It’s got solid oak hand-carved rope molded edge. And we’ve fabricated four skirted leaves measuring 10.25 inches each, so when the table is fully opened there is no ugly gap. It took a while, but they are all identically matching the table. The table itself has been completely stripped, sanded, glued up, hand stained, has had multiple coats of sanding sealer and hand-rubbed satin sheen lacquer. Antique Black Forest Carved Swiss Hunt Table Marquetry Stag Chamois Fallow Deer Brienz Antique Black Forest Carved Swiss Hunt Table Marquetry Stag Chamois Fallow Deer Brienz This auction is for this beautiful and very rare hunt table with eight hunting motifs on the periphery and one large hunting motif in the center. I bought this in Brienz. Switzerland in an antique store and it is circa 1880. Jobin in Brienz. Has a comparable table but is smaller and they are asking $35,000 for it. This table is heavily inlaid with different shades of walnut and walnut burl. The center shows a mountain climber robbing an eagles nest and being attacked by the mother eagle. The wooden inlay is such incredible craftsmanship that is unfortunately not produced anymore. The legs of the table consist of one solid center part that is carved from walnut and decorated ... morewith acanthus leaves which is the typical decor of table legs in Switzerland of that period. Three curved legs originate from the center part and are beautifully decorated with large carved Edelweiss in very high relief. The table was totally refurbished and newly waxed for its protection. Due to the age of this table there is some unevenness and some wear but this is typical for a piece of this age. It's still in excellent condition. We are also showing a similar example in an antique Binder catalog. The top diameter is 34.5" and it stands 30" high. The table shows off the gorgeous burl wood designs in the wooden top. The base is solid and beautiful. To open, pull the table away from the wall and swivel the top 90 degrees on a concealed inner pivot, then flip the top open. One of the two side hinges is a replacement(the other is the original hinge from the late 1800's) Both work well. There is a slight gap between the two halves of the top when in the open position(as shown) But the table is sturdy and functional even after more than a hundred years. Here is a great quality antique gem. A 19th century Walnut Round Marble Top Charles the Tenth X 10th Center Table. Beveled white round marble, on a massive urn form center column pedestal, on a tripod base. Each end of the base is supported by the original parcel gilt period paw foot. Crisp lines, deep colored rich wood. Table height is 29.75" and the diameter of the top is 38" Awesome quality antique, maven made piece. Good condition. French Louis XVI Style Fruitwood Leather Top Antique Writing Desk Second Quarter of the 20th Century. Stamped"Made in France" Item# 130006OLV15 This is an outstanding find for any serious interior designer or anyone passionate about Neoclassical forms true to the spirit of Louis XVI furnishings. A French Louis XVI Style Antique Writing Desk executed in solid fruitwood. Presumably Cherry, this piece was crafted during the first half of the 20th Century- this date could probably be further isolated with research into the Circular Crowned Fire Breathing Dragon brand impressed beneath the desk beside the"Made in France" brand. The broad leather top is tooled along the edges. The surface remaining in overall quite good condition despite years of use; it is framed in fruitwood edged by brass tubing, the corners of the frame ... morepinned with exposed pegs. The top projects over three drawers, these hand dovetailed with golden oak secondary woods in the sides, back and machine-chamfered bottom. The original key is retained, working the lock on the middle drawer quite effectively. Each corner of the frame is embellished with gilded ribbed rectangular panels over the legs. The desk rests over turned and tapered legs beneath round brass rings and terminating in capped brass ball feet. It is sturdy and stable. An absolutely perfect piece for regular functional use in a home office or home library. The fruitwood glows throughout with a deep well oxidized patina beneath a polished finish. Measurements: 51 1/8" wide x 27 1/2" deep x 30" high to top; 24" high to underside of apron where the chair would pull under Condition Report: Brass rim with some dents. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1920) wheeled beverage serving cart. This wonderful cart is made of walnut with an oak top. According to the previous owner, the cart had been a serving piece on an old passenger railroad. The cart has a center drawer on the upper front. The glass knobs are old and original and feature an incised/ribbed design. The cart has a two tone finish which is quite striking. The oak top is a medium golden brown while the walnut(shelves and legs) is in a very dark finish. There are brass flat screws which are exposed for a"riveted" effect. The top of the cart features these on all sides(photo 5) The cart is wheeled with the original casters in place. The drawer has an old"barn wood" looking bottom with the wood rough hewn. There are several areas of stamped letters and numbers under ... morethe cart with most of them being indiscernible. The cart is stamped"I.C.C.6" very clearly under the middle shelf. I do not know if this is a manufacturer's mark. There is a piece of an old moving sticker still attached as well. This is a beautiful. Antique cart with a sleek and slightly modern design. It is in very good antique condition. It is quite sturdy and the wheels move freely. The wheels do show some age and are pitted from use. There is a very slight water mark on the top but it is not distracting. There is a mark on the lower shelf as well. The wood has some minor chips, but again, nothing distracting. The finish is old and original and has a general"crackled" appearance. The cart measures are follows: The top. Which over hangs the entire piece is 34.75" wide and 19.5" deep(front to back) The shelves are 24.5" wide and 15.5" front to back. The cart stands 29.5" tall. This is a Beautiful antique Seth Thomas Mission Style mantel clock. There is a tiger wood veneer facing on the front. It has a really small piece gone from the bottom left and a bigger piece missing on the bottom right. Other than those 2 minor things this clock is in very good condition. The timing faceplate has been replaced with a new one. The timing is pretty close to being right on. Yet it will take some adjusting to get it just right but it does work well. This is a beautiful. Crotch mahogany game table. It is diminutive in size at 29.5" H x 30" W x 17" deep and really fits anywhere. The legs are graceful and ornately carved. The top is a gorgeous flame mahogany with wonderful grain and rich color. The top swivels and opens to a four person game table. Inside, there is a"secret" compartment for cards or chips. The inside of the icebox was usually lined with galvanized metal, zinc, slate, porcelain, or wood. The ice box literally began as a wooden box. The hey day of the ice box was something like this: The iceman delivered ice for the first ice boxes the predecessor of the modern day refrigerator. Beautiful antique wooden carved tri-foot lion claw feet for furniture repair. These are lovely and were made early. Not sure of the age, I unfortunately broke the table that they were attached to. The actual claw feet are 10 1/2" from the toes/claws to the middle base by 8 1/4" high from floor to the base. The center base piece is about 9 1/4" high by 4 3/8" wide. I believe that they're mahogany, but can't be positive. Please examine the pictures closely, there are some glue marks, etc. that show the condition better than I can describe. Thanks for looking!

They measure 20 7/8" long not including the peg. The base end of the spindle is 11/16" The top of the spindle is 3/4" I believe that they're mahogany, but can't be positive. I believe most of the wood is there except for the piece that goes across the vented end and has the latch piece attached to it.Looks like the restof the mechanical are there.
