The chair came with others marked Herman Miller Venice. CA although this one does not retain its original tag. The pad is torn and degrading and will need to be removed with the discretion of the buyer. The wire frame of the chair is solid for the most part. However the rectangular piece of wire that holds the base on has quite a few weld breaks and will need to be re-secured. The frame is also in need of a good cleaning or painting/powder-coating as the chair had been in storage for many years. Up for auction is a beautiful vintage Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair. Model 670 and 671. It has Brazilian rosewood, with gorgeous rich grain. The chair and ottoman are both in black leather and have a wonderful patina. Herman Miller tags are still present on the chair, though the paper labels seem to have faded over time. The chair still has remnants of the paper labels and the full black label, while the ottoman has the full paper labels beneath it. The chair came from the home of a successful physician. Condition of the cushions are lovely. With minimal wear. The backrests are just about perfect and there are no tears on any of the cushions. The Brazilian rosewood has a couple of very minimal scratches, which simply look like they may have bumped into something else at one point in time. Vintage Danish Modern Chair Mid Century Teak Lounge Mod Eames Mad Men
This auction is for one vintage Danish modern lounge chair. The chair is solid. But it does need to have it's leather bottom seat support straps replaced. The five original straps are there, but they are dry and worn with age. Cosmetically, the dark wood stain has wear and scratches(see pictures) We had planned on stripping it and refinishing it, but just never found the time. There are a few places with gouges in the wood. Each of the four legs has a brass accent foot. One of the accents has a split in the brass(see picture) No cushions are included in this auction. I have two Herman Miller Eames aluminun group office chairs from my home office in near perfect condition. The auction is for one chair but buyer will have the option to buy the 2nd chair. Aalto, Thonet style/ era A great mid-century modern chair from a wonderful estate sale in Upstate New York. It fits. Rocks and feels great. A well made quality piece. T he wood supporting the back is gently curved along with the wood frame supporting under the seat. The frame is strong and sturdy. Aesthetically. It is also in very nice condition. The wood frame shows only some wear mostly on the left side. The left hand rest and left front bottom curved rocker have some small dings and some light smaller scuffs. They could be rubbed out if you need it to look like new. Again they just seem to be on the left front and are nothing major(see photos) Pads do show a lot of wear. Nice. Sturdy, wood stool. The top lifts off for storage. One side has a thin strip of wood that has come off along the bottom edge. Shown in photos 10. Over all very nice condition. The top had the original vinyl cover. It has no rips but was faded and stained. I cleaned it very good with advrasive and covered it in a clean Jimi Hendrix t-shirt. The auction is for the Eames chair only but the Eames dinning room table is also for sale. This is my very early 1950's Eames fiberglass rope chair in great condition. It has all original screw in glides/feet. Shock mounts, original screws in the base and original x base in silver. Many of these very early 1950's Eames chairs tend to have reproduction bases and glide but again, my chair is completely original. The color is a very soft earth tone tan and has no chips or cracks. Not many original and unmolested Eames shell chairs out there and mine is solid and ready to go for years of more service. I was told my Eames DTM10 dinning table was produced from 1946 thru 1955 but not sure the exact date mine was made. My table has a white top, black folding legs and black bottom. The table also has its original factory DTM10 stamp underneath ... morethe table. My table is 54x34 and that is rare because most these early chairs were 34x34 or just square. It has the narrow mount setup originally used in the 1950's and 1960's. This base was originally designed by Charles Eames and produced by Herman Miller in the early-1960s. This fiberglass shell, blue naugahyde wrapped chair is in fantastic condition. There is a pinhole in the seat(pictured) but little else that does not establish this chair as one of the very best on eBay. The navy blue naugahyde is handsome and the stitching is tight. This is not the teal blue that you are seeing in many of the other listings. The underside grommets and other hardware are in excellent condition as well. There is some minor discoloration in the black fiberglass shell but who cares as you can't see it while you are seated. Black legs have some minor scuffing to the paint. A couple of minor scuffs in the black trim that supports the leather seat. There are two plastic washer ... morefeet on the back legs and none of the front. This is a very nice retro danish modern style Cosco plastic kid's booster chair. The chair is a light black/dark gray plastic with a black& white houndstooth padded seat. The legs are chrome& have plastic slide grippers on the bottom. The legs are adjustable. The pictures show the chair in the highest setting. The plastic is in good condition with no cracks or splits. There are a few scratches on the plastic. The most obvious one is on the front right of the chair. The houndstooth pad shows its age with cracks in the padding. The pad is completely in tact though. Vtg 1950's MCM Teak Sculpted Lounge Chair Selig Larsen Eames Denmark
This is a very nice genuine vintage teak or perhaps light walnut lounge chair. Condition is all original and good with moderate wear to the finish especially on the arms and lower legs with some rub wear to the top. The only structural issue is a partial crack in the rear leg. The leg is still strong and no wood is missing. It is missing both rear plastic feet tips. The removable straps are in very good condition and strong. The fabric label is missing from the underneath back but some of the label remnants remain. I am listing this as pick up only. I am 20 minutes north of Hartford CT but shipping is also possible via Greyhound freight or similar service so please contact me for a quote. Metro NYC is estimated at just $50. Thank you!

HISTORY: Up for auction is a vintage original Eames Herman Miller dining height chair(DAX) with molded fiberglass rope edge shell in Lemon Yellow color. The shell retains very rare Herman Miller label commonly referred as" half label" The shell rests on an early black x-rod base with Dome of Silence glides. The chair was designed by Charles Eames and manufactured by the Herman Miller Furniture Company and Summit Polymers Injection Molded Thermoplastics. Inc. in the late 1960's. The chair is known for it's comfort and durability. The shell is produced from fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Originally, the fiberglass was being used during the war by Zenith Plastics to reinforce plastic on airplane radar domes. In according to the Eames fiberglass standard shell colors catalogue, this color was specified as LY(Lemon Yellow) This ... moreshell has large shock mounts. This very 50's color is one of the most popular and desirable colors of the Eames fiberglass shells. CONDITION REPORT: This chair is in very good condition for its age. The shell clean. Shows LOTS of FIBER and still retains it's original gleaming luster. The color is still bright with no fading. The color in all close photos is the closest to the original color of the shell. Looks very good! The original gel coating is intact! The early large shock mounts are in good original condition, shows some straight base marks and have NOT been re-glued. The front shock mounts shows some slight"bleeding" which is very common issue for all early translucent shells of that period. The exterior of the shell sows some age spots(please view photos) Some min. wear to the edge of the shell. Nothing major but we have to mention this for the accuracy of the description. The shell still has the rare half black and white label as proof of it's authenticity. The label is in very good condition and it reads: Herman Miller Furniture Company Designed by Charles Eames" The HM foil label is no longer there. The black x- rod base was repainted and
