This is your chance to ... moreown the most stylish Danish Modern style rocking chair out there! These rarely come up for sale and the last one on ebay was about 4 months ago and ended with a"reserve not met" at $1221. There are a few currently listed in the $2000-4000 range elsewhere. Unfortunately. Our new house doesn't have the space for it! This one is in very good vintage condition and has been reupholstered at some point in the past. The upholstery is in perfect condition with no tears/pulls/stains/smells and I'm pretty sure it's an expensive WOOL fabric. It features a geometric pattern in blue and yellow(the color mix makes it look greenish from a bit further back) The foam is still very soft which leads me to believe it was replaced when the chair was reupholstered. There are a few minor scuffs on the walnut base but they're barely noticeable. I don't think they're worth sanding/re-polying. The back measures 31 inches high from the ground. Seat width is 24 inches(28 inches outside of arms total) The depth of the chair is ~33 inches. While the rocker base measures 32 inches deep. The height to the top of the armrests measure 24 inches. Local pickup is preferred. But I can work with your shipping company of choice to get this to you. I know a lot of people use TSC Moving to ship furniture safely( Because of the value. It is structurally sound and in good condition without damage being in golden yellow finish with black rail trim. The black finish is lightly-dulled and there is some wear. The yellow finish is still mostly-intact and has great coloration. However, the original red color is visible under the yellow paint in small spots. This is guaranteed to be a depression era original chair and not a reproduction. The square-shaped nuts are still intact to the threaded screws and that nut style has not been used since ... morethe 1940s. The chair is 24-3/8" in complete back height with the seat measuring 11-1/4" in height. Seat area measures 12-3/4" x 12" It will need to be disassembled for shipment. ANTIQUE VINTAGE COUCH/ROCKING CHAIR W/ORNATE CARVED GOOSE NECK ARMS
This is an antique vintage couch and matching rocker that has ornate carved goose neck arms. This set is presently upholstered in a burgandy textured material. There are no holes or rips in the material. The set has never been refinished. I believe that this is mahogany wood. The feet appear to be carved animal feet and the goose neck arms are rolled. The couch measures 36-inches in height and 80-inches in length. The seating area is 64-inches wide and 21 7/8-inches deep. As seen in the pictures. This antique sofa has three cushions. The center arch is ornately carved. This set dates to the 1900-1950 age. The carved, curved backrest flows into the arms and slanting surface of the sofa. Both pieces show wear in the wooden frames, as seen in the pictures. This set has been in the same family for a number of years.

It is in great condition and would be perfect for a child up to about 5 or 6 in years. If your little darlings are like some I know. They won't be able to distroy this chair and you hand it down to all the siblings. It would also just be a great decorator or conversation piece. We found the frame in a barn and was restored at a Methodist run consignment/rummage/restoration store in Maine in the 1990's. Nice job! Condition: tight frame but cane seat was left out in covered porch one summer and has some weather stain. Caning is strong and has a nice country weave. This functional rocker has a slot to hang a blanket neatly. It adds comfort to your back and also displays your special baby blanket or lap quilt. Antique Wisconsin Chair Company Glider Rocker Rocking Chair
Up for bid is an antique wood glider rocker. This was made by the Wisconsin Chair Company. As shown by a sticker on the base of the chair. With my research. I can only tell that this chair was manufactured before 1954, when the Wisconsin Chair Co. stopped making chairs. I do not think it is as old as 1890s as this exact style was not in a catalog that I found online. I have included a few pictures of the PAT marking on the glider mechanism in case that helps you date the chair. This glider chair is in usable condition. But will need some refurbishing. You can sit in it and it glides just fine. I would suggest that the chair joints be screwed together more and some wood glue followed by clamping in a few places. The seat has been reupholstered, as evidenced by the nylon twine they used.
