This auction is for an antique piano stool made by"The Charles Parker Company" of Meriden CT. I am offering this item as found. Only dusted. There are some scratches, chips and scuffs the metal claws have previously been painted a gold color, some of the paint also goes onto the glass balls. This stool is adjustable and works. Two of the claws wiggle slightly. There are screws at each of them that look like might be where you could tighten them. The top looks like it's split. But looking at it closely it appears that it was 2 pieces of wood to produce it. I don't know much about antiques so look at the pictures closely and decide for yourself. Vintage Piano/Organ Swivel Adjustable Stool Nickle plated cast iron& wood legs
I have a organ stool that came from my mother-in-law. I really don't know a lot about it except what I can tell by looking at it. It is 20" at the low setting but swivels up to a bit over 23" The swivel works well. It has be upholstered in the past and can see the nail holes on the underside of the seat that shows where the cloth used to be. The legs look to be nickel covered and everything on it seems to be in great shape.

ANTIQUE PIANO/ORGAN- BALL CLAW FOOT- STOOL We acquired this antique stool and the piano that went with it about 45 years ago. This stool was old when we got it back in 1961. It was used by my children growing up and then by my grand-children after them. It was used but not abused. Overall this stool is in good working condition and could be used as is. The seat is about 14" in diameter. Extends from 19" to 22" Apparently the seat was bolted down through the top and then filled and stained(see pics) I am not sure of the wood type, but the stain is a rich mahagany that blends from light to dark on the seat, with the legs, etc. having a darker stain. Overall it is a nice antique with the normal wear expected on a piece of this age. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

This gorgeous old adjustable swivel seat piano bench was made in Chicago per the marking on the casting as seen in the photo. The seat has a couple of splits in the wood and the original finish has worn off to some degree. As it was sat on for many years. The brass claw and glass ball feet are also in fantastic condition although they need cleaned and tightened. The seat measures 14 5/8" across and sits(more or less) 20" from floor. I am unsure of its age and the type of hardwood that it is made from but it does have the traditional dark mahogany finish. this is a very nice three legged stool. Very unique style. the seat is adjustable for height by screwing in or out. the legs are cast iron with the shape of maybe a bird in them. the center is a very darkened wood. and the seat is wood based with a fabric cover and padded with a course material. the fabric looks as if it may have gotten wet at some point. Vintage Wood 3 Leg Piano Stool Stand Base Steel Braces Wooden Wheels Steampunk
This auction is for what looks like a vintage 3 legged piano stool/stand base made of oak with a steel tripod brace and wood wheels. Each leg is all one piece of wood with beautiful grain. The brace is rough steel pressed together with no welds. The wheels are made of wood with metal support casters. One wheel has a misshapen center hole. Being oval and not round. I believe this was simply a manufacturer's defect because there is no cracks in this wheel. All three wheels have a round exterior surface with no flat spots or cracks. It stands 13 1.2 inches high from the ground, and about 20 inches separate each wheel from the other in a straight line. The only flaw is that the six bolts and nuts holding the legs to the brace need to be tightened. I don't want to do it for fear of scratching up the metal(I've had incredibly bad luck ... morewith repairs like this) I don't know what else to say. Please see the pics above. The Eagle Claw feet were made by the A. Merriam Co. in So. Acton. Mass. There is very little original paint left. Two of the feet show effects of rust. One of the glass balls(Pic 9) shows a spot where a fracture almost occurred. The ball is still whole. The adjustment hardware is in very good condition and complete. This simple user dates from the 1830s-40s and simplified classical form with scrolled platform/feet and brass topped central column. It measures 20” tall(as pictured; it will rise another 4 inches with screw adjustment) x 15” across the feet and is crafted of tulip poplar and pine with mahogany crotch veneers. The stool is sturdy and it could uses some wedging/glue where the pillar attaches to the platform. You will note numerous old chips and losses on the feet and the top is a 1970s crimson velvet.
