The desk is in amazing condition, overall, but does have some light surface ... morescratches and wear from general use, particularly at the edge of the chair opening, most likely from the chair bumping into it in this area. I am unsure of the exact age of the desk. It is most likely a 1970's reproduction of an 18th Century Georgian Design. It has beautifully carved ball and claw feet, and chunky cabiole legs that are also carved at the knees. This desk has five (5) substantial drawers with the original brass bail pull handles, and five (5) faux drawer fronts on the back side also with brass bail pull handles. The drawers have dove tail joints. The desk was in front of a window for years, and therefore the finish on the back side is a bit faded.

Vintage Kittinger Neoclassical Gold Gilt Carved Wood and Wire Mirror
A knowledgable appraiser has identified this mirror as by Kittinger Furniture Company. I have not removed any of the old paper on the back to look for further proof. Neoclassical mirror. Gold gilt carved wood and wire. The mirror is 49" tall top to bottom and 25" wide. The glass part of the mirror itself is approx 27" long. A couple of small wood cracks which would be typical. But I have seen several of these mirrors over the years and I think this might be as good as it gets for its age or any age. Really stunning. I am reluctant to pack and ship this mirror, so local pick up only. Mirror is located within 4 miles of Ohare Airport. Gorgeous Antique Kittinger Brand Executive Desk. Made in N.Y. Post 1950. French Walnut. Exceptional Detail. Desk Measurements are approximately 65 1/2 in width. Approximately 36" inches in depth. Features 8 drawers total. The drawers impressively deep. Each of the side drawers measure approximately 26 1/2 inches deep. The middle draw measures more at 29 1/4 inches in depth and has a tray inside for pens etc. The bottom right features a file drawer. One brass drawer pull is missing but could be replaced through the original manufacturer today. There is another brass pull in the drawer which is complete. Kittinger has been in business since 1866. It started producing fine furniture one year after peace was restored between the North and the South. This is a fabulous Kittinger Table and 8 Chairs. The table is solid mahogany. Done in a medium walnut finish. This great set came from a beautiful estate. The table comes with the the three pedestals and two extra leaves. The chairs are leather seated. Two of the chairs have some hazing on the backs, they were kept in the basement. The other 6 chairs are in great condition. The chairs have no loose joints and are very sturdy. They measure 38" tall X 26" wide X 25" deep. The seat height is 18" and the seat is 19" The table is in very good condition with very minimal ware. The leaves are 24" each. He retired from the Air Force in 1978. And began ballooning around the country and entering balloon competitions. Kittinger won the Gordon Bennett Gas Balloon Race four times during the 1980s and retired the trophy after three consecutive victories. In November 1983, he established a new world record by flying a 1,000 cubic-meter(1,308-cubic-yard) helium balloon from Las Vegas, Nevada, to New York, covering 2,001 miles(3,220 km) in 72 hours. The next year, Kittinger became the first person to fly alone by balloon across the Atlantic Ocean. Setting out on Sep. 14, 1984, from Caribou, Maine, in the 3,000-cubic-meter-Rosie O'Grady, he floated 3,543 miles(5,702 km) touching down in Cairo Montenotte, Italy, on Sep. 18, by Kittinger's account, 83 hr and 40 min. after launch. Harmony Monterey H1327 Archtop Guitar"Kittinger Special" This exceedingly rare guitar was purchased from an estate sale in Virginia. The Kittinger Music Emporium shop in Roanoke. VA ordered this top of the line Harmony Monterey archtop with a"Kittinger Special" logo. The deluxe H1327 model should not be confused with later, more basic Harmony Monterey instruments. It's a striking guitar, featuring herringbone binding, a sunburst, and some great sprayed-on flame on the maple back and sides. It has tonebar bracing on the spruce top. This is a big guitar- a full 16 1/2" wide. Comes with the original hard case, which shows considerable wear inside, and a Kittinger Emporium sticker on the top. While playability is not optimal(see note in condition description about the current neck angle) I found the guitar to have ... morea nice honky, raspy archtop tone- it responds well to a thick pick and a strong attack. Condition description: The guitar’s in excellent shape overall with only a few scratches on the top and one or two more visible ones on the back. It’s missing the original pickguard and the first few frets are worn. One tuner has an ugly but functional weld repair where the button broke off and was reattached. It does need either a neck reset or a shorter replacement bridge. As I measure the action at the 12th fret about 9/64” on the low E. I am willing to ship internationally. Kittinger Pembroke Table CW27
This inlaid drop-leaf mahogany Pembroke Table is a reproduction of a late eighteenth-century table of Hepplewhite inspiration. The original table from which the reproduction is copied indicates Southern manufacture about 1780. Legs. Drawer front and back rail are inlaid with white holly; poplar drawer sides, hand dovetailed, handmade wooden hinges for leaf supports. One drawer. H- 28 1/4" D- 33" W- 46 1/4" open W- 22" closed In very good condition. This item has not been refinished and is in original condition. Ie, it is not new. As with all antiques there are some flaws. There are no major gauges, or nicks. Possible some sun lightening on the left leaf of table. Front edge where drawer opens has some wear(see pics) Wear on edges of table legs. I do not have the skeleton key for the drawer. The bottom of the drawer in ... morein tact. But needs to be secured, as it sometimes slides. As much detail as possible is given.
