The dovetails in each of the drawers also look hand cut. Overhanging top with molded edges. The exact age of this piece is unknown. While it has hand made details and old woods. It looks like it has a more recent finish and the back and possibly the bottoms of the drawers have been replaced with stained oak. Very pretty petite antique coffee table. This table is special in that it is two tables for the price of one! The overlay is a wood trimmed glass top. Wood is slightly separated. My guess is with a clamp would piece right back together. The glass provides a perfect table for drinks so you don't get any water marks. The under table is wood. So pretty and classic. Small chip as shown that with wood touch up pen could easily be covered. Legs are nicely detailed and cross stretcher adds a touch of class. Overall, a great table for any room. Antique Tiger Oak 1-Drawer Desk/Table with Brass Pulls
This is a beautiful little tiger oak mission-style table I bought at a local estate sale last summer. It doesn't quite fit in the place I was hoping it would. And that is why I am offering it up for auction. It Measures 29" high x 29" wide x 21 1/2" deep. It is a sweet little table that had been in one family throughout its history according to the lady I bought it from. It does have its character flaws(which just adds to its charm! The dove-tailed drawer features the original brass(I think) pulls, but it is broken. The back of the drawer is completely gone and one side of it is cracked toward the back. It looks to me like it was dropped on a corner. The top is a solid piece of wood, and has a slight warp to it. The finish is in good condition, and there are a couple of small dings to the legs. Antique Middle Eastern Persian silk TABLE RUNNER scarf doileytapestry fringes
This beautiful table scarf measures 25.5" x 7" 65cm x 18cm) not including the 3" 7.7cm) silk fringes on either side. It comes from the Middle East. Probably from the former Persia, turn of the century. The colours are mainly ecru/red/blue/gold and are still bright. There are some yellowish stains in the center(photo 5-6-7) but they blend quite well into the design so they are not too obvious. The runner is woven with an interesting texture that looks like diamond shapes. The fringes are in very fine ecru silk threads. Hand-tied, but the main fabric is silk and linen. You can see the woven texture on the back(photo 12) This table runner can also be used to make a pillow front. Or collected for its beauty. No odors. No rips, no tears. Large Long Vintage Antique French Alencon Lace Table Runner 12" x 39-1/2" to start a new paragraph use- Very nice large and long Vintage French Alencon(machine lace) runner measuring 12 inches wide x 39-1/2 inches long. This is in very nice condition. There is one small flaw in the lace on the short edge where it has a minor separation which can be seen in the bottom of the first two photo's. The flaw is minor and if you wished could be completely hidden with a couple small stitches. Otherwise in good condition with no problems, this is untreated and has an overall patina, the edges with some faint tanning, but nothing detracting. This is constructed of a lace panel and edged in matching 1-1/2 inch lace trim on all 4 sides. I believe the threads are all cotton. Antique Lap Desk adapted to be an end table
This a very unusual antique lap desk. Or in a military context, a campaign desk from the first quarter of the ninteenth century. This piece is English in origin. A cabinet maker has cleverly created a frame and legs for the desk in the twentieth century to make it a small end table. The desk is decorated with inlaid brass strips and dots that are still intact. The overall condition of the desk is excellent, considering its age and the fact that it was constantly toted from place to place. The lock still works, but slight warping doesnot allow the top to fully meet the base. The top is 9 1/2" by 17 3/4" It stands 22" tall.
