Up for sale is a lovely set of four(4) vintage original EAMES Herman Miller fiberglass side shells consisting of: 1 x DARK OLIVE/HUNTER GREEN 1 x YELLOW 1 x OCHRE 1 x PARCHMENT Beautiful complementary colors. All 4 shells have the"Herman Miller" logo embossment. The yellow and green have the desirable narrow mount configuration. The original shock mounts have detached(replacements are easily obtainable on this site) Selling as is. Both have the Herman Miller logo embossed on the underside as well as the backwards"Z" with the yellow having a Herman Miller inspection sticker with date stamp. The green is a bit of a chameleon in that it looks gray or brown under certain lighting. The color could be raw umber. Since it looks similar to a raw umber shell we used to have, but the overriding color is dark green, so it's more ... morelikely dark olive or army/hunter green. Overall great vintage condition with surface scratches and marks, as shown, but nothing to detract from the structural integrity of the shell. The ochre is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful glossy sheen and lovely fiberglass pattern. Great vintage condition with no cracks or integral damage. Fiberglass threads beautifully visible on all these shells. The notable flaws are on the parchment. Where there is a stress mark and fracture on the top corner, as depicted. The yellow appears to be previously painted and still has some paint residue. Stress marks and spots, as depicted, but remains structurally sound. Awesome Vintage Herman Miller Made in USA. Upholstered Chair, Mustard colored upholstery. This chair is super comfortable. An iconic example of 1970's era modern furniture. The fabric stitching is in very good condition- however. It needs cleaned. There are no tears in the fabric or the backs. The legs also need cleaned and some of the chairs are missing the glides from the bottoms. This chair has the makers' marks and original tags. The delivery date is listed as 1975. Early EAMES for HERMAN MILLER - Fiberglass Rocking Chair RAR Mid Century Rocker
Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller- RAR" Fiberglass Rocking Chair A hallmark of mid-century design. This Eames' fiberglass shell rocking chair is in very good condition for it's age. Color of shell is"light ochre" which looks like a butterscotch yellow or gold in some light, and a bit brighter in natural light. The wooden runners are stained a sort of medium brown to blonde. I believe this to be an early model, as it does not have an embossed stamp or sticker(may have had a sticker at one point, most likely the checked Herman Miller version, but has long since been removed) Because of this lack of markings and the plastic's translucency, I think this was produced by Herman Miller with Zenith plastics, but I cannot authenticate this myself. I can say for certain, however, that this is in fact from the early ... more50's, is NOT a modern reproduction, and that the base, rockers, and hardware are original to the piece. The shell is free of cracks or significant chips(does have some minor nicks along edges(see pic#9) and a small discoloration spot on the seat(see pic#11) The base has a black matte finish. Is structurally sound and in great condition. All of the hardware(screws, etc. are present, and do not appear to have ever been replaced or even loosened. The wooden runners are in good shape, with some expected nicks and marks along edges and bottoms(see pics#4,7,8) Shipping within the continental U.S. will be a flat rate of $100. Selling my very rare Herman Miller Eames designed LCW chair. Color is Aniline Red. It is in very good vintage condition with a minor chip to the back of the seat. Rubber shocks are 100% original and in good shape. Believe it to be from 1958. black stamp underneath with the# 58. 5 2 4 screw configuration. Most likely just after the switch from Evans production. Has a very light LCW stamped in the wood underneath. Unfortunately the Herman Miller tag fell off long ago: 100% original as found from the original owner who had many early Eames pieces. Chair has typical wear. See pics. Red Aniline dye is faded making it a very warm cherry color. much easier to see the red dye underneath. Beautiful chair! Bid with confidence! This set is in very good vintage condition. They show use but not abuse. You will find some scratches. Soiling and dirt spots along with some light shock mount bleed through, all pretty minor. These pictures were taken outside in bright light to get the best clarity. They will not be as shiny in a darker environment. The edges are in great shape and there are no cracks. No chips or cracks in the fibreglass. The shockmounts are in good condition. Some minor scuffs here and there on the shell and some small discolouration but nothing serious. The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene. Which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. Mid Century Modern Herman Miller Padded Shell Chair with original label
I have lots of Mid Century listed and more on the way. This is a great chair everyone knows who Herman Miller is this is the padded arm chair it is a bit unusual not only is it padded but also has material on the seat area instead of all padding. it is in good condition but has wear you would expect from an original that hasn't been restored some minor splits but nothing bad. Im sure the seat material could be cleaned but I just sell them as I find them. It is solid I weigh 245 and it held me fine and is very comfy this is a great design. The color will look great in any home or office. the logo is molded into the bottom and it also has an original paper label dated November 1971. I took 2 pics of the logo because first had good color but hard to see and second easy to see but looks very dull. There is also a C with a star inside it molded ... moreabove the Howard Miller logo not sure what that means but maybe stands for star company which eventually became Howard Miller.

Vintage 1950's George Nelson Style Bench Table Herman Miller Mid Century Modern
This is a very nice circa 1950's all original cushion and table bench in the George Nelson Herman Miller style. It is not signed. It is in excellent condition with yellow vinyl covering all around and soft padded surface with laminated white side table and yellow legs. The cloth bottom covering is ripped in places and coming loose. There are two very small chips in the edge of the white top and two tiny cracks in the corners at the far edge of the cushion(see closeups) Some minor paint wear to the legs. I have not stapled the cloth bottom or tried to repair it. The padded cushion is soft and comfortable and not cracking. It measures 48" long, 18" wide and 17" tall and the legs are not removable and are very sturdy and strong. Telephone shown in picture is not included. Thank you!

HISTORY: Up for auction is a vintage Eames Herman Miller DSR( D ining or desk height S ideshell Wire( R od) base side chair with molded fiberglass shell in red orange color. The chair was designed by Charles Eames and manufactured by the Herman Miller Furniture Company. The shell dated from 1952 and still has a rare silver Herman Miller medallion. The shell rests on an early zinc plated Eiffel Tower"wall protective" 4 legged base complete with 4 original white self-leveling plastic glides. The base extends further out in the rear so the shell edge does not rub the wall. The chair is known for it's comfort and durability. The shell is produced from fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Originally. The fiberglass was being used during the war to reinforce plastic on airplane radar domes. In according to the Eames fiberglass contract ... moreshell colors catalogue, this color was specified as RO(Red Orange) The fiberglass shell has the narrow shock mounts configuration. This very 60's color is one of the most disarble and popular colors of the Eames fiberglass shells. CONDITION REPORT: This chair is in very good for its age vintage condition. The shell is clean. Shows LOTS of FIBER and still retains it's original gleaming luster. The color is extremely bright and vivid with no fading. Looks gorgeous! The original gel coating is intact! The small shock mounts are in good original condition with no"bleeding" and have NOT been re-glued. Some very min. wear to the edge and surface of the shell. Nothing major but we have to mention this for the accuracy of the description. This shell still retains its original"1952" stamp and the Herman Miller silver foil round medallion. This listing has been updated with new information. This auction is for a 9 drawer chest and pedestal base designed by George Nelson and manufactured by Herman Miller. This item was purchased from a former Herman Miller employee. This chest is made from Teak wood with an external Rosewood Staining. Pedestal base is aluminum and painted"studio white' from the manufacture. Chest bottom has 4 small original feet that allow you to use the cabinet without the pedestal. Chest has been drilled(by Herman Miller) to accept the pedestal base(screws are not included) Dimension: nine-drawer chest without pedestal base: 10.5" w | 13" d | 23.5" h nine-drawer chest with four-star pedestal base: 10.5" w | 13" d | 43.5" h Condition: I was told that this set was never used- pedestal base still has its feet wrapped and ... moreprotected! Overall. This set is in excellent condition and really is in almost new condition. There is one small area of edge-wear and one small area of corner wear(both are on the back-side of the piece) The lip of the base also has 1" of rough edge-wear. I don't believe that any of these are all that noticeable. Although these 9 drawer units are still available from Herman Miller today. They are no longer manufactured in this finish. During the war they were commissioned by the Navy to produce molded plywood splints. Stretchers and experimental glider shells. HOW OFTEN ... moreDO YOU SEE AN ORIGINAL 8 FT BENCH? Let alone came with the 3 original cabinets that sat on top. Purchased from another dealer and originally came from an artists estate in west Tx. Over all the condition is good to very good. Varies from piece to piece. I would say the finishes are VERY good. The bench shows the most wear. The underside of one leg has extra screws going from the leg into the bench(pictured) The bench does have some small chips to the finish but is structurally sound. The bench legs are the earliest variation with rounded edges and the foot glides to the underside of the legs have been removed. The black lacquered cabinet also retains the original finish, very good condition and has the Herman Miller silver foil label. The top drawer sags very slightly as the inside runner is slightly worn(pictured) This can be adjusted. The blonde single door cabinet. With the rarest"x" pull is in very good to excellent condition with the original finish in great shape, as is the glass top cabinet. The glass top cabinet also has glass to the back.
