This Berkey& Gay dining set consists of a 3-leaf table. 8 chairs, 1 china hutch, 1 buffet and 1 sideboard. It is made of walnut, with many sections being bookmatched figured walnut- absolutely beautiful. All pieces are matching, and feature the metal medallion used in Berkey& Gay's furniture from the 1920's-1940's. Our best guess is that these pieces were made in the 20's. They're in excellent condition for this vintage. You'll see some very slight damage, shown in the last 4 photos. I am selling a beautiful mahogany(what we think is mahogany) tilt-top table that has been in my family for many years. I am not sure of it's exact age. Or if it is an original or reproduction. It is well-made, no cracks or nicks, nor signs of previous repairs. There are signs of normal wear and tear in the finish, which I have tried to show in the pictures. Antique Parlor Table...Liquidating 92 Year Old Mother's Apartment!
This is an old parlor table. Has been in our family for decades. Was originally my grandmothers, my mother inherited it from her and mother is 92 years old. Don't know the exact age. Think the style is Georgian and the wood mahogany or cherry. It has an inlaid leather top. Was used in Mom's living room as a book table. There are a few pieces of veneer missing, scratches and scuff marks but in the right hands it can be restored to it's original splendor. The table rotates on its pedestal base. Antique Art Nouveau Huge Bronze Crystal 44" tall Table Lamp Angel Cherub Vintage
Beautiful and incredibly unique Art Nouveau antique lamp. 44" tall x 15" diameter(at widest point) 5 tiers of hanging drop crystals shimmer with golden yellows or with blues. Greens, purples, depending on the angle the light is hitting them. 108 tear drop crystals + 108 small connector crystals + 36 medallion crystals, for a total of 252 crystals. 5 of the original crystals are missing, but I have 5 replacement crystals on order. The base. The stem, the rings, etc have a bronze finish. I believe it's a heavy plating, as I pulled off a piece near the top of the stem and it looks like bronze over copper(see last pic) There may be other metals, but the bronze finish looks great and has a nice patina. The base and all the way up the stem(and the crystal embedded rings) are magnificently ornate. The curved steel wire type crystal ... moreholders(top two tiers) have some oxidation, but should clean up with a little steel wool. Vtg Antique GE 16" Oscillating Electric Brass Blade Desk Table Fan Working
Antique General Electric 16 in. Brass Blade Oscillating Fan Nameplate Reads: 110v DC TYPE- DO FORM- AD2 No. E 243409 CAT- 6056 Spec- 272079 Measures about 20 in. tall overall. With a 17 1/2 in. wide guard and 16 in. blade. All of the parts are original including the twisted cloth wall cord and head cord. It was repainted black a long time ago. It doesn't look very bad. As you can see from the photos, but it isn't a professional job. You can see some of the brush strokes once you really start looking and they painted the head cord and guard while they were at it. It's in great mechanical condition. It's fully tested and it works and oscillates on all three speeds. And everything operates as it should. The blades are balanced and it doesn't make any more noise than it should or erratically vibrate. It's not bad cosmetically ... moreeither. Even despite the repaint it puts on a pretty good show. The felt on the bottom is destroyed. And there's a light dent and some surface rust on the bottom plate. It has some paint wear and some chipping. It doesn't have any serious issues. Nothing is broken, no pieces are missing, the guard is straight, the plug and cord are in good condition, and there's no rust on the body or corrosion or oxidation on any of the brass. I apologize for the high shipping cost. But this fan large and heavy, and will have to be disassembled and properly packaged in a large box. Both lids have vacant cartouches and hallmarked London 1920, makers mark H F Daltrey& Co. the engravings are very clear, not at all rubbed and the hallmarks distinct. The ebony is in near perfect condition; there is a nick to the corner of one lid(see photo) a 1.5 inch hairline crack to one side of the base and a small rough mark to the inside, none of which are at all noticeable but I like to be meticulous. The Norblin factory was founded in 1809 by the goldsmith Filip Vorbrodt. Who came to Warsaw from the small Anhalt Principality in Germany. His daughter, Henriette Leopoldina Augusta, first married the French silversmith Jean Cerisy and then(after her hudband's death in 1831) another French jeweller Vincent(in Polish, Wincenty) Norblin, the son of Alexander Jean Norblin, owner of a bronze factory in Warsaw. Vincent Norblin(1805-1872) significantly increased the production of silver and bronze items and organised the silver plating. Another beautiful piece of Italian Renaissance furniture. This is over 100 years old and in amazing condition for the age. The original owner of this piece purchased it in Italy. This piece is a two drawer trestle style library table and it comes with two tooled leather chairs. It stands 30.5" high. Has a length of 63.5" and a width of 31 7/8" The chairs have a back height of 41.25" and the seat height is 20" This is constructed from oak and other woods. The top of the table is a thin piece of wood with framing around and underneath it. The edge is finished with a detailed skirt molding all the way around. The trestle style legs are carved with great detail and end at a nicely carved claw foot on each side. The center board is also carved. The marble alabaster part measures 15 inches tall, the bases are 4.75 inches squared. Great color with veins of dark deposits running throughout. The wiring is older but in good working condition but as always please inspect it thoroughly before use, especially after shipment. The design is created by acanthus leaves stacked on each other, the leaves do show some surface abrasion but nothing that would mar the timeless beauty of thes lamps. Beautiful hand carving on front of drawers! Original hardware also. The listing is for the 4 drawers only- no table. I will leave all original so as not to diminish their antique value. One of the drawers has the stopper back farther than the others. easy fix. The original finish is rough. So if you want to restore it you will have to refinish wood& hardware. For an old piece of furniture it is very well made! It seems a little wobbly now. But with a top on it, it will be solid! Outside total measurements are: 13 1/2"deep- 5 3/4" wide- 9 5/8" tall. The clock is completely assembled in the USA, the case is solid nickel plated brass sheet, and the clock is mounted on a black painted resin base with four solid brass feet. The clock measures 9 1/2" tall(the measuring square in the photo is 10" the bezel at front is 7" diameter, at rear the case is 8" diameter, and the dial itself is 5" diameter. The clock is 3 3/4" deep. There is a brass plate on the front of the base which is stamped"1901" The clock operates on one AA battery, which is included. rare antique DROPLEAF TABLE HARDWARE from an 1860 walnut American table
I'd like to tell you I've seen this sort of arrangement before. But never. This is a most unusual drop leaf mechanism. The tapered rod to which I am pointing is held in a spring affair and rests against the skirt when the leaf is up. Stretching it down a bit, until it clears the skirt, allows the leaf to drop. amazingly simple. In 20 years of peddling furniture, I've never seen another. I removed this from a solid walnut table that was so bastardized that it was impossible to tell which pieces came first and which ones started together. I saved the large wood screws and kept them in place with wrapped packaging tape. Soooo you are purchasing this unusual dropleaf mechanism. I am wondering whether some clever individual LONG ago invented this spring configuration by using springs that had another purpose and then never made another ... moredropleaf table again. Could be. One of the tapered rods has been snapped and glued. Really, were this some common bit of hardware, I would toss the pair, but they will make the best dropleaf, maybe replacing some horrid replacement hardware that someone put on thinking they were doing the right thing. If you are purchasing more than a single item. The calculator feature on ebay does its best and is occasionally accurate. The more you purchase, the farther off the mark the calculator can be. It's really pretty simple. If I click USPS as the best shipping choice for a single item, nearly always purchasing 6 will mean FedEx is the best choice. Vintage Antique Brass and Metal Table Bed Stand Adjustable Lamp HUBBELL Switch
Up for bid is a Vintage Antique Brass and Metal Table/ Bed Stand Lamp. This is a very unique(and adjustable) lamp and has"Hubbell" on the switch(see picture) This item stands about 7" tall without the shade or bulb and around 10" with bulb and shade(came with a 25 watt bulb which is not included) and weighs a bit under two pounds. To my surprise this lamp is adjustable in heigh t. The metal base unscrews to make this lamp go from 7" up to about 9 1/2" 12 1/2" with shade and bulb) This piece shows great patina throughout and is being left to next buyer as to how much cleaning is to be done. The wiring on this lamp is definitely older and may need to be redone. As you can see from one of the pictures it does(or at least did) work when I carefully and cautiously tested it! I cannot guarantee that it will continue ... moreto work without rewiring. That being said I am including pictures to show the plug and socket wires. Some fraying of the cloth cover is evident at both ends. I would rather err on the side of being cautious but the rest of the cord seems to be in fairly good shape. No tape jobs or cuts. The"HUBBELL" switch seems to turn nicely and has great on/ off clicks. The shade(which is non metallic) sort of snaps around the bulb. Pictures will show this mechanism on the inside of the shade. This is a very attractive handled Urn Table Lamp produced by Bradley and Hubbard and has their initials and trademark on its base. The lamp is electrified. Cord is good and the lamp works on a switch inserted on the top cover near the bulb socket which is very convenient not having to turn on and off on the cord. The brass finish is in very good vintage condition. this is a very rare antique copper and brass converted oil lamp. it has exquisite ornate victorian design. With very intense detailing. it has highly embossed copper designs that run around the base of the lamp. it has beautiful trim. Base and feet. the upper oil container is a large insert. NICE pre-1915 Vintage Antique Benjamin 2 Socket Table Lamp Cluster Part NR

Up for auction is t his beautiful B e njamin socket cluster. Which I recently purchased for your consideration. The beads/ribs on the shells. As well as the wattage markings, indicate age at circa 1910-1915. Both 4 1/2" pulls operate smoothly, with proper spring on the ret urn. Switches are audibly clicking fine. I tested both sockets. And one works fine, but the other doesn't illu m inate.which may be due to the fact th at the screw holding the socket threads in tact is missing. So I don't think the threads are electrically connected. The flat insulating panels in the center of the socket are both partially missing. Both shells have their original sleeves ... moreintact. I haven't open ed the sockets since I don't wan t to over-fiddle with these gorgeous survivors. Again. Both socket switches have nice click and spring. Shells/cups are in very good condition. With no cracks. Repairs, or significant dents. One shell has a few di mples/minor dents on the socket opening edge. As well as the bead. They do not affect the threads, which accept a bulb just fine. The cente r cup has a tight. Stable crack as shown in the photos. But no repairs or dents besides the thread ed collar being bent slightly(can be straightened) The wiring is quite old/aged and needs to be replaced. Please ask any/all questions before bidding. This is a very Beautiful 8 Paneled Filigree Slag Glass Table lamp. The lamp is signed by the Bradley and Hubbard Mfg co. On all 8 sides of the shade. It is in excellent working order, and looks great to. The lamp does have several professional repairs, including a crack in one glass panel, and 3 to the lower rim of the shade. The lamp stands 23" inches tall, and the shade is about 16.5" inches around. The Base, and the metal frame all have a gold gilded style finish, that is mostly intact, but is missing a little around the rim of the base. RARE Antique Partners English William 1V Mahogany England Writing Table Ca 1835
Looking at a very rare(especially to find in the States) William 1V Mahogany English Writing Table circa 1835* Fitted with the what appears to be the original maroon leather hide writing surface with decorative gold gilt tooling edges. The hide is surrounded by a border of figured mahogany with bull nose moulded edge and rounded corners. There are total of 4 drawers(2 on each side) fitted beneath the writing surface which are mahogany lined and of dovetail construction with turned wooded knob pulls. The table has paneled sides and back and stands on four attractive turned and reeded legs with the original brass and castors. Screws on door pull and castors are modern. The table is made from top quality timber with attractive figuring(especially if one has the means to restore it) Comp prices on internet are well over $5k with $9k-$10k being ... morethe norm. Up for sale is a great victorian era primitive Industrial Work table. It measures 50" wide x 23 1/2" deep. It is 30" high. It would make a great desk or accent piece. Due to the over 100 years of use this item has had I'm going to let the pictures describe the piece. It has great wear and color with victorian pulls. This is a darker green of the two.
