It ... morehas always been in my family. The oldest sibling of my father's family in 1914 or so was the 1st user of this chair. We don't have room for it any more. It measures 25 1/4" high. 21" long rocking legs, 14" long arms with a 12" square seat. The seat cover now is a green velour fabric. Originally there was a leather cover for the seat. Under the seat fabric is a newer piece of wood for its bottom. There is a crack in the back of the chair that is shown in the last photo which does not go all the way through to the front. Push button handle and wavy glass. Two adjustable shelves w/ the 8 original metal shelf support pins. Very good condition. Oak is undamaged and in clean condition. Sturdy w/out any looseness. Very minor wear to the dark fumed finish. Of course there are some minor issues.there is a seam separation on the top. And a slight offset seam at the top of the right slab side panel. Looking at it from the back, the plywood panel is rough along the right edge w/ some chipping and missing veneer(touched up) Some glue blocks under the base were missing and have been replaced. c1912-1917 L& JG Stickley#216 Even Armed Settle Mission Oak Original Finish Description c1912-1917 L& JG Stickley#216 Even Armed Settle Mission Oak Original Finish For your consideration is this wonderful antique L& JG Stickley#216 settle. It is marked with the L&JG Stickley mark. 216, and is circa 1912 to 1917. This settle has its original finish and original seat. The seat has new leather on it. This particular settle was from a Masonic Lodge and was purchased new(in about 1915) by the organization. It was never in the sun and never moved from its building, until I acquired it. I put some feed and wax on it and looked it over closely. There are some minor nicks and scratches to one of the sides of one of the back posts. There are a efw other very minor nicks and scratches, but no deep gouges or dings. One of the joints on ... moreone of the posts is separating(see pics) we added many pictures to show, what I believe to be. Exceptional condition. I have seen other pieces of Stickley and the condition of this settle(due to the nature of the original owning organization-only meeting at most in a weekly schedule) is the best that I have seen. The drop in spring seat is original(recovered) The covering had been redone some time in the past and I decided to put new leather on it. The leather is o ne piece. There was a small hole in the center of the large hide that was repaired(see pic) The settle itself is in original condition with no repairs. The settle measures 72" long by 36" high by 26" deep. Due to the nature and size of this item. There are no returns accepted. Please look it over before deciding or you may come and see it in person. I am willing to deliver this for an additional fee of $1.50 per mile up to 500 miles. I don't trust this to a freight company, but I am willing to get it ready for pick up(for a small fee and cost of materials) if you find a freight company that you will trust. It is 9 5/8" across 11 5/8" tall the molding is 1 1/2" wide and it would fit a picture 7 1/16" by 9 1/16" The frame shows some wear from use. A few bumps and scuffs, and a corner bump, and the wood is dry, it could use some oil or a polish.

Up for auction is a 1940's Eames Era electric clock in working condition. It features a mission oak cabinet. Roman numerals, a sweep second hand, a chrome frame around its face. And a 6' cord& plug. Antique Mission Quartersawn Oak Hale/Macey Barrister Bookcase
Great old barrister. All oak in original finish. Good patina. Some alligatoring on one shelf inside. Measures 34 1/2 wide. 12" deep and 45 1/2" tall. Bottom shelf is tallest at 14 1/4" and is labelled Macey 912. Top one carries a Hale label and is 10 1/2" tall. Center one is the same as top but is unsigned. I am certain it too is Hale. Bookcase is banded with what appears to be copper and a hammered/leopard appearance. The two top sections were scissored at one time. Hooks are there. Metal scissors are not. Glass doors do move properly despite this. All glass appears to be original. There is some warping of the wood panels in the back. Just a sign of age and has no affect on appearance or performance. This is a gorgeous arts& crafts era mission style desk or library desk. Solid quarter sawn oak construction. The back is open. It has turned spiral legs. A cane side. Fantastic Rare Arts & Crafts oak Hall chair SOC Limbert Stickley era Mission
I have only seen one other of these chairs in 22 years of collecting and dealing Arts& Crafts. I believe this is Shop of the Crafters. The original untouched fumed finish is 95+% and this has the original Oil cloth seat with the original hand wrought tacks. This is precisely how I got it from an estate today. There are a few minor things I want to mention for accuracy. There is a natural split on the bottom of the back foot, there was a split on one lobe of the side of the clover cutout on top and a small split on the side of the seat, all of which is easily fixable. Mission Oak Bookends Rare and Unusual
I have found these cool looking vintage mission oak bookends that showed two colonial figures. One is the picture of Ye Parson the other is Ye Beadle painted by James Hassall. He painted for many publications including Tuck. In the U.K. and America in the late 1800's to the 1900's. This set is rare and special from the early 1900's and the same form is found in The Craftsman Pittsfield Auction catalog from October 14th, 2000. This was lot#385 and went for $150 at the time. I will gladly furnish the winner a photocopy of the cover of the catalog, the page and the results from the sale. These are not easily found and are in very good condition as they stand ready to hold your favorite collection of books. There are no makers marks or attributions, however, similar pieces were often attributed to Stickley Brothers, as they did business ... morein England at the time. I make no assertions that the frames are theirs, just a possibility. They measure 17 1/2 inches long, 5 3/4 inches at widest point and 5 1/2 inches tall. This early 1900's oak bench is hard to find in this great condition. It is functional and can be used in many diffierent areas. It was last used as a waiting bench for a lawyer's office. The bench is in great condition being both sturdy and solid. The wear is appropiate and consistent with the age and use. There is a minor professional repair on each arm but no further repairs or damage are noted. It has a fine older finish with a nice patina. This unusual Mission Oak Telephone Bench has a cabinet with a cut corner door on the seat side and I believe a candlestick phone may have sat upon the cabinet and the phone ringer box would be inside of the cabinet. The Condition is Good/ Very Good Pre-owned with normal signs of use and wear with some small bumps. Abrasions and some finish loss. Condition Report Cabinet top has wear to finish. Is slightly uneven in the front with a ring and dark spot in the finish at the back, has a filled nail hole on the right side and a chip ... morein the back corner as pictured. Bench seat has wear to the finish. Some scrapes, and a couple rings in the finish. There is a water spot at the back near the cabinet door, a chip in front right seat corner as pictured, and the seat planks have some glue residue on the underside. We viewed the sales receipt from 1901 at the auction at this Masonic temple/Mason/Blue star lodge which was opened in the 1880's. This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. There are oak buttons that cover connection points and 10 are missing. I have not had a chance to replace them, but do have a bag of new oak buttons that will be included with the table.
