With inside closet measurements of 20" deep x 16-1/2" wide x 56" high. The drawers are dovetailed and four drawers are 15-1/4" x 14-3/4" x 8" deep. The fifth(top) drawer measures the same accept it is 6" deep. The mirrored top adds 6" to that side height measurement. Overall, the original casters add 2" to the height. They also make it easy to move. The knobs and pulls are of a white metal with marbleized pink thermoplastic decoration-celluloid or Catalin. Etc. It is a quality wardrobe in very good solid condition. There are very small pieces of veneer missing mostly on the bottom. There is a tiny piece missing on the top edge of the third drawer down and a crease in the front of the second drawer from the top. The mirror has some small issues. This piece was purchased by my mother as a place to keep her many crochet projects and to store her completed afghans. It served her well over the years. All her things are being sold off. Solid wormy ash and oak hardwood was hand planed and attached with carved wooden pegs on this historic furniture from France. Hand carved in northern France. The removable upper galleries would have displayed a woman's family pewter and china- these heirlooms and the cabinet were part of a bride's dowry, descending through daughters. Large Rare Primitive 1800's Jelly Cupboard-Porcelian Handle
A jelly cupbaord which was removed from a 1890's home. It was in the basement sitting on a dirt floor which is the cause of the damages. Not sure what type wood or how old but I purchased the home in 1977 from a 78 yr old women at that time. There is some damage around the bottom but it still stands sturdy. There is also some damage to the top but it has not gone thru. There is a small porcelian handle. The cupboad measures 57.5" tall(61" tall with the front lip) 30.5" wide and 16 11/16" deep and has 4 shelves. This is very old and just needs some TLC. Email me for more photos. Antique Wall Corner Cabinet Cupboard Raised Panels Gorgeous Wood
For your consideration. A gorgeous antique corner cupboard. With raised panel door, and antique brass hardware. A beautiful antique. In as-found condition, ready for you to put in your home! I believe this cupboard to be made of pine. It is 28.5” high. 14.5” deep, and 28.25” wide at the widest point(the top corners) The back of the cupboard is open. So your gorgeous wall color will show through. The two interior shelves are painted white. The outside of the cupboard is natural with protective coat on it. The patina on this is just lovely. There is some wear to the bottom left corner. And the back piece is a bit separated from the main piece(see pictures) Some extra nails/screws and general tightening up will address these issues. There is also a chunk of wood taken out of the top right corner(again. Pictured) which would be easily covered ... morewith stain/polish. Again. This is in as-found condition.
