Hello. For auction I have an extreme primitive cupboard doll. This was made from muslin. Painted and grunged. I have pinch stitched the nose and mouth on her. I have stitched her eyes. She is wearing a grunged cheesecloth apron. This was stitched on. I also attached rusty safety pins with rusty bells. I have attached a grunged circle hangtag by a rusty safety pin. This has'olde doll' stamped on it. This measures approximately 9" tall. This was made using a pattern by The Raggedy Olde Crow. I am not good with dating things: This has original paint, turn knobs on front cabinets, not sure if white ones are original? This was in the back of a garage, the screening is discolored on bottom pieces, I think that would be a easy fix. On one door a piece shaped 1/2 moon is missing on door, pretty close to edge, so not real noticable. On top several places where the nails are, wood split, but not deep or thru. Looks like it was up against something, some white marks on one side, again should clean up ok. Neat old wood on back, at bottom, looks aliitle weathered. Someone wrote roman numerals across back, alittle light. There are 2 front doors, each front screen measures 33 x15 1/2. 2 side screens ... more8 x33. 4 shelves inside, heavy wood. they measure 48x15x1. It is 46 in tall including legs. 49 wide, 17 deep. This corner cabinet measures approximately 32 ½” wide by 65 ¼” tall and is perfect in any room to display those wonderful items you cherish. ~ BUY IT NOW ~* 2 vintage old time 1930s cabinet door latches. I believe these are brass. But it is hard to tell due to the ivory tone paint covering surface. Both latches function perfectly on a well made spring, and original screws are included. Paint is of course removable and has perhaps preserved the metal underneath nicely- I see some darkening on metal that shows, but no rust or corrosion. Each latch measures 1 1/2" long(tall) And screw holes are 1 1/8" apart(measured from mid-point of hole opening. These are getting very hard to find. Domestic shipping is FREE and via USPS First Class Mail. International shipping will be at the rate found using the Ebay Shipping Calculator. I bought this beautiful 1800's primitive beaded board cupboard 20 years ago in a little bakers shop near Golden. Colorado. I often think of the many hands that have open these doors and the uses it has had. From days of pies it held, to my once little boys dinosaurs and toys, in later years we used as a pantry, it is one of my favorite pieces. I hate to let it go. It is one of those items I will always miss. But due to health reasons we are downsizing and we cannot take it with us. This corner cabinet is 57" H x 56 1/2" L on the front x 27" W on the two sides. Original finish to my knowledge it has never been painted. Great display cabinet. You must pick up we will not ship. We are 30 minutes from Hagerstown. MD and 50 minutes from Frederick, MD. 2 Lucite Resin Flower Cupboard Door handles 1950's retro vintage
Two lovely flower Lucite resin cupboard door or sliding door handles. Dating back to the 50s these were removed from a house I was renovating over 20 years ago and have lain in my garden shed for many years doing nothing. These will look terrific with either vintage style decor or contrasting ultra modern decor. These are hard to come by now and are actually very pretty and unuasual. The one with the pink flowers measures 7.5" x 1" The other measures just under 7" x just over 0.5" Both have 2 chrome fittings with two screw holes per fitting to attach these to a door. Made in England is stamped on the rear of the smaller handles fittings. Paypal payment only please. Handles appear to have brass patina but are actually cast iron(magnet sticks to all parts of latches and catches) Paint and other material has been cleaned off gently with non-corrosive cleaning and brass brushes. There are 2 doors with windows.each 16 inches wide x 30 inches tall the windows are 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches square.the long windows are 20 1/2 inches tall. There is peeling yellow paint and a layer of blue paint is visible under that. The inside of the doors are painted a terra cotta.
