It is in very good condition, and even has the little metal inserts that are at the bottom ... moreand catch the water that runs off of umbrellas. There are some light surface scratches on the finish, but this is normal wear for a piece that most likely dates to the 1910’s or early ‘20s. The stand has the original hardware coat hooks on it. It has an rectangular beveled mirror at the top center, and one small compartment, or glove box, with a hinged lid between the side braces that are meant to hold umbrellas. The piece has some lightly carved detail on it, as well as a lovely delicate cut-out pattern. There is some light damage at the front of one of the side rails, as well as a bit more wear to the finish on the front legs.

The finish is black and it is very ornately hand carved by what must have been a master craftsman. The massive crown holds an oval mirror that appears to be original glass. The body is a large rectangular pier mirror with a beveled edge. The mirrors are showing some dark spots and fogging, which is very common to pieces this old. ANTIQUE BARLEY TWIST PAINTED WOOD HALL TREE COAT HAT RACK HORSE HOOF FEET
We are pleased to offer this very nice and unique antique hall tree coat rack. This lovely piece is large and measures 67.5" tall. It is made of oak which has been painted(a long time ago) in an off white or antique white. It features a long center column which is in a French or Barley Twist turned design. The raised base features 4 long legs and horse hoof feet. The legs and feet are all in one piece. The top of the tree has a ball finial with turned wood design below. There are 4 brass double hooks for hanging multiple items such as coats and hats. Scarves, etc. This is a very nice hall tree with beautiful and graceful lines. The unique hoofed feet add a very interesting touch and are quite nice. The rack is in very good antique condition. The piece dates to the early part of the 1900s. Bent or broken parts except for a minor bend in one arm(photos) It is solid and sturdy- capable of handling a full load of coats. The crown and base are made from brass. The crown rotates freely on its center pin. The center post has two beautiful striated onyx/marble sections with brass inserts and trim. This hall tree has smaller hooks in the center for childrens coats. Note that the lines that look like they could be cracks in the onyx are actually naturally occurring veins in the stone. Also. Up for auction is this Mission/Arts Crafts Style coat rack. Very sturdy but does have some issues. Solid oak rack with great patina. Measures 68"tall x 12"deep and wide. As the pictures show. Two of the wooden hooks are missing. The third hook is broken and is taped. This is how I bought it and I have owned it for a good eight years. Vintage brass estate hall tree hat rack Masonic Lodge Offered is a vintage old hat rack I picked up an old Masonic lodge. This ornate tree stand is made of brass and metal base. The unusual item was sold as part of an estate with a mix of relics from the loge and personal items. Not sure of the origin but it looked pretty cool. Stands 6 feet tall and is comprised of two spheres on a stand with a third decorative ball near the bottom. The top globe is approximately 24 inches around. 6 hooks are fastened to the globe. I believe this is all brass. The bottom sphere is smaller with three hooks. There is a modern screw holding the stem otherwise all other items look fairy old. The base looks like brass but it is metal as my magnet stick to it. Weight is 26lbs and is has an ornate Victorian look to it. We are pleased to offer this very ornate. Pre 1900, antique brass umbrella stand. This lovely entry hall stand features a footed base fashioned as an inverted umbrella/parasol. It has 6 sections and is done in an all over hammered brass design. In each section are ornate, embossed floral bouquets. The column is also brass and is ribbed. The top of this stand is quite ornate with curved brass. There are two dolphin or dragons in the center of the curvature. The creatures mirror one another. They have eyes and curved bodies. From their heads comes the curved handle. The stand has five large circular holders. Each holder measures approximate 2.6" in diameter and will hold more than one umbrella. Antique OAK? HALL TREE w/IRON HOOKS Mid Century Mission Wood Coat Hat Rack Antique/Vintage Oak? Wood Hall Tree/Coat Rack Handcrafted; stands approx. 72" tall. Features four iron double hooks-the kind that will hold a hat above and a coat below; these hooks were originally painted a gold-brass color but have aged to a distressed finish. The style is somewhat Mission/Arts& Crafts-very simple in design; it looks like oak wood. But I am no expert so I can't say for sure-please refer to photos to judge. Condition is pretty much as it appears in photos. It is old; as its handcrafted it is somewhat primitive and is unfinished on undersides that don't show. Which is typical with antiques; it shows normal vintage wear(some dings here and there and a few hairlines-one was behind a hook-see pics) but nothing too bad. Two of the"feet" ... moreare loose and one had a screw added to it on underside at some point but otherwise the feet were nailed on; buyer may wish to nail down the feet more as one popped off while I was taking it apart for packing and I popped it back on, but all that said, it looks good overall and is sturdy and stands fine. It has been taken apart to save on shipping costs. But will easily go back together using a screwdriver for the hooks and a pair of pliers or wrench to tighten the base bolt. This lovely 19th century Hat/ Coat Rack features beautiful two toned walnut.Pierced carvings& rosettes, 7 turned hat/ coat pegs and a sweet little lift up storage compartment below the mirror. This hall rack measures 52 1/2 inches in height.33 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches in total depth and weighs approximately 25 lbs. The mirror portion measures 16 1/4 inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide. Each of the turned hat coat hooks protrude out 5 3/4 inches and the little storage compartment measures 14 1/4 inches wide by 6 inches deep. The hall tree retains it’s original finish which is in very nice condition and shows only very minor wear considering age. Other than the added screws mentioned above. It is completely original. They are solid with patina brass or gold paint and measure about 4 x 7 1/2” The screws on backs measure about 2 1/4” from nut shape on back to tip. They definitely didn't want these to come loose.

Antique Oak Hall Tree w. Beveled Mirror, circa 1900
This is a very unusual hall tree. I have never seen one quite like it. There are flat grooved columns on each side with hooks at top, they are connected to back with a shelf. Applied carving adorns the crest with hook on each side. Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. Selling an antique medium(color) oak hall tree. Brass accents. Hall tree has 6 double hat hooks. Drawer has a brass pull tab. The bottom of the tree has two metal trays where the bottoms of umbrellas or canes would have rested.
