And it is not too dirty and worn. Back side looks to be a red velvet or felt material. The ornate latch is present but does not work. The bindings are a little loose but still intact. This piece originally had cabinet card photos in it when I found it, and I have been selling off the cards separately. The picture holes roughly fit 6"X4" maybe 7"X5" cards. Pages inside are a little dirty in places and have some smaller tears here and there. Overall great piece to use with your photos or to display. YOU WON'T FIND ANOTHER! The other book looks to have a metal soldier on the front. Possibly a Civil War soldier. The front and back are a soft cloth material. Bindings are a little loose but still functional. A few dirty spots on the outside and inside. Some of the pages have rips or tears. This book can house different sizes of photos within the pages. The latch on the side does not work. There are 3 drawer pulls that match and one more that matches but it is broken and missing the handle. The three that are intac t are bent up as can be seen in the photos below. The larger drawer pull's handle will attach but it is not secure and comes off easily. This drawer pull has a number molded into the back and it has also been painted which can also be seen in the pictures. The drawer knob has also been painted. These may be made of brass I am not positive but a magnet does not stick to them. Antique Children's Metal Desk/Tabletop
My ABC's This is an old. Children's activities or school desk top. I'm guessing the vintage is 1940's or earlier. I'm pretty sure this is enamel, but it may be porcelain. The letters of the alphabet float over artwork of a ring circus performance. The ringleader is named Jack, and three of the big cats are named Rajah, Mike and Mary. A seal on a drum sits over the numbers 1 to 10. Really sweet illustrations of children at play decorate each of the desk's four corners. The size is 24" wide x 20.25" high x 1" thick. The condition is"aged" with obvious children's use. There are chips, scratches and some rusting. This is a sturdy item weighing in at almost 10 lbs. This would be a unique display item in a kid's activities room, or maybe a pre-school or child care center. Good luck bidding!

Gunn Mfg Co S-Roll Top Desk, Antique
What you see for sale is a very good quality 50" S-Roll top desk with raised panels and many cubbies and drawers inside. The desk is in very good condition having been professionally restored in the summer of 2012. The desk was fully stripped and sanded and then restained. The desk was made by the Gunn MFG Company in Grand Rapids. MI. For a little history on The Gunn Company read below. Measurements are 50"W 35"D 50"H. Gunn Furniture Co.s history can be traced back to 1874. When William S. Gunn started selling furniture at his Grand Rapids hardware store. In 1890 he incorporated his own manufacturing firm, the Gunn Folding Bed Co. Because the popularity of folding beds was waning fast, three years later he changed his company's name to the Gunn Furniture Co. and started making desks, bookcases, files and other office ... morefurniture. The woods he used included walnut, oak and mahogany. The firm was sold in 1953 to Bergsma Brothers, Inc. also of Grand Rapids. Bergsma Brothers closed in 1985. So that means. I received this bracelet almost 50 years ago from my first husband's family in IRAQ. And it was old then. It is silver with very intricate detailed hand work. The center medallion has scallop edges with two small circles which are filled with scroll work and a central bead. There is a large oval filled with tiny beads. On top of this oval is another oval with a black background and hand-etched camel& pyramids. Joined to this center medallion are two side pieces which have intricate scroll work. Tiny beads, and a triangular piece. One section has a black background with etched monuments. And the other side piece has a palm tree and a sail boat with black background.
