Condition: Used Location: Perkasie, United States American Black Painted Bowback Antique Windsor Chair Early 19th Century Item# 100008WPN02 This is a fine American Black Painted Antique Windsor Bowback ... moreSide Chair. Crafted during the first years of the 19th Century. It has a wonderful black paint over another layer of reddish orange, probably also a layer over the original and currently unknown color. The back of the chair has a graceful bow, carefully grasping each through-tenoned splinted spindle before diving through the single solid plank pine seat. The seat is heavily patinated, with deep grooves and wear from decades of active use. The entire chair sits over four splayed bamboo carved legs, all four of which tenon through the plank seat before being secured with a splint, each held firmly and perfectly in place with a bamboo carved H-stretcher. This is a most charming chair, in excellent condition with wonderful patina and character throughout- the early painted surfaces are probably not the original layers, but seem to protect earlier layers beneath, these quite possibly the earliest surfaces. A wonderful find for those that are passionate about fine windsor chairs. Measurements: Seat 13.5" wide x 14.5" deep. The seat sits 16" from the ground and the back of the seat is 33.5" high. Condition Report: Paint worn throughout. Probably not the original surfaces. Deep groves and losses in the plank seat. Chips and abrasions throughout. One nail, appears to be modern, on side of chair stabalizing hoop back. Plank seat split with a butterfly joint securing seat from beneath and two screws locking it in place. Chair is structurally strong, but could possibly be too weak to use functionally as a chair. Please review the images in the slideshow for a full overview of condition.

ITEM MEASUREMENTS This item measures about 41 1/2" tall. About 26 1/2" wide(arm to arm) and about 33 1/2" deep including the rockers. It measures about 15" from seat to ground. He was 96 when he passed and he got this desk from his parents estate in Spokane Wa. when they passed. It is made from solid oak and on the ends of the top board you can see that the top is tongue and grooved. Very hard to show in the pictures. I don't know tiger oak from quarter sawn oak so you be the judge. There is some what appears to be grey paint on one corner of the top. please see pictures. Someone drove 2 finish nails about 2' long into the top of one of the legs. One leg has a chip out of it at the bottom about the size of a quarter and another leg has a little grey paint at the bottom of one side. See pictures. I have made no attempt to repair. Clean or restore the finish on this desk, it is in the condition it was given me in. All in all this desk is in great vintage condition given its age. Top of desk 36 1/2" wide x 24 1/2" deep and the desk top is 29 1/2" above the floor. Will ship via Greyhound Bus to a station of your choice for you to pick up. I'm offering this L&JG Stickley armchair on rockers circa 1912- 1918. Bears"the work of" brand. Measures 35 1/2 inches tall by 26 1/4 inches wide at the arms. Original wood seat splined in the L&JG manner. Finish is a warm medium brown which is old or original. Similar in design to Gustavs number 365. Chair is tight and sturdy. Antique MISSION OAK Folksy Arts & Crafts UNIQUE 12 Sided TABLE Stand AS IS
This auction is for an antique most unusual MISSION. ARTS& CRAFTS, Victorian era side accent table. Here comes the story on the table. It sat in the corner of my grandparents summer cottage for all 70 years that they owned the cottage. It originally held a lamp that was an apothecary jar filled with marbles. I only mention that. Because my brother through a"Dick and Jane" book at me, and it broke the lamp, and the marbles went everywhere. Our butts were sore for the entire evening after that. When my family sold the cottage. I just had to have the table. I took it home, placed it in a corner with a huge fern on it until, I moved out of that house in 1988. When I was moving the table is the first time I ever noticed that one& half of the six legs were broken off. I was telling my mom about it, and she laughed and told me ... morethat I must be blind because the legs were gone since before I was born in 1947. She told me that was the reason it was in the corner for all those years. I can't believe I missed it. It never wobbled for me. And, as you can see, it stands straight when you have things placed on it. The top needs refinishing for sure. It has 12 sides to it. And a beading ball rim. The oak body has rounded off ridges running the length of the table. There are cut out diamond shapes around the table. If you can live with the unusual leg problem. And love things in a shabby condition, you could really love this true ARTS& CRAFTS little table. It can be used in many styles of home decor. Such as,Steampunk, Victorian, Arts& Crafts, Gothic, and if you dare to paint it, shabby and chic. It stands 19" tall Top is 14" It will ship Parcel Post or UPS whichever is cheaper I try at all times to represent my item fairly. And truthfully. Mission Oak Armchair with Padded Back
We are so happy to offer this mission oak armchair for your to consider. It has new leather and is just lovely. While we feel it may possibly be Stickley Brothers. But there is only a number"9033" in the frame under the seat no label or sticker. The reason we feel it may be them is the slatted seat foundation is the type they used almost exclusively. This may be a piece that is not in any catalog and therefore rather a rare find. Regardless the maker, we know it will be a family treasure. It measures 38 3/4 inches tall, 17 inches seat to floor, 27 1/2 inches to outside arm, 27 inches front to back at deepest, and seat is 20 wide by 22 deep, minus back cushion. It is in very good antique condition, with normal dings, minor wear and imperfections found in 100 year old pieces. There is a bit of checking or shrinkage on the interior ... moreleft front post facing the inside. It is stable and has most likely been there for years. It is not loose or something to be repaired, it was in the making of the chair the wood was not as dried as it should have been. This piece came from up north and the heaters dry out wood more there. It is minor and hardly a detraction, we just want to describe as best we can to be fair. It is sold"as is" and the description is accurate. We gladly answer any questions as well. Welcome to my auctions! Description: This is a fabulous antique arts and crafts/ mission library table. This library table was made by the Michigan Chair Company in the early 1900's. The table is made of solid quarter sawn oak and it has the original finish. The top of the table is thick and solid. It is 1 1/4 inches thick! The table features an unusual design with an oval top. Bookshelves underneath, slats on the sides, faceted wooden, decorative buttons along the legs and sides. The table is numbered 724 underneath. Size: 44 inches wide 28 inches deep 29 inches high Condition: This table is in excellent condition. It has the original finish. It has a couple of very. Mission/Arts & Crafts Quarter Sawn Oak Spice Rack
This spice rack. Handcrafted in the Arts and Crafts style, is a great addition for your Arts and Crafts decor. It is constructed with authentic wedged tenon joinery. The wedged tenon was used by Arts& Crafts designers of the late 19th century like Gustav Stickley who popularized the joint as a structural highlight on cabinets and bookcases. The rack measures 15-1/2 inches wide by 12-1/2 inches tall and 3 inches deep. The two rack shelves are 2 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches long. This spice rack fits neatly between standard upper and lower kitchen cabinets. I' ve purposely left out any mounting hardware so you can customize your in stallation. T he Finish. I use only the finest quarter sawn white oak from matched lots of raw lumber. The finish on this rack has been hand-applied and hand rubbed to a deep period authentic finish.

Mission style lamp base with a slag glass, octagon, oak frame shade. the shade is not original to the lamp, originally it would of had a square shade. it is 31" tall including the shade. the base is 20 1/2" tall X 21 1/2" across the arms. the leaded glas and green glass panels are intact except for 2 hairline cracks in 1 panel( see photos) the shade appears to made during the same time period as the base but the finish is just about all gone we will ship the lamp& shade in 2 boxes to insure safe delivery.

Original Arts and Crafts Period Mission Footstool This is an original Mission Footstool from the Stickley/Limbert period. This footstool is unsigned and in good condition. This footstool features rare tapered legs with through tenon construction. It is rock solid with no looseness. The oak legs do show some normal signs of use and age but look very nice overall. A Beautiful Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak Box or Casket of Good Size. With a Handbeaten Copper Relief Panel of Organic Foliate Design with Inset Mother of Pearl Leaves. This is a superb Arts and Crafts oak box or casket. The double curved section to the oak sides and lid complement very well the most beautiful handbeaten copper relief panel. Featuring an organic spray of leaves each of which is inlaid with mother of pearl. The box sits on four brass feet- these look to have had pads of rubber perhaps. Which are now lacking. I would date it to the late 19th Century. Ca 1895 The box measures of approx 37 x 19 x 8.3 cm. It is in good used condition with wear and marking in line with age and use- see pictures below. Description: This is a superb antique Stickley very large cube chair. It dates from the early 1900s Mission and Arts& Crafts period and is in excellent condition. The piece is made of superb quarter sawn oak with the original finish. The piece has an excellent cube form that is big and bulky with arms that are 1" thick. It features very large slats on the sides and back. The arms. Sides and posts have pinned through tenons. The chair has the Stickley Quaint plate underneath and the numbers 808 1/2 or 908 1/2 stenciled on the underside. The seat cushions are covered in leather or faux leather. This is a mission or arts and crafts period table. I'm not sure of the exact date. But likely very early 1900s. I believe it to be an American made piece. Appears to be quarter sawn oak with tiger oak grain top. Good condition overall, but needs glue/repair where lower shelf attachs to leg(see photo) Also has one light spot on top. This is a nice tall table that would work in many locations. One center drawer. This is a beautiful Raised Outline Navajo Weaving T his is a Mission Oak 2-Stack Bookcase. Made by the"F.E. Hale Manufacturing Co. Herkimer. New York) around 1910. The bookcase is made of solid quarter-sawn white oak, and features metal alignment bands on each section. The top section is 12" tall(9 1/2" usable inside) and the bottom sectionis 14" tall(11 1/2" inside) Overall the bookcase is 34" wide, 12" deep, and 40 1/2" tall. The bookcase is in excellent condition. And has been refinished with a warm, dark brown finish. The glass has been replaced, however the hardware is all original. Charles Limbert Quarter-Sawn Oak Rocker in very good condition. The chair measures 34" tall. 26 1/2" wide, and 29" deep. Pegged throughout. Wood has a nice patina. The cushion is original, but the tag is loose from the cushion. Someone tried to reapply it with tape. The leather is new reupholstered. The rocker has a stamped sign under the bottom of the left arm. It is well worn and hard to see. The last 2 photos are the original tag from the cushion and the marking on the arm. Antique c1900s Arts & Crafts Mission Fumed Oak / Ebony Picture Frame w Art Print
I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1900- 1915 Arts& Crafts dark quarter sawn fumed oak with ebonized outer margin 16-1/4" x 32-1/2" picture frame with lovely original print. The print is the original to the frame and has never been removed- I can not see any markings to indicate the name of the print nor the artist or publisher and do not want to take it out of the frame. The frame is in Very Nice Original Condition- the outer margin is ebonized and has a grooved or furrowed designs. The wood is quarter sawn oak and has a wonderful somewhat dark orig stain. It is in great shape- no damages and wear is light. There are a couple of small areas on the ebony outer frame that have light smudges in the finish from a drip of white paint. This is hard to notice and quite trivial, easily darkened if you would so choose. The ... moreback is original but the protective dust cover thin paper covering is missing. The print may very well be signed but it would be beneath the visible area and I do not want to remove the print from the frame. It is in Excellent Condition- no damages- looks great but was hard to photograph. The print itself measures approx 9-1/2" x 25-1/2" The glass is clear and Is of course original to the frame and print- no damages. It features nicely shaped and cut out end panels with keyed tenons. The top shows remnants of an oilcloth or leatherette seat cover. It is stamped with the number 408 underneath. Even though it is not signed this is the nicest antique Mission Oak Picture or Mirror frame that I have owned. It is expertly crafted and is made up of darkly stained quarter sawn oak sides with 4 sided pyramids at the corners. The finish is original and in very good vintage condition. It is structurally sound and not warped. When I purchased it it had an Angus Mac Donall Western print dated 1914 in it that I am listing seperately. It has an oak ply back on it that is held in place with screws. Between the print and the ply back was a Milwaukee Leader newspaper that was also dated 1914. The glass was broken and I see no reason to purchase new glass to add to the shipping weigh. The buyer can purchase a piece of glass of their choiice or perhaps order a beveled mirror to go with it. Either way I think it will be a wonderful addition to any ... morearts and crafts setting. Please inspect it closely with your zoom tool to verify the condition before bidding. Condition is as follows: Minus some wear to the original finish the bench is rock solid and void of wobbles. Great hall mirror by L&JG Stickley#65 in excellent all original condition. It measures 40" wide x 27" high. Through tenons at each corner and double pinned. Original copper hooks and mirror glass and mirror backing. Please look at the photos to get the best idea of the condition and ask any questions about it you may have. Macey Antique Oak 4 Drawer File Cabinet Dovetailed Orig Finish Mission Hardware
I think this antique oak 4 drawer Macey file cabinet is in very good vintage condition. It still retains the majority of the original dark oak finish. It is a bit scratchy on the top and has a few spots but I would leave it as is. I think a bit of scratch cover and a waxing would be sufficient to make it home ready. The interior of the cabinet and drawers are very clean for a vintage item. If you like to refinish items to a light oak look it would refinish nicely. It does have the original Macey Decal of Grand Rapids Mich. and all of the drawers have the original directional decals as well. The hardware is mission style so it would go well with arts and crafts furniture. It has a tiny seperation halfway up one side that is only about a 16th of an inch wide and causes no structurally concerns. ANTIQUE QUARTERSAWN OAK MISSION ARTS AND CRAFTS PLANT STAND END TABLE
For auction is this antique mission plant stand end table made from quartersawn oak. 14" square and 22" tall looks like it was refinshed many years ago and not by a pro. Top is not flat and might have been fixed with in the past 20 or so years, has light burn rings on the top. Stand is sturdy with no real bad scratches or digs, could use refinshing or left just the way it was found.
