For sale is a cool wooden piano or organ stool. It is 20 1/2" tall and the seat measures 14" in diameter. It has metal claw feet(they look like brass) which hold clear glass balls. It looks like it should adjust but I couldn't get the seat to rise and lower. I also couldn't find a maker's mark on it. It is made of a dark wood. This is an older small-sized piano stool. Perhaps for a child? on the underside, you can read H. Holtzman& Sons, Columbus, O. It has turned spindle legs and center section and has metal claw feet, each grasping a clear glass ball. The small seat has a 10" diameter and rests up from main section of the stool by about 6" It will not screw down any closer to the main section, but will screw upward a bit. I don't know if there is a problem or if it was specifically made this way. Stool is 2 ft. tall from floor to top of seat. It is 18" in diameter at the feet. I'm not sure what type of wood this stool was made from, might be walnut. A magnet sticks to the metal claw feet. Solid Wood Fluted Piano Stool -adjustable height (vintage/antique)
Solid wood(I'm pretty sure walnut) Fluted legs, adjustable height. It originally had velvet on top of the seat area and fringe trim. That portion was removed in the late 1970's. It has some pock marks from the upholstery tack removal and a couple of place that could really use the services of someone that is skilled in restoration or someone that is interested in adding back some velvet& trim. All in all, the stool is in remarkable condition.

You are bidding on a wonderful antique miniature adjustable piano stool. I assume this was made to be a child's version. Though some call them salesman samples. I believe the finish is original. It looks the same as the black finish on many old piano stools, but it is worn. The top or seat is worn the most, but there are signs of wear on the feet and the legs, as well. This tool is about 9 1/4" tall and can be raised to at least 10 1/2" The seat is 7" in diameter and at the widest part, the legs are 8 1/2" This piece is definitely very old. NOT a reproduction. The cross piece on one of the legs needs to be glued. The stool is quite sturdy when the seat is at the lowest, but becomes a little wobbly when the seat is raised, just like some of the adult sized stools. Gorgeous Viennese Enamel Piano Music/Jewelry Box with Piano Stool. The detail is gorgeous with finely painted scenes of courting couples. Maidens in lavish gowns, birds, a lamb and pastoral landscapes. With the top open, a lovely waltz plays. I believe there might be two different airs that play. The top must be opened wide to start the music, and then the top of the piano props open like a full sized grand piano would. The inside is lined with red velvet and can be used for petit jewelry. The frame is gilt metal with pierced edges that go to the enamel borders. When the top of the keyboard is open, black and white enamel keys are exposed. The piano stool also has lovely enameling. This measures about 13 inches square on the stool pad. Fully extended about 24 inches.fully down about 21 inches. This has been storage for many years. It is time to get rid of it. This would make a good restore job. The main structure of the stool pad is wooden. The main frame is cast iron. The legs are cast iron. The condition of this stool is good. There is a little gapping in the joints for the back panel of the chest which could be tightened but it is secure as it is- the hinge for the lid is a little loose- so sometimes it needs a second raise or drop in order for it to click into place- this could probably be adjusted- there is a little old glue we think on the left hand back hinge for the lid- there are a few old woodworm holes in the back panel,the fabric upholstery is in good condition in a very attractive warm cream/gold colour with patterned brocade design and a matching brocade trim around the outside beautiful piece both useful for storage and as a seat- don't miss it Measurements 21" tall 21" wide 15.5" deep inside measurements 14.75" tall to top of partitions. 12.5" front to back compartments from left to right- width measurements 5 3/4"5 1/4"6" Weight before packing: 9.5kg If you need more detailed information please contact us and we will always try to help Powered by

Beautiful antique oak adjustable swivel piano stool by Holtzman& Sons. Columbus, Ohio. The two-part wooden seat has been re-screwed, re-glued, old damaged area filled and stained and the whole thing was set and clamped. The cast iron claw feet have been de-rusted(mostly- there is still some small rust spots in pitted areas) and coated with a thin polyurethane protectant to insure another 100+ years of enjoyment. The glass balls in the feet are almost perfect- with the tiny bubbles still clearly visible in the glass, and only a few tiny nicks. Thank you for looking! I take great care to package these in bubble wrap so they arrive in the same condition as the pictures.legs are bolt on you will need wrenches to assemble. the stop is missing at this point I will try and dig one up before shipping when the legs are removed from these they become very flimsy. Selling this vintage piano stool- spins and adjusts height. Made of wood with cast iron feet. Item has been stripped and is a clean slate for your restoration ideas. Please see the photos for condition- small splits in the wood stem. Discoloration spots on seat, oxidation on metal, etc. Measures about 21 inches high at its lowest- top is about 12 7/8" wide. I am not sure if the height adjuster is working properly- it seems to have a limited range but I don't know if that's normal.
