There are six missing mother-of-pearl squares. Nine of the squares have no chips. The rest have varying size chips- of those that are chipped, two have major loss of mother-of-pearl and one has a crack across. The baked papier mache is crazed with alligator skin texture especially on the table top and underside- less so on the base. The gold. Blue and green scroll and crest ... moredecal work on the table top has rub wear and color loss, especially the blue. Floral roses with gold scrolling and vine work on the pedestal and the base is in good condition with some loss on the three feet and the lower curving edge of the base. The edges. Bottoms and end corners of the three feet have wear with the wood visible. The brass tilt-top hardware is original and in good working condition. The original hardware for the feet has been replaced with screws which cause the table to be out-of-level by about 7/8" Where the pedestal post connects to the table underside; there are two vertical splits to the lacquer. They are quite attractive and are hard to find on a draw leaf table and even harder to find with such an elegant stretcher between them. Originally this table was made in England sometime around 1920 and is made from solid mahogany wood. The mahogany has aged well and displays a wonderful patina that everyone will enjoy. One ... moreeither end of the table is a pull out draw leaf extension. These leaves each add 14″ to the length of the table and can be pulled out independently of each other. This gives you the option to have the table 42″ long(closed) 56″ long(one leaf out) or 70″ long(both leaves out) As previously mentioned. The Queen Anne legs are a real treat to find on this table and even more spectacular is the elegant X-frame stretcher joining them. The X-frame is nice because it doesn’t interfere with chairs while adding strength to the table. Their gentle sloping shape mimics and compliments the cabriole legs. This table is in very good condition. The finish is excellent and the table is clean and ready to be used immediately. The draw leaves pull in and out easily. There is a small split on one end as shown in the photos and some minor marks(small dings) here and there as you would expect from something of this age. This is quite an unusual quarter sawn oak poker table or game table. The outside rim of the top is exchangeable and will flip over from solid oak to oak pockets. This is a neat design I have never seen before. This table comes from a saloon tavern in Texas and was in that place for over 100 years. Note the very nice paw and claw feet and the pretty ribbed pedestal. Piece is original with the exception of the felt which has been replaced. Coleco Table Hockey Game CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS Team unused sheet 1970s
CLICK HERE For More TABLE HOCKEY! This team was designed for use with the 1970's and 1980's era Coleco Table Hockey games. It is also compatible with some late model Eagle Table Hockey games. Each Coleco team originally consisted of a sprue with plastic bases and a set of team decals that were to be applied to the bases(the earlier Coleco teams were of pre-painted tin) Nowadays it is pretty difficult to find the teams in this unused condition. There were 2 main versions of the plastic Coleco teams. The 1970's version had decals with helmet-less players and solid bases. These bases were usually white. The 1980's versions had decals of helmeted players and framed bases with hollow centers. These bases were usually black. The dates I am using are approximate and there may be some cross-over. This listing is for a sheet of unused ... moredecals. They are the official Coleco-printed decals. Not ILLEGAL photocopies. There are no plastic bases included, just the decals. This team is in GOOD condition. This particular set is in unused condition with the stickers still affixed to the original sheet. The sheet has suffered some stains so a few of the players will have a stain on them when you peel them off but most are unaffected. The sheet has also suffered a couple creases but again. It will only affect some of the players. The adhesive on the back of these is probably no longer useful so you will need to glue them onto the bases. All stickers still affixed to the original sheet. There is one light crease right down the middle of the sheet but it's very light and does not cause a color-break. No stains or writing. These are the original stickers issued by the game company, not a photocopy. It does not include the plastic bases that these would mount on. I am not a Nintendo guy so I am not familiar with these games so I took several photos in hopes of showing it's true condition and will describe what functions I tried. ANTIQUE ROSEWOOD FRENCH LOUIS XV GAME LIBRARY TABLE TOOLED LEATHER BRONZE MOUNTS
We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL antique to older vintage game/library table. This is an exquisite table of superior construction. The table is solid(no veneer) Rosewood or Mahogany with marquetry(inlaid) accents on the drawer faces. There are superb bronze mounts on the upper cabriole legs. The feet are a bronze. boot" that fits over the wood. The feet have detailed claw pattern with a feathered design above. The table top is leather and features a subtle, tooled medallion in the center and tooled scrolling around the perimeter. There are 4 inlaid wooden cup holders on the top as well. Each side of the table has one functioning drawer and one"faux" drawer, for a total of 4 functioning drawers. The detailing on the drawers is as superb as the balance of the table. They are solid wood with dovetail joints and flat head ... morescrews. They are semi-divided. The drawers have wooden glides(also dovetailed) which mount and slide on the wooden rails inside the table. The table's apron/skirt is beautifully scalloped. This is a truly fabulous table. It dates to the early half of the 20th century, probably in the 1940s. It is in EXTREMELY nice condition with only very minor evidence of age or use. There are only a couple of minor surface scuffs which are neither distracting or severe. The bronze mounts are securely attached and still retain their gilded finish. The table is heavy, sturdy and BEAUTIFUL. There are no manufacturer's marks or stickers, but each drawer is stamped with the number 4. The table measures 30.25" tall and it is 27.75" squared. Lovely flip top type antique to vintage game table. Manufactured by Sligh. Table is in excellent condition. Some marks to finish(a few scratches/mars) See photos as part of description. I can send more upon request. Top is in half when in'small' position. And flips open and slides across base to become larger for games/card/serving. Lighter wood. Pencil taper legs. I believe this is late 1940s but I can't ascertain for certain the age. My grandparents played cards every Friday night in the 50s and 60s.
