The wood cabinet has a small chip along the upper right edge but otherwise is very clean and well cared for. The cloth speaker grill is intact as is the wiper dial. It has lost the e from the end of the Silvertone script logo but all the control knobs are in place on the front including the on/off/phono amp knob. Chinese Miniature Carved Rosewood Console Table - Apprentice Furniture Oriental
Lovely Oriental piece of furniture. An elaborate miniature chinese console table with three drawers. Measures 12.5cm high, 29.5cm long& 8cm deep. I was told when i purchased this that the wood is Dalbergia cochinchinensis which is a form of rosewood. The tradition of making these small sized pieces of furniture dates back many years to when apprentice pieces were made before the full size piece of furniture was then carved. For sale in this auction are the following: a Little Tikes dollhouse slide. A Little Tikes dollhouse desk, a Little Tikes dollhouse picnic table, and a Little Tikes dollhouse Cozy Coupe. They are all in good condition, but have been used, and have the signs of normal wear-and-tear. There are some crayon marks on them, but I am sure those will come off with some good scrubbing. There is also some slight discoloration on a few of the pieces, but this is also likely easily fixable with some good scrubbing. The Cozy Coupe has a crack in the plastic near the front and has a tiny piece missing by one of the wheels, but they are largely unnoticeable. Otherwise the pieces are in very good condition. Very warm patina, Appx 41 inches from base to the decorative tip in the harp, appx 30 inches from base to the lamp holder, and appx 22 inch tall from base to candle cup, and appx 8 inches wide candle tree, 5-1/2 inch wide base, a on/off switch on the side. This Period Sheraton Table stands 32 inches tall by 15 1/2 inches wide by 15 1/2 inches deep. It has a wonderful patina and looks just like. What a 200 year old table should look like in condition. The pulls are not original but they are old as can be seen by the ghosts of the original ones in the pictures. They look like circles around the pulls in the pics. There are expected imperfections in the finish and the wood, but it is all intact. I am sending it from a UPS store who will pack and ship it professionally. Commercial addresses with a way to remove the product from a freight truck are the cheapest to ship to. This bench was in the basement of a local estate. It is from one of the local machine tool shops. The main one(Jones& Lamson) having its roots going back to before 1859. This table has a super thick wooden top measuring 42" wide x 27" deep x 2" thick. It is made up of three planks that are bolted to the legs. They don't extend to the back edge of the legs. And the edge color of the plank at the back indicates to me that there was more to the top at one time. I think it was a backsplash or something similar. Note the notched area on the front right where a vise once was mounted. There is a single old drawer mounted underneath the top. It has a cool rack and gear ride system you can see from behind underneath. The legs are heavy enough to support serious loads. One side has wheels and the other side doesn't. Obviously for ease o
