NOS 1940's Crane DREXEL Bathroom sink Parisian Red designed by HENRY DREYFUS
NEW OLD STOCK/ NOS 1940's vintage Crane Drexel series bathroom sink. I have recently found out that this was apparently designed by Henry Dreyfus who was famous for many Art Moderne or Streamline products of the ART DECO era. This was recently found along with other New Crane sinks.some still in the original Crane crates. This sink measures approximately 27" wide and 21" in depth. It is a wall mount sink that could be optioned with chrome legs and chrome towel bars. The color is RED.according to another e-bayer it is called Parisian Red. It looks like a raspberry color to me. It has the original chrome plated knobs. Basin fitting and pop-up assembly. This sink is well balanced and well suited for wall mounting.I took photos of the sink as it balanced on the basin fitting which is impressive given the size and weight. The condition ... moreis very good excellent. The porcelain is pretty nice with some minor scratches. There are some minor scratches to the front area and some on the side that will not be very visible. The chrome is also very nice with some minor imperfections to the knobs. Antique Drexel China Cabinet 1957 Counterpoint
I have a Drexel china cabinet from 1957 as it says on back that was my grandmother's. It is very pretty. It does show wear from age. It has scuff marks and ends of shelves and bottom of door has sign of chip. The front of cabinet door has something sticky like gum or something but I was able to start getting some of it out. So should not be hard to get out. The right side has a white paint spot that I showed in pictures. This was facing wall so never noticeable. I described the cabinet to the best of my ability. Look at pictures. Overall this drexel china cabinet made by counterpoint is a classic antique piece and I have not seen another. 1950's DREXEL CHAIR SET OF 4, FRENCH IN THE COUNTRY MANNER
This is a set of four Drexel dining chairs made for a short period beginning in the middle 1950's and ending in the early 1960's. The pattern is called'French In The Country Manner' American Made by a quality furniture company. There are 2 chairs with arms and 2 without arms. These have rush seating and appear in good used condition. The furniture finish is in overall solid condition with minimal signs of use or wear. The chair back height is 47" The seat is 19-1/2" wide at the outside post and 18-1/2" deep. Each weighs about a little less than 20lbs. I do not have a capability to package these for shipping. However. There is a local business which I have utilized for chairs in the past and those customers were very satisfied with the packaging and price for shipment.
