Vintage Mid-Century Brass Clothing Wardrobe Hanger Hall Tree Stand - Mad Men!
Up for sale is our Vintage 1960's Brass Valet/Clothes Hanger/Butler/Wardrobe. Overall good condition with normal wear to the brass and fabric consistent with age and use. This valet measures 4 feet tall x 18" wide x 17" deep. The seat height is 14" from the floor. Made of brass and vinyl or imitation leather. The vinyl is original to the piece and is ivory in color. The frame is brass. There is an etched brass tray on top to hold your pocket change. Keys, cell phone, etc. and there is an embossed brass medallion in the center with flying ducks or geese. There is a place to hang your jacket and a bar with rubber grips to hang your slacks on so they will stay wrinkle free. Nice and sturdy and complete. There is no missing or broken hardware, just a small tear about 1 inch in the vinyl on one side shown in a photo, and a small ... morepin hole in the seat cushion, and a few missing stiches. The bottom of the seat is covered with the original cardboard which is loose in the front, but I didn't want to tape or staple it and will leave that to the new owner- a very easy fix really. Antique Victorian Highly Carved Walnut Hall Tree w/ Beveled Mirror & Marble
Estate Treasure. Up for auction is a Victorian highly carved hall tree. It dates back to the mid 1800's. It is walnut and the finish has ebonized. It is in very good condition for it's age. The small diamond shaped mirror at the top is spotted and streaked and a piec of molding around th mirror is missing. The small 1/2 moon mirror near the top is in great condition and the large beveled mirror is great with very slight haziness(it measures 39" H by 17-1/2" W) The marble shelf has some small flea bite chips along the edge and one larger chip on the back edge next to the wood(it is 8" by 14" There are no coat hooks and it does not appear to have ever had any. As with any antique furniture there are going to be some character flaws but I have pointed out everything even slightly major. It stands 89" tall. 23" ... morewide, and 10" deep. Wonderful Victorian hall tree with elements of Eastlake style. This piece is made from beautiful dark walnut and has a central mirror with bevelled edges. The arched top and middle panel have quintessential spindle shapes above a scrolled. Tray-like shelf. A circular brass piece on the lowest shelf was likely intended for holding umbrellas. Four decorative brass hooks are fastened along the sides for hanging coats and have long threaded backs that allow them to be used to affix the hall tree to a wall for stability. The drip pan measures 8” by 6 1/4” across the top. The base measures 6 ½” by 4 11/16” The pan is 1 1/2 inches deep. There is some light surface rust in the crevices. But otherwise it is very clean. A beautiful quarter sawn oak American hall tree from 1880-1920. The oval mirror is in great condition. And measures 17 1/2" wide x 39 1/2" long with a one inch bevel. It has old hardware and could very well be original as the marks on wood behind the hdwe matches, but I don't know for sure. The seat fits very nicely. This has been professionally restored completely at one time. The top and bottom breaks down into two pieces, great for shipping. BOTTOM measures: 33" wide x 16 3/4" depth x 47 1/4" tall. Antique 1890's Victorian Hall Seat/Tree w/Mirror Massive! Hand Carved Oak Fancy!
Congratulations! You are bidding on a magnificent antique Victorian 1890's Hall seat/tree with bevelled mirror. This one-of-a-kind hall seat is made of solid oak with quarter sawn arms that end in hand carved lions' heads. It has claw feet and decorative carvings on the curved skirt and mirror surround. It has four decorative metal brackets for hanging hats around the mirror. It also has a deep storage seat. Quite frankly. It has the look and feel of a throne! It has been restored with an oak stain and satin polyeurothane finish in order to stand up to the rigors of daily use. It does have one area where the wood panels have separated slightly in the middle of the back of the seat(see pics) but it in no way takes away from the overall look of the piece. Up for auction is a Vintage Ethan Allen Wall Hanging/Hall Tree w/ Mirror and 4 Hooks It measures approximately 42” long X 22” wide at the widest point. The mirror is oval and is a little cloudy but still very clear. The hooks are a antique brass finish with white porcelain knobs. The wood is a dark pine which has been distressed and has a couple of nicks. It is in very good condition for its age. For shipping the hooks will be removed. This lot consist of two cast iron double hooks and 4 cast iron single hooks. The double hooks are 7 ¼” wide and 3 ½” from top to bottom. These two hooks attach with one bolt in the back. The four single hooks are 3 5/8” from front to back and back plate is 2 ¼” high. These four hooks have 2 holes each for screws. No bolts or screws are included. All are in nice cond.
