I am selling this antique mahogany china cabinet which I believe to be from the early 1900's. The overall condition is good with some minor wear on the piece. The cabinet measures 47" wide x 76 1/2 tall x 19 1/2" deep. The glass door has a etching on it and there are shelves on the inside. The bottom door opens to reveal more storage space. There are labels on the back that say it is manufactured by Montour Furniture Co. in Montour PA. The other label says it was sold by H.W. Berry Co in Cambridge Mass. I am also going to add our Cape Cod Glassware collection at no extra charge. It consists of about 50 pieces some of which are still in their boxes. Oak Carved 1885 Antique French China or Dowry Cabinet. Hand carved of solid oak about 1885. This stately china cabinet was traditionally part of a bride's dowry. Richly detailed panels are executed in high relief. Columns are fluted and there are galleries. Brass hardware is original and drawers have hand cut dovetails on this furniture from northern France. The top surface has been revarnished for durability and stain resistance. Otherwise. The original finish is very well preserved, freshly waxed and buffed- it needs only any occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its antique patina. For character, there are a few mars, wormholes and stains, especially at the bottom. Also, doors and some columns have warps due to age, see photos. The cabinets are both finished in walnut. Ethan Allen Classic Manor Three Door Buffet/China Cabinet Hutch, Maple/Birch
Offered for sale is an Ethan Allen Vintage Classic Manor Maple/Birch Three Door Buffet and China Cabinet Hutch. This lovely china cabinet/buffet is item#15-6006/15-6008 and was manufactured in the1960's I believe. The Ethan Allen logo which is stamped in the drawer uses a font that was used in the 1960's. The buffet and china cabinet can be found on page#93 of the 68th edition Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. This buffet features three doors with a removable and adjustable shelf behind two right doors; three tray drawers behind left facing door; and the upper drawer fitted with Pacific cloth silver tray; see pics#4. 5) The china cabinet features removable and adjustable wood framed glass shelves behind crowned glass doors; grooved base plate rails for display of dishes; built in light for display purposes. The ... moremeasurements of the china cabinet top are 56.5" wide at the top of the crown x 46" high x 14.75" deep. The buffet measures 56" wide x 30" high x 19" deep. Overall measurements are 76" high x 56.5" wide x 19" deep. The china cabinet and buffet are in excellent condition with the following exceptions: there are scratches on the top of the buffet(see pic#6. 7) which are mostly covered by the china top and a couple chips along the bottom base. There is a stain in the middle left tray drawer(see pic#9) and there is a red appx. 1" round stain on the interior buffet cabinet(see pic#8) Also, someone had tape on the wood(probably in the 60's or 70's) that left some residue on a couple areas of the door fronts. I was not able to capture a picture of this because the tape seems to have become part of the finish. I have discounted the price to reflect these cosmetic issues. This is a mahogany dinning room table. With 6 chairs, china cabinet, credenza, and shelf. This was my grandparents set before they pasted away. I've had it since so there is some wear to the items. I've tried to take pictures of the marks so you can see then better. I believe this set dates back to 1930 or 1940. None of the items in the credenza. Shelf or china cabinet is for sale or come with the set. I'm asking $1200 for the entire set. Table is 42" wide x 59 1/2" long x 29" high. 1 leaf that is 12' wide. China cabinet is 15" wide x 39" long x 80" high. It has glass up top with the middle opening up. The bottom has three drawers. And three cabinets. Vintage China Cabinet—Retro on a Budget!
This no-reserve auction offers a vintage 2-piece china cabinet. There are no maker’s marks. We believe this is from the 1960s. If you don’t have a million bucks but like retro styling. This is for you! This cabinet was never a high end piece.but it has style. It’s made out of wood but it has some sort of weird blonde laminate. I don’t think the laminate is real wood veneer. Probably some sort of photo finish. The top part of the bottom cabinet is formica. The front slider doors are masonite. It has both original glass sliders on the top cabinet. The condition is pretty decent for what it is. There are some scratches here and there on the veneer. And there’s some corrosion on the retro metal legs…nothing major. Again. This is a pretty cheap piece. But it presents very well and it definitely has a retro. Mid-century look. The condition can ... morebe seen in the photos. The cabinet(both pieces) measures: 41 1/2” W x 56 3/4” H x 17 1/2” D. The weight is a guess. Somewhere around 75 lbs. We have no way to accurately weigh this item. ANTIQUE DINING SET WALNUT BRICKWEDE BROTHERS These two pieces item were originally purchased in 1941 in Cranford. New Jersey with one owner for many decades. China Hutch/Cabinet Sideboard The China Cabinet is a solid piece with a clear glass panel that highlights fine china and glassware remarkably. Overall height is 74 inches; width is 40 inches; depth is 17 inches. The China Hutch top portion has a single 9 pane glass and wood opening center door with two three paned glass fixed side panels. The Drawer and Storage area has a sliding drawer and two burled walnut doors. All drawer and cabinet hardware is original brass. Inside the Storage Area is an additional full width shelf that is 10 inches deep measured from its back wall. An oval Brickwede brass tag can be found in the top drawer of the China Cabinet which possibly dates this furniture ... moreback to the early 1940's(see Brickwede Bros. notes below or google if unsure. The Sideboard Cabinet is matching and dated with inspection tag from October 1941. Overall measurements are 54 inches long x 17 inches wide x 36 inches high with a front that swerves out as shown in picture. Sideboard has two drawers at top, one full length drawer in middle and three opening doors at the bottom as show in picture. Hardware is original brass and all parts are in working condition. Some of drawers contain original black felt lining. Beautiful construction inside and out. You are bidding on a handsome china cabinet designed by Gilbert Rohde. As described in the Herman Miller company catalog of 1940. The No. 4190 china cabinet was part of the"Paldao" line, named after the Philippine wood known for its strong color contrasts. The curved cabinet door faces were covered in Acacia Burl, accented with the rare brass handles. Most of the handles were produced in wood, as there were wartime metal shortages. The brass versions were the earliest to be produced, or available after the war by a coupon redemption.
