Each drawer has the 1892 and 1894 patent date on them.The Library Bureau Sole Makers Company was in business from the early 1880s to about 1925.I guess the library in the 1890s had to be the only gateway to the world and the hands that were in these drawers.Very nice old patina and there are a few issues but not major and easily addressed and fixable with low expense.There is a piece along the right rear back panel which is not really visible from the front.A couple drawers have some cracks and one has a piece of the rear panel gone but every issue is repairable and I have not altered or repaired anything so you are dealing with the original item.No screws or glue added but it could use some skill to keep it original.There was tape used on the exterior over the years and those are the shadows you see in the photographs.The shadow of the ring on the top was put there by the original librarian so I had a place to put my coffee cup.It is a really cool piece and soundly built.Another 100 years is no problem with this guy. We believe this chaise lounge to have its original rich finish and the original casters intact on all four feet. This chaise lounge boasts of lovely blue velvet fabric that is skillfully button and tufted from head to toe with a pleated type band below the button and tufted top. The frame is executed in tiger oak and is a solid band of connecting carved acanthus leaves that totally surround the base. This chaise lounge rests on four heavily carved feet with the casters all intact. The carved details on this piece are positively beautiful! This lovely chaise lounge/ fainting sofa measures 77 inches long.27 inches high at the head-rest,18 inches ... morehigh at the foot, and is 28 inches wide and weighs approximately 75 lbs. HI, You are bidding on a antique oak wall phone that looks to have all of it's parts inside. Considering the age in very good condition. It has a date inside that is from the original tag from the manufacture which shows the number of the phone#1679 and date of May 20, 1908 which dates the phone to be 105 years old. I bought this phone from a well trusted antique dealer, a small husband& wife store, that I have done allot of business with over the years, I bought it about 15 years ago, the only flaw is on the ear piece where it looks like it's been repaired it screws on and off OK it was like that when I bought it, there is a picture to show. This item is a very old oak(1940's) telephone ringer box. Which is in excellent condition. On the front of the box it say, CHICAGO TELEPHONE SUPPLY COMPANY ELKHART, INDIANA. U.S.A. Both bells are intact. The crank is easy to turn and the bells do ring. The box opens and I took pictures of the inside. On the inside on shiny metal it says, CHICAGO TELEPHONE SUPPLY CO ELKHART, IND. U.S.A. This item is almost 12" long, 7 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" thick. IT IS VERY HEAVY. Antique ANSONIA Oak Gingerbread Kitchen Mantel Clock, 8 Day- Great Cond, Runs
Offered here is an antique oak gingerbread kitchen mantel clock by the Ansonia Clock Company of New York. Dating to about 1900. This clock features ornate carved solid oak wood. Nickel silver dial surround and pendulum, silvered design on the glass panel, a laminated paper label on tin dial pan and a coiled gong chime. The case is in wonderful original condition with very few marks. No dings, repairs, loose or missing pieces. The finish appears to be original. The glass panel is in excellent condition with only very slight loss in the top middle section. The movement is running well and chiming properly with a h alf hour strike and hour count on the coiled gong. It is an 8 day all brass movement and it is stamped with Ansonia Clock Company name and logo. Everything looks to be original and complete. It comes with the pendulum and key. Measurements ... moreare 22 3/4" tall x 14 1/2" wide x 5 1/8" deep. The face is 5" in diameter. This is a handsome clock in excellent condition that displays wonderfully. Victor Victrola VV-50 oak case portable phonograph. Serial#65451. Retains a beautiful original shellac finish. I just cleaned and waxed it. The nickelplate is excellent.look at the pictures. Retains all the original labels. Retains the salesman tag: Wm. E. Metzger-Detroit. Windsup smooth and plays completely through a 10" 78 r.p.m. record with power to spare. Smooth play and no thumping of the spring unwinding. The reproducer is the original Victrola#2 and is airtight and reproduces a loud and satisfactory sound. A VV-50 portable with a good airtight soundbox produces about the best quality sound of any portable phonograph. 2 little apologies to call out: small piece of veneer missing inside the phonograph to the left rear and by the lid hinge.very hard to notice. This is an antique coat. Glove and hat rack. I believe it is from the early 1900s. It is approximately 32" wide, 20" high and 9" deep. I think that the wood is oak. It is in good condition for its age. The metal brackets are intact and have just a little surface rust. The mirror is foggy due to age and the material that it is made of. RARE Deveau Oak Wall Phone WORKS! 101 YEARS OLD This is an antique that you can attach to your wall and connect to any wall jack in your home(wire included) and use as an extension. The wooden wall phone predates the candlestick(or desk stand) phones. About the time this Deveau was being made. Or perhaps shortly thereafter, the first desk phones were being introduced. The original inspection label is still affixed to the inside of the front lid and you can see it is stamped“APR 6. 1911” making this beautiful phone over a century old. On the outside it looks original. But it was reworked on the inside to make it functional and give it good sound. The original magneto was removed along with the original transmitter and receiver elements. These items were replaced by a modern network. Receiver and transmitter. The ringer and bells are original ... moreto the phone and look magnificent. They are wired to ring but I can’t get them to ring since we dropped our land line service(If somebody knows how you can get the bells to ring with Magic Jack. I’d like to know! It sounds like modern phone rather than like you are in a tin can as some old phones with original transmitters do. To attach the phone to your wall jack. You use the included wire. You just attach the red and green leads to the two original terminals on the bottom just as you would have done 100 years ago. You can shorten the wire as needed but it is approx. six feet long. If you need more you can make it or buy an extension at Walmart and just cut one end off. That’s how I made the one I’m including. I’m including all the original parts from the transmitter that were removed when the new transmitter was installed. You could put it pack to the original if you choose too but it would not work nearly as well if it works at all. This is a great antique that you can actually use. About 15 years ago I was introduced to Clay Seidel, one of the many radio collectors of South Jersey. Clay has collected and restored about every radio type known to man. While being shown the various radios that he has collected(with attendant AWA ribbons) over his 30-odd years of restoration, I spotted one that intrigued me for its simplicity and novelty. The set was a"keg" radio: a receiver built into a miniature whiskey cask. Clay stated that this was perhaps one of his rarest finds. Aside from his, he had seen only one other set of this type- in an antique shop, and the owner wouldn't sell it. Since then I have seen only one other- a ceramic design owned by a local friend, Frank Krantz. Clay's set intrigued me. With its brass bands, oak staves and spigot on one end, while radio tuning was on the other. I determined to look diligently for a similar unit. At that time I was sufficiently naive about radio collecting as to believe the unit would come my way in a year or two. My reasoning for this rash statement?

This is an antique oak wood picture frame. Hand made, that can stand alone or hang on the wall. There are four screws that hold the mounting securely on the back. Outside dimension of the frame is 5-7/8" x 6-7/8" Picture size with the glass cover is 4" x 6" Wood board under the glass is covered with fabric for holding the picture in place. Doves antique art print. From the painting by H. Vogler This print was a special supplement to the"Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News" Published May 1, 1897. This print was actually two pages in the supplement and was joined together. There is slight crease in center where this joining occurred. Frame is oak. Rails are 3" wide. This was in my custom framing shop and I asked an artist to paint a black edge around the edge that duplicated the scallops in the wood. The image is 13" x 18 1/2" A beaded black fillet surrounds the image. The mat is green suede. Wonderful piece. This came from my custom framing shop and art gallery that I closed last year. It had well over a $300. price tag on it.

Very solid, tight, NO separation/age shrinkage to the corners, some wear to the old original finish. It holds an old restrike of a bird's eye view of Boston. The print is in excellent antique condition with no stains or rips, does have some wrinkling. The face frame is about 4" across and measure approximately 23" x 27 1/2" outer dimensions, 16" x 20" inner dimensions.
