WALLINGFORD, CT. TREBLE PLATE” with the incused number“1876” which I believe is a date rather than a pattern number. The holders are amazingly intricate and I have included many pictures that show the detail better than I can describe it. The plating appears to be at least 95% to 98% intact The cutting on the 3 pieces is deep and precise and the geometric patterns are wonderful examples of the early craftsman’s art and abilities. The Creamer measures 2 ¾” across the top. 4 ¼” from spout to handle, 2 ¾” across the base of the holder and 5” tall to the top of the handle. The Spooner measures 3 ¼” across the top. 5 ½” from handle to handle, 3” across the base of the holder and 5 5/8” tall to the top of the handle. The Covered Sugar measures 4 3/8” across the top. 6 ½” from handle to handle, 3 ¼” across the base of the holder, 5 1/8” tall to the top of the handle and 6 ½” to the top of the finial. This lovely and rare TABLE LAMP is in the Pink Fernese chintz pattern. Featuring white ferns on a pink background, with handcoloured butterflies in shades of blue, yellow and pink. The pattern was introduced by Royal Winton Grimwades in 1925. There are several colourways, with dark blue being the most common, but also light blue, green and pink. The pink is quite rare. The lamp is in working order, and good condition with no chips or cracks or restoration. It stands approx. 25" high to the top of the finial, and is approx. 5-1/2" wide at the widest point. It is mounted on a four footed base of metal, molded in the form of leaves. The base is not balanced properly, and one foot sits up in the air- it needs a block under the one leg. This lamp was made by Fenton in either the 1950s or 1960s. The lamp is about 22" tall to the top of the harp and about 12 1/2" tall to the top of the glass. The lamp sits on a marble base and is wired. Which looks to be original. Note: I do not recommend using any vintage lamp with the existing wiring. I strongly recommend rewiring any vintage lamp before using. I do not know the quality of the wiring and would not use them in my own home without rewiring first. Northwood #21 Flute marigold carnival glass table set SCARCE
Up for auction is a SCARCE table set in the#21 Flute pattern by Northwood Glass circa 1910. The color is iridized marigold. The table set is in very good condition. The butter dish has no damage to the base. There is a small 1/4" chip on the underside of the finial. The spooner has no damage. The bottom of the foot is a bit rough at the mold seam where the spooner was extracted from the mold. The creamer has no damage. There is a dimple on one of the edges on the side that resulted from the manufacturing process. See the picture for this area. I mention this area for completeness. The sugar lid has no damage. The sugar bowl has a small 1/8" flake off the edge of the rim and a 1/2" chip off the edge of one of the handles. In my opinion. It is this chip that is really the only"major" flaw of the table set) See the picture ... morefor this area. The glass is clear on all pieces. The iridization is excellent. All pieces are marked with the underlined N. According to David Doty's website on carnival glass( Very few Northwood Flute pieces come to market. The complete table set is very difficult to find. This set is in a pretty emerald green with gold trim. The trim on all 6 pieces is worn. All 4 base pieces are marked with the Northwood N in the circle. These are from the early 1900’s. The Butter dish has a couple of dings on the edge and the rime wear the lid sits has a couple. None of them major. It measures 8” across and is 1” deep. The lid is 3”deep and 5 ¼“ across. The lid is in very good shape. The lidded sugar bowl is great and the lid has no more than a rough spot or two on the inside ridge. The bowl is 3 ½“ tall and 4” across the opening and does not have the sawed edge. The open spooner or waste bowl? Is great condition. It is 3 ½” by 3 ½” The creamer has ... morea few rough spots or dings on the bottom edge. There is a crack along the front. I didn't notice it at first,it is hard to see from the outside, I felt it on the inside. It's about half way from top to bottom and is maybe 2 inches long. Rare E-bay Marketplace- Lighted Table Display. Was sold only at E-bay Live 2008 and not that many were made. Good used condition- it does work! It's 12 1/2 inches tall. And base is about 9 inches wide. There's a few pieces broken off- missing the very top to the train's smokestack on the top of the display(see picture 7) and there's one other piece missing(see the grass area in picture 8[last picture] See pictures for accurate description! Up for sale is this beautiful antique industrial railroad factory cart with heavy duty cast iron wheels and hardware. This cart has be completely restored- great decor and very functional repurposed as a coffee table. It measures 48" long(53" to metal) by 25 1/2" wide and 15" tall. The distressed wood has lot of character which is all original. The wood was lightly sanded. Stained with Minwax"Cherry" then sealed with two coats of spar urethane. The cast iron wheels and hardware were pressure washed then painted with two coats of rustoleum black. Ask if you have any questions and thank you for looking. It has rusty bell eyes and black felt ears. I have sewn on a crow to it's back. This was made from muslin, grunged and painted. I stitched the beak and have given it black glass bead eyes. This has a rusty bell attached to it's end. The sheep stands freely by rusty nail legs. I have stuck green moss on the sheep and under the crow ornie. I have embroidered the word'dream' and pip berries on the sheep. The sheep measures approximately 9" across and the crow ornie is approximately 6" long. Antique Stunning Ram / Goat Head Marble Top Wood End Table 1800's or earlier
This auction is for a magnificant antique wood table with hand carved wood rams head legs and a marble top. I do not know the age of the table but it is at least 3 generations old. It has to be at least from the 1800's and maybe the 1700's or earlier. It was my Great. Great, Great Grandmothers(3 greats) and I am not sure where she got it or how old it was when she got it. It has a nice marble top. The table is in very nice condition. The heads of the rams if you look at it very closely are ever so slightly different do to them being hand carved. The marble top being old mined marble is farly smooth but has soom slight roughness in places adding character to it. The table stands 31 1/4" tall and the top is about 14" in total diameter. As far as I can see, it does not have any markings indicating who made it. On very close ... moreinspection I see that at some point it looks like one rams head had broken but was securly and beautifully re-attached. In one of the pictures I point to that. The marble slides slightly in the frame when tiped. Certainly not a problem but wanted to mention it. It is however secure. This is a beautiful table and a beautiful piece. It deserves to be displayed in a high-end estate. This will be very well packaged when shipped and insured. I wil ship it through UPS.
