The table is mahogany with birch inlay and mahogany veneers. It has a fifth leg that swings open to support the top and is probably from New England. The table is 36" wide by 18" deep by 30" high closed. Opened it is 36" across by 29" high. It was once a gorgeous table but has some significant problems as follows: the top is warped and there have been some rather sloppy repairs. Mostly done with a shellac stick. There is also a split in the top which has been filled. I tried to get pictures of everything and I hope I didn't leave anything out. I am happy to send more pictures via email to anyone who wishes. C. 1730-50, featuring almost entirely original hardware(chairs not included) Item# 110106IPP18 This listing is for a George II Period Queen Anne Solid Mahogany Card Table. Circa 1730-50. It features a single solid board top of highly figured mahogany, with turrets on each corner flanking a serpentine center form. This opens easily over two original brass hinges, each locking to either side with small brass hand made original screws, worn smooth from years of use. The rear legs extend using a concertina action mechanism to allow the rear legs to reach out in a perfect square. Forming a full card table for the center of a room. Each hinge within the concertina mechanism appears to be original, with some replaced screws on the innermost hinges. The ... moresecondary framing is oak, creating strength in all portions of the mechanism to allow it to last. When the legs are pulled out, a small shelf and box are visible. This shelf has a carved handle, allowing you to carefully pull it along routed lines towards the rear legs, effectively locking the legs in a perfect square while also revealing a convenient space for game pieces. The box is hand dovetailed front and back, and both shelf and box are entirely oak construction. We will note that great care must be shown while pulling this shelf out, to not jam it or otherwise damage the concertina action- this is an incredibly special piece, in that the concertina action has been very well preserved; these are delicate mechanisms and they must be protected by carefully operating them. The Checkerboard side has some veneer cracks to to aging, but seems in remarkable condition. The intricately inlaid side has veneer cracking and crazing with what appears to be patina over the burl areas. This side needs to be handled with care as it is in delicate condition. You might find the patina on the burl adds to the beauty of this piece. This ships from a sanitary and smoke free environment. 1981 Coleco Pac Man Table Top Mini Arcade Game - midway with Perma Power adapter
Hello. Up for sale is this vintage Coleco mini TableTop Arcade PacMan game from 1981. This arcade game is the mini version that can be played on a table top, roughly 10 inches tall. There is no packaging. You get exactly what is pictured. It is in very good condition and works perfect. It includes the original battery cover with instructions on it. It has nice looking stickers with some minor wear. The front top sticker is lifting some on the right side. You could put a little glue under it and stick it back down no problem. The game and screen have minor surface scratching. When the game is on you do not notice scratches on the screen. It has been used so does have some surface wear. No damage or cracks or anything like that. The battery covers on these games do not snap into place very well(which is why they are often missing) Someone put ... more2 pieces of tape. One on each side to keep it on. You can see them on the bottom back corners in the pics. You could pick these away if you wish. Included as well it the hard to find Coleco Perma Power. It is a battery/system adapter you can plug into the wall to play. The sound on the machine works great and is loud. I find it a bit loud and it sounds like a siren. Oh the 80's. They did what they could. In the last picture I turned out the lights and did not use a flash so it would show up better but the photo is blurry because of this. The game is not blurry at all. Very cute. Very cool old retro table top arcade game. This is a genuine North American release(Canada and U.S) and is all original. REMARKABLE BOSTON CIRCA 1815 CLASSICAL MAHOGANY GAME TABLE With our utmost pride we are delighted to offer this absolutely exceptional circa 1815-20 mahogany banded inlaid classically carved Boston game table. We have exhaustively researched this table for its attribution. With reservations. And about to pin it down to the workshop of Salem, Massachusetts' Nathaniel Appleton, we found several photographs in the Boston MFA's furniture collection of the works of an unknown Boston furniture maker. He made a very small known amount of furniture with this radiating spiral carved base component which is a virtual fingerprint in this case. This over the top game table has four monopause compounded legs with paw on paw carved feet. The bases' platform has large carved cabachons surrounding its base(with the aforementioned carvings) leading ... moreup to the column with a magnificant large carved budding bellflower. The column, base platform and legs are some of the most outrageous carvings we have ever seen on an early 19th century Massachusetts classical movement piece. They are so noteworthy& unique that we have spent numerous hours researching this piece. The game table's top has a fine figured mahogany apron with a carved center panel. The top lid and open surface of the table is surrounded by a thick banded inlay and all of its mahogany on its top is highly figured by a deep rich grain. The table has had a professional restoration and French polishing approximately 30 years ago. There was some shrinkage seasoning in the banded inlay. This was addressed during the restoration. Antique ORIGINAL Wooden Foosball Table Football Soccer German game! Mechanical
Hello. This is an extremely early table football or"foosball" game. The cabinet is wood and the players look to be cast iron. Foosball originated in Europe, and the German phrase and lettering"Fussball" complete with German character is stenciled on the cabinet. This is an amazing coin-op game, definitely the earliest I've ever seen! Hopefully you get a good idea of this item from the photos. The game's dimensions are 42 inches high. 38 inches long and the cabinet is 22 inches high. You can see some chips to the wood in photo 4, and a little bit in the first 3 photos. The legs are worn. They can also be removed, and most likely will be removed for the shipping process. All of the tables glass panes are actual glass, except for one replacement(plexi) One of the players is missing(see photo 9 for a view from above ... morethe table) but the rest are complete and include a high degree of original paint! You can see the original score counter in photo 6, and the operational device in photo 7. The mech probably needs some work because you can put a coin in and the ball will come up, but the ball will also come up without inserting the coin. You can see the underside of the table in photo 8. The mechanics are very good as the players turn and kick well. I'll gladly consider any offers. Just know that the purchase price will have to take some of the shipping load off of me since this is such a large item. I wish I could read any of the lettering to know what date this machine was released or patented or what company made it, but I cannot detect any of that right now. If you have any questions for me. This is a good quality mahogany game table that I think is federal but it may be sheraton or even empire. I'm putting the age circa 1880 but it may be circa 1920. It is in that range age wise. It will go with a variety of styles. The table is very attractive with wonderful turned tapered carved legs front and back. The table is a good size. Closed the table measures 37" wide. 18 1/2" deep, and 29" tall. The legs are 25" from the floor to the table apron. We believe these chairs to have their original finish and the cane seats are in excellent antique condition. Each chair measures a total height from the floor to the top of the back of 34 inches. With a seat width of 16 1/2 inches, seat depth of 15 1/2 inches and seat height of 17 3/4 inches and each chair weighs approximately 8 lbs. These 19th century chairs feature a shaped crest-rail. Shield shaped back-splat, cane bottom seats with ring turned stretchers and ring turned front legs and tapered back legs. Comes with original styrofoam packing and box, but the instructions have been lost, and are NOT included. The box has seen better days, for sure, but is better than no box at all! The game itself is super clean. Very slight wear is visible on this game, and the battery compartment is also very clean. The big thing about this game is that it has ZERO sticker bleed through(where the glue has seeped through the labels and created dark or greasy looking splotches) These games are notorious for it and it's very rare to find one with none at all. federal 1800's inlaid mahogany hepplewhite card or game table original finish
for auction is a great federal inlaid mahogany hepplewhite game or card table. it was made circa 1800. i think the inlaid wood is primarily satin wood but may be some others as well. the inlaid is in the serpentine front. In the edge of the top and down the legs. none is missing as far as i can ascertain. the finish is original and shows a lot of crazing and cracking and some depressions, none of which are an issue, but if you are looking for the perfect finish, this one does not have it. actually the pictures don't show the finish well, it just looks kinda hazy, but anyway, it is old varnish and shows some minor loss in a few places, but again it is not enough for pictures to pick up. it has bronze or brass collars at the feet which are in good shape and the rivets are tight. this is the best hepplewhite table on the internet, but not ... morepriced anywhere close to those others. they start at like 8500 and go up. i have a federal and period furniture book and the hepplewhite card tables are prized in the book from 15,000 up to 541,000. in fact, my table is a dead ringer for the 541,000 dollar table. i don't want that much for mine, maybe half, or maybe 1 percent would be great. this table has hepplewhite inventory nos. on the bottom of the skirt which read 1579 A and i think 21. it also has written on the bottom of the table english mahogany. the structure and function of this piece is mint condition and perfect the finish is smooth and i just cleaned it with liquid gold, a furniture polish. there are two very tiny pieces of wood missing, about the size of a small finger nail clipping, if you can see them, they are in picture 2 and 4, but they are so small i don't think they can be seen. the right hind leg is a swing leg and supports the other half of the top when opened up, it works to perfection. the table is square, plumb, and level. it is 36 inches wide,36 inches deep when opened up or 17.75 inches deep when not in use. it is 30 inches tall. it has been in my aunt's deceased husbands family since i
