a lot of style and stability. It has a molded edge on the oval shape skirt.

Antique Tiger Oak 1-Drawer Desk/Table with Brass Pulls
This is a beautiful little tiger oak mission-style table I bought at a local estate sale last summer. It doesn't quite fit in the place I was hoping it would. And that is why I am offering it up for auction. It Measures 29" high x 29" wide x 21 1/2" deep. It is a sweet little table that had been in one family throughout its history according to the lady I bought it from. It does have its character flaws(which just adds to its charm! The dove-tailed drawer features the original brass(I think) pulls, but it is broken. The back of the drawer is completely gone and one side of it is cracked toward the back. It looks to me like it was dropped on a corner. The top is a solid piece of wood, and has a slight warp to it. The finish is in good condition, and there are a couple of small dings to the legs. The antique bed from the early 1900s is still beautiful and features stunning acanthus leaf ornamentation. Fabulous molded arched crest and absolutly amazing festoon wich consist of foliate motif with a beautiful garland. There are some minor repairs on the interior side of footboard(see photo#8) and discoloration on the slat due to age. There is also small piece of wood is missing on the left foot. This fabulous antique showcase was patented in 19 05 by the Grand Rapids Showcase company. It is seriously constructed of tiger oak and has the or iginal wavy glass. The one pictured was part of a seri es of twelve matching cabinets that were connected side by side next to each other. Hence the sides are open since they are butted up to the side of the one next to it. The one in the first several pictures has the side panels. The rest are as the on in the last four pictures with no sides. Nice vintage oak paneling or glass can be added to the sides if you would l ike to use one as an individual unit. The glass door of each opens out and s lides into the cabinet on the right hand side. Much like a folding door. The back of each cabinet is bead board with the original finish. Great patina! There are two clothing ra cks in each of these cabinets. ... moreO ne at the top and one half way up. Each of the ra cks is solid cast br onze with ni ckel plate. With just a few light scratches, mostly on the bottom. Rare 1910's Antique Singer Treadle Tiger Oak Sewing Machine 6 Drawers Cabinet. This was actually from my great grandmothers sewing machine. After she passed my uncle took the drawers and put them together with a board on top and bottom to make one piece. The boards are put on with simple nails and should be easy enough to get out if you wish to take them apart. It does have minor scratches and scuffs from age and wear. One of the bottom corners has a little more wear then the rest. The insides of the drawers are in good condition. The drawers slide in and out easily. This is tiger oak and is very solid. It is from a singer sewing machine. Which I believe my mother still has. It is heavy and weighs 21 pounds before packing. It is a beautiful piece! The quality of the carvings is absolutely awesome. The acanthus adorned Lions(Griffins) along the top row of drawers are hauntingly lifelike as Horner was renowned for in all his work. The tiger oak is'top of the line' Of course. All the middle drawers. Doors and bottom FULL WIDTH DRAWER still have their locks and keyhole covers. It appears that one of the early owners wanted to hang a very large painting above this sideboard ... morerather than the mirror that might have been part of the piece. I'm sure this situation was quite common. They also either special ordered the piece with no feet or removed them to make room on the wall for a very tall and wide canvas! We decided to keep this rare find as original as we found it. If desired. Antique Tiger Oak Fireplace Mantel Bookcase type 100 years old
Here’s one beautiful fireplace mantle which was removed from a home in Pittsburgh Pa. This old tiger oak mantle is in good vintage condition. It measures approximately 77” x 60” x 15 1/2" HxWxD) The fireplace or firebox opening measures approximately 41 1/2” x 38” H x W) The two bookshelf openings measures approximately 28 1/2” x 17” x 8 1/2 deep(H x W x D) I belive this one may even date back more than 100 years ago. The flaws are minor.there is a crack in the one lower leg but it only shows up in the photo because I held it spread open. Because it can't be seen if pinched closed(time for wood glue is all) After studying this mantel it looks as if it may have had doors on it at one time.I could be wrong about that. But I do see four places that look as if hinges were mounted on the surface, I do see nail holes and Silhouettes from ... moresome type of fancy hardware and book shelves. It would be possible to add mirrors. English Antique Jacobean Style Tiger Oak Welsh Dresser / Hutch

Crafted in England c1950, Jacobean style, Tiger oak construction, Dovetailed joints, Disassembles for movement, Sturdy. Excellent condition, This lovely oak Welsh dresser was crafted in England around the year 1950. Today. The wood remains as beautiful as ever, with a lovely patina, a rich complexion, and a highly pronounced"tiger" oak grain. The design of this piece is distinctly Jacobean: the beaded edging, paneled doors, teardrop pulls, and hanging finials are all common design elements in Jacobean period furniture. Each drawer features ... moredovetailed joints, while the top simply lifts off of the base for easy movement. The two lower cabinets also lock with an accompany key; the locks continue to operate very smoothly. Remarkably, this dresser has sustained only the lightest, almost invisible surface wear, so overall condition is excellent. This dresser contains plenty of storage space. The sides look great. Shown here is the sturdy back. The top features five arches; shown here are the three in the center. Each side contains a vertical cabinet. There are two smaller cabinets in the base. The two drawers continue to operate very smoothly. Each drawer features dovetailed joints. These legs remain as sturdy as they are elegant. Have Questions?
