Offered is a great Primitve Style Candle stand table. I'm pretty sure it would be antique or at least old vintage. Its all wood and appears hand made. The center spindle and 4 legs look to be definately turned to create there shapes. There is wood threads on top and bottom of center post where it threads onto top and base. Very old style in its making. To me it has a bit of a colonial style. I'm not exactly sure of its wood type but the top looks to be a different type than the rest. Its a wonderful little table for primitive country decor. Its in nice condition with no cracks or repairs. Its finish shows some minor wear mainly to the top and there are scratches if you look on a angle that can be seen but these things are normal for its age and use that give the wonderful added charm, charactor and patina to the peice. This lamp was modified at some point to fit a 10" Aladdin white milk glass lamp shade(shown in photos) The shade has some small chips in several places along the bottom rim, but otherwise it's in good condition. The part that holds the glass shade could be removed so that you can use this lamp as originally made. The lamp appears to have it's original cord, but it's in working condition(I would recommend having an electrician check the cord at some point, or have it replaced) The lamp has a vintage. There are some blemishes and fading if you look closely. They were used and loved as they should be. They have very bright colors and wonderful scenes. I wiped them gently with a wet cloth. Vintage table clock/super nice design on case.
This is a vintage clock but not sure just how old. The outside case is very decorative with the design. The clock is run by battery could of been added later not sure. Its 12" high and the widest point is 8" It opens from the back and has metal feet. The door on the back needs a little latch to be put on. I think the face of the clock is plastic. A very cool piece of smoking paraphernalia made in 1908 and distributed at Garrads This item bares full hallmarks. This sterling silver combination ashtray& cigar cutter is still cool today for the avid smoking collector. Smoker, or collector of qwerk. The item was made in london. Now it is important that i point out there are a few dents arround the top rim of the bowl of ashtray. The clip mechanism is in full woking order and still holds tight and the cigar cutter moves back wards and forwards, i do not have any cigarillos to test it out as i do not smoke them. However the 3 different styles of cutter look like they would do the job. The is a strait cut option a v cut option and sort sort of hole poker as the third. a very well made cool piece. LARGE/HEAVY ANTIQUE HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER TABLE MATCH STRIKER - 1907 - 266g
Here we have a large sterling silver English hallmarked table match striker dating to the Edwardian era. Bears the makers mark'WMBJS' for Edward Barnard& Sons Ltd. The lion denoting sterling silver. The panther's head for London, and the date letter'm' for 1907. The piece measures 10.5 cms in diameter across the base. And 3.9 cms in diameter across the top rim. It stands 7.5 cms tall. Weighs 266g- please note that the base is weighted for stability. That said, the silver is of good gauge and that will account for the absence of the usual dings dents that thinner silver items suffer from. CONDITION As mentioned. The silver is in great shape and has obviously been well cared for. Polishing has left the hallmarks a little rubbed as per the pictures. There are minor surface imperfections to be expected. The base weighted ... morematerial has an area of loss. And appears to have been coloured black at some point in it's history. I think it probably was black and has just been tidied up. A very substantial and impressive piece of Edwardian silverware. And still fully functional. I have lots of interesting silver listed in my shop. Vintage Brass Glass table-top wall CURIO small Display Cabinet Case 3 shelves
This nice little curio cabinet measures approximately 8" tall. 5 1/4" wide, by 3 5/8" deep. The distance between shelves is 2 5/8" All of the glass is in great condition with no chips and glass. Please inspect photos for the brass. I have run across a lot of these and there is always soldered spots and other imperfections in the brass trim, and this does have some of that.
