This is a beautiful signed KITTINGER American sideboard with bell flower inlay down the legs. The sideboard is a copy of a period American sideboard and has the formal and traditional look. The sideboard measures 66 inches in length. 25 inches in depth, 39.5 inches in height. It is original finish and very clean with no damage or repairs. It does have a slight scratch on top from normal use over the years. There is a KITTINGER label on the inside of the top drawer. We do have the original key to lock the door and cabinet doors. There are 2 doors below the front drawer that open up like a cubby area, and the are doors flanking ... moreit on each side. This is a rare model sideboard and we could not find this particular model being sold anywhere, we did find similar ones but none with the exact form and none with the bell flower inlay down the legs. Similar ones which are more common and not as nice have sold at auction for around $4500, we believe this is a better model then those but we are selling it with no reserve anyway, our limited storage forces us to sell items like this at a fraction of the price that most people hold out for. We would prefer if the winning bidder could pick this up in person but we know that is not always possible. This is a gorgeous Regency style high chest of drawers with beautiful brass and ebony accents. Woods: Rosewood top. Chest is veneered in maple and elm. Dimensions: 56 1/4" high x 38 1/2" wide x 22" deep. Condition: Overall excellent to good. However, on right side of chest there is slight dripping of varnish as well as one small ding on edge of rosewood top and one small veneer chip on bottom edge of drawer, as shown in images.
