This is a superb solid mahogany vanity dressing table made in England circa 1900. To the base it has a knee hole or some times in England years ago they used to let the dog sleep in there.They called it a dog kennel, it has the original cut glass handle. The top has the original beveled mirror. And to either side there are two small trinket drawers for jewelry etc. Condition is very good. The top comes of the base so its easy to transport. Antique Mahogany Vanity and Wastand or Chest Made In England
These are a very nice pair of Dressing Table and Washstand made in England circa 1900. There are 3 satinwood panels to the back of the Washstand, it also has the original cut glass handles, to the base it has what used to call a dog kennel were the dog would sleep below to the center. This would have at one time had a bowl and pitcher on the top were people would wash them selves. The condition is very good. The Vanity is in very good condition has all the same details as the Washstand but with a mirror and two trinket boxes to the top. I purchased these about 15 years ago Four Piece Set of Apothecary Style Bottles Each Milk Glass(white opaque) bottle has a stopper style lid and are decorated with hand painted florals on all four sides and the top of the lids and highlighted with gold striping The tallest is about 8 1/2" and the smaller ones are about 6" with the lids on Probably European in origin and they have polished pontils There is some slight wear to the gold striping. Mostly on the middle size one, which also has some chipping to the top edge. The stopper for the largest bottle is stuck in the bottle and i didnt try to remove it. Antique Porcelain Hand Painted Dresser Vanity Tray Dish O&EG Royal Austria
The O&EG Royal mark of Oscar& Edgar Gutherz- Austria-dates this lovely hand painted porcelain oblong dresser tray from 1889 to 1918. The expertly designed sprays of delicate blue and white flowers with foliage are arranged on a background of white and added hints of blue. Cream and a very light suggestion of rosey beige at top for contrast. There is no fading of the colors. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. I see 3-4 tiny pin size specks, obviously done during the production of the piece and in no way detracting from the beauty of this approximately 100 yr. old collectible. Straight from my bureau comes this lovely antique beveled plateau mirror. True antiqued brass on scrolled flower feet has a lovely slight shine to it. Measures 10” inches across& about 1 ½” inches in height. Mirror is thick with good reflection& only has a ½” spot of clouding. However it does have a few scratches on the glass. It looked fine on my bureau& your focus is on the bottles anyway. Good, solid construction- well made& heavy. These really are a beautiful accent to a grouping of bottles& this is a great size. Was used as a pickle jar but would look stunning on your dresser or in the bathroom, it stands 11cm tall + the lid 7cm to tip of the silver plate top knot. X 7.5cm diameter, the glass is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage noted, the lid however is showing its age with a lot of the silver worn and the rim rough with nibbles. The pattern is best described by U.S. Glass from its 1909 catelogue as"A shapely pattern with indent figured circles. Antique Victorian Vanity Box w/Gorham Sterling Silver Hair Brush & 2 Perfumes
This listing is for an antique. Victorian vanity case with beveled mirror, two pressed glass perfume bottles, and a sterling silver hair brush. There is also a comb with case, but the comb is broken. The brush was made by Gorham, has their hallmark, and is marked Sterling 91. The comb case is marked: 9D S&F. I haven't been able to identify the company, and I don't know if this is sterling or plated. As you can see in the photos, the vanity box needs to be re-covered, the velvet is very worn and coming off the box. It measures 9.5" high, and 10.5"x4.5" across the bottom. The hinges and handle are all in good shape. The mirror is about 6.75"x5.25" There is minor loss to the silvering. The perfume bottles are 4" tall and 1.25" across the bottom. You are bidding on 4 different antique Sterling Silver vanity sets. All are%100.00 hallmarked sterling silver. I could only upload the 12 photos you see here but I would be more than happy to email interested bidders as many as they like. The first set pictured is made by International Sterling and is just the mirror and brush. It is in good overall shape with the mirror having a little hazing. As you can see in the pictures it is monogrammed. But not quite sure what the initials are. The second set is made by Birks and consists of a brush, mirror. Nail file and the sterling holder for a comb but the comb is missing. All pieces are monogrammed with a N and again clearly hallmarked Birks Sterling. Overall the condition is good with slight clouding in the mirror. The nail file has some corrosion on the file portion. The 3rd set is hallmarked ... more925R sterling and consists of a brush. Mirror, scissors, nail file and comb holder which is missing the comb. Each piece of the set is monogrammed with a D. The scissors in the set have some corrosion on the cutting portions which are not silver, but overall condition is good. the 4th set is hallmarked Birks Sterling and consists of a brush and mirror only. Both pieces are monogrammed with a C. The brush is in great shape but the mirror portion of the set has come loose and there is some small dents around the mirror edges. Also included is 2 smaller brushes(last picture) both are ornate and hallmarked Sterling Silver. The smaller one is hallmarked Sterling while the larger one is hallmarked F&B Sterling. 1907. In total there are 15 pieces of Sterling Silver up for grabs. My local antique dealer offered me $350.00 for everything so that's what I'm started the bidding at. Again. ANTIQUE VANITY SET BAKELITE DRESSER HAND MIRROR VINTAGE LOOKING GLASS
This is a very old vanity or dresser set in great condition. The items appear to be bakelite but I am going by what I was told when I purchased the lot at an estate sale. The pictures show the pieces to have a design or it might be stains that bleed throughout the backs with metal tear drops in the center. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. I only used water to clean these because I did not want to jeapordize damaging the set with any chemicals. The measurements are as follows. Mirror: 10 inches long X 3 1/2 inches wide. Brush: 8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches wide. File: 6 3/4 inches long X 1 inch wide. Container or Storage Box: 7 inches long X 2 inches wide x 1 inch deep. Victorian bronze handle on the front, the box opens and closes on hinges in the back and is in good shape. the top has a nice domed shape and the bottom is footed. it measures 12 3/4 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches tall by 8 inches back to front great early wooden box with a nice patina from age. in good shape. Greetings and welcome to our auction. Today we are offering a VERY PRETTY dresser vanity set. This set includes a HAIR RECEIVER and POWDER DISH. In the last photo I wanted to show you a vanity tray that is in a seperate listing and does not come with these two pieces. The hair receiver and powder dish are both marked on the bottom: M Z Austria. Classic. They feature a hand painted floral pattern with VIOLETS. I found the artist's initials. A.M.B. on one of the lids. They are footed with gold painted legs and there's gold trim around the outside edge on the lids. The pieces measure about 3 3/4" high and 4 3/4" across at the widest point. They appear to be in very nice. Gently used vintage condition. I don't see any knicks, chips or cracks. There is slight wear or fading of the gold paint. All in all a beautiful set. So ... moreif you've been wanting to add something special to your home decor you just might want to consider these. Antique Lg Capodimonte Style Porcelain Dresser or Vanity Box. Signed"Crowned N" Available for your consideration is this beautiful Antique Round Dresser or Vanity Box. The inticate mold work features a white box with gold gilted sides and trim. Applied delicate flowers cover the lid. Interior base decorated with floral scene. Measures approx. 6 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall. Marked on the bottom with a capital N and Crown. Good vintage condition. Gold trim shows wear on the lid edge.
