The tray measures 10 3/4" square. It has a Carved Wooden Pedestal. There is an adjustable cast Iron joint to adjust the angle of the tray. Cigars would be placed in the tray at angles to make an enticing display. The Base is weighted with cast Iron. The adjustment joint is marked Economy.

Antique Mid 1800s English Solid SATINWOOD Inlaid Marquetry Night Stand Table
This is an antique nightstand that is made of solid wood and appears to be satinwood. The stand has a drawer that is hand dovetailed in the front and the back. The dovedails are very fine and have an inscribed mark remaining from when the craftsman originally laid out his work. There is a finely inlaid checkered accent around the drawer front as well as the front of the legs. There is also an inlaid design in the center of the front door. The stand is topped with a piece of marble that measures 14" x 14-1/2" The marble is not cracked or chipped. But does show wear consistent with age. The stand measures 33-3/4" tall x 15-1/2" wide 14-3/4" deep. All of the wood is solid on the piece- there is no laminated wood or plywood. The screws in the brass hardware appear to be machine made and I estimate that the piece dates ... moreto the mid 1800's and was made in England. The piece overall is in excellent condition for its age. There is minimal wear consistent with age and some age cracks in the wood. The joints are tight and there do not appear to be any repairs to the piece. The back piece of wood on the stand does have a large crack as seen in the photos. For your consideration. Is a very nice and super heavy crystal, table lamp with cream color silk fabric shade. It is 33" tall from the base, to the top of the shade. The crystal part of the lamp measures 14" tall and approximately 7" wide at the widest point. The brass tone metal is 1" tall and 6 1/2" in d. I see loss of patina in the brass tone metal( you don't really notice it unless you closely inspect it) I still consider this lamp in Very Good, Working condition. I cleaned it the best I can. VINTAGE VERREYS 233 REGENT STREET LONDON ACRYLIC DESIGN TABLE DISH OR ASH TRAY?
I am offering what I speculate to be as a very rare vintage item with the theme being Verreys of 233 Regent street in London. The design appears to be an ash tray of the mid last century or some sort of nut dish from the restaurant or it's bar. I have to guess that this establishment is no longer open and that in it's day was a recognized restaurant on Regent street in London. The design is an enamel type inlay on an acrylic clear resin material. It is a unique pastel peach/pink shade with black design and then Verreys name in a deep red lettering. I think the 2nd world war era as the time frame but I am guessing as a response to the dress styles detailed in the graphic design. Offered for your bid is this incredibly beautiful Asian screen in black lacquer on wood. With mother of pearl inlaid irises and perfectly executed maki-e gold leaves and design areas. It is signed but I have not been able to determine who the signature belongs to. I have had this piece for a long time and always believed it was Japanese. Then it was suggested to me that it was Korean. I know there is someone out there who collects good Asian pieces who will know immediately. I would love to hear from you. The table screen is in four sections. The whole screen measures 24 inches in width and 12 inches in height. On the third and fourth sections that are little blips that appear to me to be broken lacquer bubbles but may be some sort of ding to the lacquer. They are surface blemishes and do not go down to bare wood. There are finger prints ... moreand smudges on the lacquer and it needs a good cleaning from someone who knows how to best handle this material. There is no damage in the form of chips.
