This line is by far and away the best the Stanley offered in the era. In my ... moreopinion. I am selling the matching gentleman's dresser, or highboy, separately. Both pieces have been refinished, but missing veneer work was not done, so, as you can see in pics 4& 8 there is slight edge veneer loss at the front side corners. In pic 5 you can barely see that the veneer has been re-glued. There are a few nicks here and there, and there are hardware circles around a couple of the drawer pulls, where the handles have been rotated and made a circle in the wood around. The hardware, as well as the design, makes this piece much more eye catching, with steel pulls and horizontal rosewood tips on each pull. This piece measures 54" x 32" x 18" deep. There are 6 drawers. Shipping will be done via freight or local pick up. If you live near Orlando(32804)I can deliver for free. If you live outside of Orlando please message me for a fuel charge. Very well made. All wood. I believe it is walnut with beautiful rosewood flutes on the 2 doors. 12 drawers total. Overall good to very good condition. I have not seen this piece with these mirrors. The mirrors are wonderful. Owned by my grandparents and used as their bedroom dresser, original owners. Most noticeable blemish is a chip on the rosewood flute on the left door as seen in the pictures. I used a AAA battery to give some perspective on the blemish. I will answer any questions best I can. This is a magnificent solid oak 3 piece executive office set. The desk has 6 drawers in front and 3 slide out writing or work areas. One on each side and one on the back. The desktop is 36" wide by 72" in length. The surfaces on all 3 pieces are unmarred of any major damage. The credenza does have a wear mark on one corner that looks like it was rubbed against something. The mark is about an inch long. I didn't want to restain it as someone else may want to restore it differently. The credenza has 4 doors that click open for access to shelves. The book case is all oak also with wire mesh incorporated in the doors. All the hinges and drawers work smoothly and perfectly like new. The drawers are high quality ball bearing like you would expect from Alex Stewart Design. Large Credenza in the Adams Style circa 1890
One large credenza in the Adams style. A large wall cabinet piece consisting of a wide base cabinet fitted with doors and compartments upon which rests an upper structure of almost equal height and width which is also fitted with both open and glazed compartments for displaying a collection of dishes. Etc. The base compartment has a pair of large doors in the center, flanked by smaller doors glazed/beveled glass. The upper compartment is likewise fitted with doors. Glazed with beveled glass. The primary woods are rosewood and mahogany over a carcass of mixed softwood(pine) and hardwood. The piece is elaborately decorated in rich marquetry-work in stylized vases and swags in the Adams style of the 18th century. The marquetry woods are satinwood. This is a fabulous vintage 60s dark walnut hutch made by Basic Witz in Waynesboro. VA. This hutch is 2 pieces, a credenza with a 2 door cupboard on top. The inside of the top cupboard has 3 shelves with plate notches on the backs of the shelves. The credenza doors have rattan on the fronts. This hutch is top quality fine craftsmanship that you find in high end mid century furniture. The hutch measures 66" tall, 48" wide and it is 15" deep. It is in excellent condition. On close inspection it shows some normal vintage scuffs and wear but no abuse. There is wear to the handle notches on the top cupboard which can't be seen with the doors closed. The legs also show some scuffing. The inside bottoms of the drawers have some ink marks. The top of the credenza shows slightly darker where the top cupboard has been sitting on it ... morefor 50+ years. Its the perfect piece for a those with limited or hard to fit space but still want the beauty and function of a LONG sleek credenza. There is literally zero footprint on the floor and its narrow depth allows placement in tight areas where most credenzas of this length would never work. Beautifully made of both solid teak and teak veneer over wood. It features a very wide open storage shelf space with two long sliding doors flanked on either side by 6 pull out drawers. Drawers are all felt lined and have lovely integrated teak ill handles. The piece can really take on different looks depending on how you place the doors(see the many many pics below for examples) or you could remove them if you want a ... morenice open display area. This is a very solid and super functional with nice detail and richness to the teak. It mounts to your wall via an integrated teak bar system using five wall anchors/ bolts. There is no visible means of support once up giving a very clean and slick look. We would suggest butterfly anchors for drywall and will include some with the credenza. If you have a solid wall like brick or the like. You will need to get the proper type of bolts at your local home center or hardware store. We do not come across pieces like this in this scale often.
