It was designed and manufactured by Drexel in the late 1960's. It has a solid wood frame with brass medallions and very nice yellow tufted and upholstered pillow top. It is in very nice condition with no breaks or repairs and only some very minor signs of wear. There is one yellow tassel missing as shown. There are no holes. Tears, or signs of wear to the fabric. Vintage 5 Piece French Provincial King Headboard Drexel Heritage Pained Flowers
Dresser is about 5 foot 6 inches long. 18 inches deep and 33 inches tall. Dresser- The 3 drawers on the left and the three on the right are all the same size on the dresser. The inside measures about 16 inches wide. 14 inches deep and 6 inches tall. The center 3 drawers in the center are larger and the inside measures about 22 1/4 inches wide. 2- Night Stands- measure about 32 inches wide. 15 1/2 inches deep and 22 inches tall. The inside drawers are about 25 1/2 inches wide, 11 1/4 deep and 4 3/4 inches tall. One of the night stands has a stain on the corner( see picture) They also have some discoloration or stains around the inside part of the handle were your fingers would rub when you open the drawers. Not sure if this will clean off or not. The headboard measures about 49 inches tall and 80 inches wide. I believe this is a king size ... morebed. The slots on the feet were you would put the rails on the headboard measure 75 1/2 inches to the inside holes and 77 1/2 inches to the outside holes. The headboard also has some discoloration from age. Again. Not sure if this could be cleaned or not(see pictures) Made of the solid construction for which Drexel is famous. Heritage bedroom set is beautifully painted with flowers and includes large Dresser. Mirror, two nightstands and headboard. In very good condition with a couple of marks and mild discoloration as described above. The inside of the drawers are like new and they slide in an out just fine. Very well made. With superb mid century form, it rolls on brass wheels, with travertine bar top insert in top, unique brass door hardware and drawer inside. Open shelving on either side, both sides finished. Not only a superb piece stylewise and with an excellent pedigree, it is also the perfect medium size- it is a very well made substantial and heavy piece-but small enough to maneuver easily around the cocktail party! VINTAGE/ANTIQUE 4 PIECE DREXEL BEDROOM SET
Up for auction is a vintage/antique Drexel 4 piece bedroom set. This is nice sturdy furniture from the days when things were made to last. I believe my parents bought it in 1958 or 1959. I don’t know much about furniture but I’ll describe them as best I can. The dresser measures approx. 52” wide by 21” deep by 36” high. Has six deep drawers, and matching mirror. The top drawer on both sides has a sliding jewelry tray. Next is the chest of drawers. It stands approx.48” high by 20”deep by 36” wide. There are five drawers. Each a little deeper than the other from top to bottom, ranging from 4” to 18” The top drawer also has a sliding jewelry tray. Third is the night stand. Its dimensions are 28” high by 16” deep by 20” wide. It has one drawer and shelf space underneath. Last but not least is the regular size bed frame. I have the head and foot ... moreboards and the 2 side boards; however I don’t know what became of the slats that hold the mattress and box spring up. This set is used. It has some scratches and chips here and there. There is a reddish stain on the dressers top. Possibly from a perfume spill. Also, when I took the mirror off, I found a brown stain, for lack of a better description, that was hidden underneath that seems to have eaten part of the laminate. We are pleased to offer this incredible. Mid Century Modern desk! Superbly manufactured by the Drexel Heritage Furniture Company, this beautiful and functional desk features Mid Century sleek styling and has a splendid low profile. The desk is has a raised back section and accommodates two side, and very deep, roll top drawers. There is a recessed area in between the roll top sides. This area contains two small drawers(one on top of the other) which are flanked by two opened slot sections for mail, keys, etc. The writing section is directly in front of this area. There are 3 drawers at the desk front, a large center drawer and two identical, smaller side drawers. The desk is crafted from fruitwood(strongly grained) with inlay/stencil trim along the front. Sides and back of the desk. It is stained in a medium/to dark color with the inlay/stencil ... morein a lighter finish. There is an extensive use of brass trim and hardware. Large brass inset drawer pulls adorn the lower front section along with decorative brass fasteners. The desk attaches to two wooden X leg bases. The bases are faux gilded and slightly distressed. There are large, wooden, faux gilded knob finials on the end of each leg(both top and bottom of the legs) The desk is marked under a side drawer. It is from the Drexel line of Oxford Square and the piece is dated 1/1971. This is rare. Hard to find piece. It is exceptional both in style and in quality. It is in very good condition with expected signs of age/use. There is one water glass mark on the top which is not too distracting. There are, of course, minor scuffs. However, overall the desk looks fantastic with minimal scarring. We purchased the desk along with a matching end table. It is listed separately. The desk is 35" tall. It is 54" long and is 24" deep(desk section) and 25.5" deep from the wooden finials. This is a mahogany banquet table that comes with two oversized double pedestal Queen Anne pad foot multi-turned floral carved leg ... morebases and sits upon a triple leaf rope molded edge 45-degree. It was made by the Drexel Furniture Company back in the early 1940s. We've refinished the top to remove nicks and dings and to make sure the leaves match the rest of the table so you can easily leave them exposed. The table comes with three leaves; two are regular leaves and one is skirted. It's in a dark reddish-brown finish and we do have the matching chairs and a sideboard that we're offering. Please check our site to make sure they are still available. It measures 62 inches long. 42 inches deep, and 31 inches high without the leaves. When the three 12-inch leaves are inserted, the table becomes 98 inches long. The table is a medium wood with a 3 grain pattern on the top. It is 20" tall and 22" across. It has several dings a scratches on the side and legs and some rings on the top. I tried to picture as much as I can. I am not a furniture expert but I think it is a lovely accent piece for that special spot in the home. I try to picture and describe things as best I can but I appreciate any questions or input. In order to insure it's safety I am using extra packaging so It may seem heavier than it is. DECO TIGER MAPLE VANITY 1920s DREXEL
Rare Drexel vanity from the 1920s or 30s. The exterior is done in beautiful Tiger Mable veneer. The finish I far from perfect. But all of the veneer is there and ready for refinishing. All of the hardware is original and complete. One piece of trim is missing from the left lower side. Originally came with a round mirror, and you can see where it was attached to the back. All of the drawers are dovetailed and the wood inside is also maple. There are six metal feet that also appear to be original.
